Have to say I was pretty impressed with his effort here. Bought himself an L85, and all the kit, not sure of the suitability of him sewing on some badges though. He's getting a SUSAT scope at Christmas to round it off.

My wallet hates me right now... Went to onlyairsoft in Stevenage yesterday to get a few items... Bought a case big enough to fit the Striker12, a pistol case for my Webley revolver and some BBs... Then I saw a KWA GBB Skorpion in one of the display cases. After handling the Skorpion and test firing it on the range, I was walking out the shop with it and 3 extra 40 round mags

I still owe money to Clinton, Gates, Murray & Oddie. I'm really struggling to pay my Bills.

My nan is really old, and she spends hours just staring through the lounge window. Sometimes, when it is really cold outside we let her into our house.

Picked up one of these bad boys. A Cybergun Famas F1 Evo. Not had a chance to play with it yet, but so far it seems to be pretty good. It haa a basic mosfet and you can adjust the FPS with the supplied Allen key without having to open up the gun. I have managed to get shooting between 330 and 365 fps which is great.

I also have a CYMA CM.040 and can say that it is a great gun out of the box. I have not needed to do anything with mine other than feed it quality bbs.

I see Cyma AK, I like Cyma AK. Plus, everyone (even me) has an M4 or M4-adjacent gun. I'd go with the Cyma cm040. Cyma AKs have always been brilliant and it will be an absolute workhorse of a gun with minimal tweaks (literally I'd just swap out the hop rubber and nub and keep the rest stock).

Absolute comedy of errors today. Still managed to have fun, but holy crap was it annoying. I literally forgot my shirt. Not joking, I totally forgot to bring my MARPAT combat shirt so I had to play the whole day (as a ghillie sniper with a ghillie cape) in a black fleece instead. Good thing I practice like this during the summer, so I knew my camo and concealment fundamental skills are good and I knew what I could do and get away with having the entire front of my torso just not camo'd up at all! First game started, I was really hyped to play as injury and gun issues have stifled my last few game days and we were playing a part of the site we never play, which I feel we need to play more because it's great. I spend 20 minutes fighting through thick, overgrown foliage (lots of stamping down on thorns to clear a path) getting into a stupid sneaky position with my HPA VSR, which I decided to run today because it was 5 degrees celcius so not the best weather for gas guns. Got into the position, could see the whole enemy team from a lovely elevated but still well concealed hide on the flank. Lined up my first shot, pulled the trigger aaaaaaaand... click. Solenoid activated and no air came out. Checked my tank and it was empty, so I have a leak somewhere. Tested my hicapa back in the safe zone and one of the mags feed lips decided they didn't want to be there any more and sheared off, snapping and flying off somewhere. The spring and follower thankfully remained in the magazine, but need new feed lips for one of my hicapa mags now. Ugh! Went back to the safe zone and sighted in my m700 that I also brought as a backup. I brought my 2J m700 build since the sight lines are longer at Worthing through the winter and as it was 2J on 144a in 11 degrees celcius, so I figured with more powerful gas it'd be fine at 5 celcius. Went to chrono it with the ASG ultraair I have (which is a little bit stronger than standard green gas, let alone 144a) and it was coming up between 0.9J at the lowest and 1.16J at the highest. Not what I wanted, but at least it was working, conveniently without any MED, and it was sailing the .48s out there so I went out to use that after lunch and had a LOT of fun. On a timed attack and defend game I was the only one who went around on one flank and kept about 10 people occupied by myself (and started picking them all off as they couldn't pinpoint or hit me). Was a lot of impact and I ran out of ammo (3x 28rd mags goes fast fighting 10 people, though I can usually make them last!) Got back to the safe zone afterwards, packing stuff away aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... the AEP lipo in my mp7 tears the end off when I take it out, totally breaking the battery. I go to tape it up so I can battery bin it tomorrow (my local Lidl has a battery bin) and it starts sparking and burning through the tape. The site tech basically pulls the metal contacts off the wires inside so it no longer does that and I tape it all up for the battery bin tomorrow. I can't think of much more that could've realistically gone wrong, but I still managed to get out there and have a bit of fun. Christmas game next game day, so I'm thinking of wearing some festive reindeer antlers and taking a bolt action rifle; usually reindeer are the hunted, so I'm going to turn that around and have the reindeer become the hunter 😈

Hi folks, been a busy few months with work and life, but still been pewing regularly. Had a bit of a disaster with my SVU, snapping off the little bit of metal that holds the scope on. Happened when placing it down mid game to switch to my M4 - which had managed to slip its outer barrely a suppressor without me noticing either (thankfully found those on the walk back to the safe zone). So the SVU needs either a new receiver - which I can't find anywhere; or machining a new bit of metal that will enable the scope to grip the gun a bit lower down. Gggrrr..... By way of therapy, I bought myself a new Pew in the form of a Rapax XXI M7. But of course it doesn't end there..... New battery needed, extra mags needed, new scope (although oddly my shitty ACOG seems to work pretty well with it), bi-pod, Mlocks and mag pouches. God dammit! Only meant to spend £300..... Now I'm over £700 in the hole and still need to fix the SVU 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 SWMBO is going to go nuts when she comes home in hte New Year to discover all these new guns (the Boy bought himself an L85 and complete Afghan loadout) Tried a couple of new sites - Skirmish Wycombe and Skirmish Billericay, both a good laugh, but a bit of a trek. Brother and Nephew are coming to a day next week at AWA which should be a laugh. Nephew shot my lad in the eye the other day with a Nerf gun, so he is out for revenge.... My bother is not the most outdoorsy of people, but gives everything 110% so that should be a laugh. Anyway - hope you're all keeping well?

Well, I am well and truly hooked now. My Cyma m4 has been stood down and a shiny new m4 is here… and yesterday I sold one of my guitars to reinvest in another new toy.. A JG RPK replica. It doesn’t say so on the advert on PB but it looks like it is EBB. I will post a pic when it arrives. Substantially cheaper than most other shops where it was £280…

I have a few thoughts on how to remount it, but I want to avoid drilling/permanently cementing the housing if possible. Bipod and first-draft scope coming tomorrow for the Rapax so looking forward to having a tinker in the garden before the boy comes back from Army Cadet camp and sees what I've been up to on my weekend alone LOL. Shot the side of a hot water tank with it today and am very glad we have MED on sites... 'cos that made one hell of a dent in what was quite a thick sheet of copper. Don't have anything I would risk filming a game with, but got some pretty good pictures from the Halloween shoot at AWA:

Glad your enjoying the regular frustrations of pew life with intensive retail therapy mate. You can get side mount plates for AKs that rivet/screw on to a receiver. You could flatten the existing broken bits and Araldite one on (or do it vaguely properly anyhow). Ant Supplies have them from memory. Don't be cruel and film your brother only to post on here for God's sake...

Another successfull spray job. Forend, carry handle and stock were all the same blue polymer as the UMP. Once again, the black was built up with several light coats, with about 20 minutes drying time between. Once the coverage looked right I left it for 24 hours and then gave it a couple of coats of matt laquer. Once I'd sprayed the laquer there were a couple of spots that went cloudy, but letting It all dry for another 24 hours and then buffing it out with a drop of olive oil on a kitchen towel got rid of it entirely.

possibly but likely to have fitment issues as it is just a rebranded KWC you would be batter just getting KWC mags (it maybe even be based on the Western Arms DE)

Just been to collect my new toy from parcelfarce... FCW Striker 12 and 12xPPS shells. Quick fiddling around with it all has revealed 3 duff shells... 2 with loose fitting base plates allowing the shell to fall forward and jam the drum, and one needing the BB retaining cap and new o ring glueing onto the body... Also eyeing up a replacement barrel (without inner barrel) so I can use APS shells Ps. Excuse the DVD player remote in second pic.. needed something to stop the gun rolling over on its drum so I could take a half decent pic

from what i have seen cybergun rebrands the WE and KWC Desert Eagles. the KWC is possibly a clone of the TM desert Eagle and the WE is a proprietary design so there will be most likely no cross over. one on the left does look like a TM copy

This and this again. Airsofters love chatting about guns, gear etc and their choices. Be warned though, getting them to shut up can be a challenge.
