Well I’m officially in the club. And it’s my first two tone gun ever 😂. The deal was simply too good to pass up. Thank you to the seller who sold it. You’re a gentleman sir! And before anyone says, it’s green. I know. The chap was not UKARA registered when he bought it in March and it’s never been skirmished with either. Anyway, I’ve a CTR stock to replace the cheap plastic marui one and I’ll add a DD defence rail once I get a PTS barrrel spacer. In the mean time I’ll take the rail off my sopmod. They are the same I do believe. And, OMG, the recoil/blowback. Bloody hell! My teeth fell out 😂4 points

Had a good day at Skirmish Wycombe with @Barny and @snuff. fun games, all though it does feel like the teams were a bit uneven. I definately still love my RIF, got quite a good amount of kills with it, even at longer distance. There were some account of non-hit taking, but nothing I could get to bummed about. During the last game a fight almost broke out between two players about taking, or not taking, hits. one guy dropped his RIF and started taking his vets off. Luckily I was standing closeby, shouted at them and got between them before they got any close and managed to make them act like adults (at least for as long as they're on the field, after that it's not my problem anymore) I think some words were spoken between the two groups later (probably not very friendly ones) but both parties did eventually go home without anything serious happening. I like Skirmish, good big site, and even tho every gameday has roughly the same games every time (the good part is that you get more and more experience on the field and will find out what good tactics are). The marshalls are good, altho today, with the rowdy players, it became clear that they're maybe all a bit too young still (I think they're late teens to early 20's) so when everyone behaves themselves not a problem, but when idiots want to start shit they don't have the experience to adequately handle the situation. it didn't put a damper on my day tho. Most of the day was good, not gonna let 5 minutes destroy my mood. also a plus(-ish), for lunch there was lasagne (with chips which I think is an odd combo, but hey) normally I'm not big into pasta but I was quite hungry so managed to eat something anyway. still a bit of an unexpected luxury. and Skirmish is now also offering breakfast in the mornings (before 10) haven't tried it but cool that they do it.3 points -

Did my first night game yesterday and it was great. UK woodland gets SUPER DARK so we were wandering around without being able to see more than 5m in front of us. The only way we could really see anything was silhouettes. (NVGs weren't allowed because of the scenario requiring a well-equipped hunter force having a massive advantage over us) Wore a ghillie suit, got tripped over, took out a whole squad of three people with a pistol. Good day. Very good day.2 points

That doesn't surprise me, the honey Badger motor is shit. Pretty sure my dad used a 22tpa SHS motor to upgrade my mates gun.1 point -

A bit of a mixed bag for me. My camelback leaked on the train and I didn't notice till I'd lost about 3/4 of it. Then no taxis were available so I had to walk the rest of the way meaning I missed the first game. Later my Striker decided to start playing silly buggers. On the plus side the games were great with plenty of enthusiasm from all resulting in some really good games which more than made up for the issues I had in the morning1 point -
Another great day! The specna M4 performed flawlessly, sending 0.28s way over there and took full advantage of it throughout the games, at some point a few of the younger players questioned the legality of the gun. Opted to leave the AAP at home and only take the mk23, should have left that one too as I used it once. But anyway. We invited a club we really enjoy playing with, bunch of players who play well but don't take airsoft too seriously, 14 people on the field in total. Games went well, got some long range kills and in the last game I single handedly wiped the whole attacking team. Well, to be completely honest it was almost impossible to dig me out of the hole I found without doing a WW1 style trench charge. Downside: gotta rework my full kit. Again. Fuck me.1 point

Having owned what is probably the best built TM 416 in the land, I still can’t put the mws down. Gas is just better 😎1 point

Here's an update on how my URGI build currently stands. TM MWS CQBR - Base HAO Industries MK16 Rail Z-Parts URGI-1 Airborne Charging Handle Z-Parts Daniel Defence 10.3" Outer Barrel Magpul K2 Pistol Grip Magpul ASAP QD Rear Sling Plate Magpul M-Lok Hand Stop Magpul Magazine Pulls Magpul Clone MOE SL-K Stock (waiting for genuine to restock) HAO Industries Geissele T1 mount Vortex Optics Crossfire Surefire Clone M300B Weapon Light Arisaka Clone M-Lok Weapon Light Mount Wiitech Trigger Guard Ergo Gapper Angry Gun 4 Prong Surefire Flash Hider Angry Gun Surefire Suppressor Angry Gun Maritime Bolt Stop PTS Griffin Armament BUIS Ferro Concepts Slingster - Multicam Black Ferro Concepts QD Sling Swivels TacbeltsUK Suppressor cover - Multicam Black SixG Brass Hop Nub It is without a doubt the best gun I have ever had the pleasure of owning and I now have no interest in anything other than GBBR's 😂 Performance is incredible, and other than the brass nub i have no intentions of changing any other internal parts. On a rather warm day a couple of weeks ago it chrono'd at around 260fps using 0.32g and Abbey Predator Ultra gas, which is fairly close to the limit so I'm glad I didn't go for a tight bore inner barrel! Apart from sourcing a Genuine Magpul Stock, Unity Tactical Mount and maybe an IR laser / torch I really don't think it needs anything else other than feeding with gas and bb's! Would genuinely consider buying another M4 MWS in the future to build a longer rifle or maybe wait out and see how TM's AKM MWS gets on, who knows!? Although I do keep looking at GHK 553's... Anyway heres a few photos of my URGI!1 point

already got some abbey 35 oil for my airguns, and i will look into using it on the sten, but i think the manual may be a typo as the steel looks to be "blued", which in itself is a corrosion inhibitor, but i may be wrong i do have a p37 webbing harness and a pair of pouches, but to be able to skirmish the sten i will need more mags, and thus more pouches (or even the bandolier) but with money so tight at the moment, i wont be buying anything much for a few months1 point

M249/Mk46 users.. FYI. Just bought a boxmag from BULLGEAR, which is their upgraded one with metal internals. I was holding off as it shows you have to wire the mag into the mechbox..but if you drop them a message on FB, they will send you the "new" version with a battery inside it. (My 4th shitty plastic chienese piece of expensive crap box mag died on Sunday..no more messing around) £138 inc shipping for the Bullgear box mag. (And A&K plastic box mags retail for £99.99..lol)1 point -
Today's game was really fun! 9 people from 2 different clubs plus one or two "freelancers", playing in the hardest and steepest part of our field. Games were smooth, hit taking excellent and we had a good laugh when a single defender wiped the whole attack out in the first 60 seconds of the 2nd last game Did have a few issues with my kit, namely forgetting my bag of bbs at home (had a 2300bb drum, but had to stick to semi auto) and my bodged up backpack ripping itself apart. plus my arms are full of scars because diving in bushes while wearing just a tee is fun If only all game days were like this.1 point
