  2. My MWS. Never been a fan of anything other than black on guns but recently started liking the look of the dark green and black. Just got the Magpul and Red dot mount to do.

  4. Best thing I've had was myself and a guy on opposite team just launching tags back and forth like a twisted game of tennis to the horror of the poor rentals stood in the middle not sure where to run to.

  9. That Tag shot was beautiful, sailed half way across the field before landing right by us and detonating. I did congratulate you about it later in the day because it was such a great shot and was one of the highlights of the day even though I was the one that got hit by it (I was the twat wearing shorts and a leopard hat). It was my first time at Red Alert Newbury but I had an amazing day and will definitely be back as often as possible. Everyone was friendly and a really good sport and just there to have fun, no bullshit and everyone got along regardless of their playstyle and the marshals did a great job of keeping everything under control and running smoothly.

Great to hea- Nope, I'm done with giving him the benefit of the X. He's an utter throbber who documents his throbbing. He doesn't deserve any assumption of innocence at this point. If he thinks he can monetise it, he'll do it.

  11. I finished this Umarex Buntline yesterday, after being a little underwhelmed with a KTW Winchester and acquiring a stock cheaply. Turns out the stock is from a Colt SAA 2nd generation, what they put with the actual branded buntlines in 1957. Barrel made from aluminium with brass internally, and a tanaka ejector. Assembles and disassembles as it was designed. Shooting at 0.9 joules and hops 0.32s on a flat trajectory at 40m, the limit of my garden. Probably a realistic 55m but the bbs will be travelling pretty slowly by then. Hammer mod to make the hammer sit more flush with the frame. Bottom one is also hopped but for 0.25s.

  12. We are pleased to finally announce we are now stocking Evolution International. For anyone who already knows of Evolution then you know how much of an exciting announcement this is! For anyone who doesn't, Evolution are an Italian company who has been carving their own path in the airsoft industry with their boldness and innovation. In 2018 at the IWA2018 & Outdoor Classics, Evolution presented their first line of guns to be entirely developed and manufactured in Italy. Since then they have further pushed their designs and are now on to the third iteration of their signature E.T.S, boasting a large number of features including programmable fire modes, adjustable triggers, voltage detection and so much more from a microswitch. With their great pricing and intuitive designs, it won't be long until they are leading the way for the future of airsoft weaponry.

  13. Josh: Will be interesting to see how the 'Evolution' develops (...More airsoft toy manufacturers the better) Rogerborg: True of earlier ones. They seem to be better now the electrics are handled by BMW 😄

  15. Every site will always have some bad players, it is how everyone else deals with it that can make or break the day for me. I had such a good time I will definitely be back again, it is about and an hour and a half drive for me but is definitely worth it. I will just have to watch my back for long range TAG rounds😁

As pictured above, selling on behalf of a friend. The gun fires and cycles but has a tendency to run away on full auto despite being limited to semi-automatic, could be a quick fix for someone in the know, my friends moved on to HPA. He machined the trigger position set himself. Probably a collection job due to the weight of this thing. Gunbox not included. Not splitting the mags. 17. Hey! Good to see you here! That was such a jammy shot 🤣 One of those "I can't believe I pulled that off!" moments. Red Alert is always like that. I rarely go anywhere else since discovering it, and that includes a decent site which is about 15 minutes from my door, when RA is nearly an hour away. It's just a bloody fun site, run by people that love airsoft. Very rarely any assholes. You do still get the occasional bulletproof Rambo, but that's just airsoft for you 🤷🏼 I'll look out for the leopard helmet again. You are now a Tag Reaper magnet 😉

  18. Indeed, and yet the Zapatistas, Naaxalites, YPG/YPJ, Yazidi militias, ELN, Nepalese Maoists, Sendero Luminoso to name the first to mind have done just that. Even more 'bonkers...' Mao arming the Red Guards to rise against elements of his own government/military.

  20. Came back to this thread.. some good comments... That "price of freedom" does seem to sum it up, as we see it from this side of the pond... if there was a "QAnon against gun ownership", they'd be saying there was some deep-state conspiracy with a mass-hypnosis of the population into supporting the military-industrial complex blah blah blah. Perhaps that's what the NRA is The idea of the populace "rising against the military" just sounds so stupidly bonkers, doesn't it? Yeah, not much else than that finger click will fix the problem, thanks to the millions of guns already in circulation. 3D printing seems to a building threat too. Not so much for the few guns being made, but the willingness of non-criminals to go there, and indulge the idea of avoiding the law altogether in pursuit of their "rights". Oh America, where did it all go wrong?

Honestly wish he would jump ship and move to paintball seeing as he keeps justifying his headshots by saying people should be using full face anyway but guess he couldn't claim his shots hit people when the paint splatter says otherwise.

  23. No, theres nothing wrong with wanting something different. If you like it then you like it and that's all the validation you need. The only thing you might struggle with is parts that are proprietary, it's the downside of straying from the path of generic m4 or ak. But thats only if you're the type to tinker and try to squeeze every last drop of performance from your pew.

  25. I do find the apparent change in US “gun culture” in the last decade or two interesting. It’s become a thing when a generation ago guns seemed to be much more of a tool for hunting/sport. Now there is a whole industry in selling the next home defence CAR-15 derivative. Most of my experience with the US is working along side them and getting the impression that is really two different counties. I guess that’s reflected more than ever in the politics. Unqualified gun ownership, US constitution doesn’t quite say that but hey that’s their legal system. The UK as has been said is quite regional and certainly a divide between town and country on this issue. Growing up in a rural area and working on farms it was excepted to have access to and use firearms relatively young. Urban expansion has forced many ranges and other field sports business to move. Pressure from certain parts of the political spectrum have tended to demonise the firearms and country sports in general. The Legal response to specific horrific incidents has had an effect on some types of gun crime. My feeling is social change has had the most impact. Living in a country where I do not have the right on carry a firearm wherever I go is fine. If it’s balanced by the fact that I do not need to carry one to be safe from crime. But never say never. And there are options to own and use a variety of firearms for sport.

  32. Oops, sorry, I forgot this was your day job. 🤦‍♂️ Thanks for sharing actual info with us, I really appreciate it. Shooting isn't the issue, it's the appearance. Whether a bunch of parts that could be combined into an IF counts as an IF, phew, who knows? You'd have to be very unlucky to fall foul of the law there.
