"never seen a game. just back garden shooting." I'm just picturing him kneeling on those knee pads, wearing his mesh facepro, 3-round-bursting away at a cardboard box, with a sight-protector on his gun. Sadder than pineapple on pizza. "All in all I'm looking at around £800 for this as to date this rifle has cost me in excess of £1500." How the actual... oh, right, Kingdom of Airsoft. I wonder how much it will cost for Luke at Negative Airsoft to fix it... I might actually pay to watch the rant video.4 points

Depends what you consider a pizza to be I guess. if the words deep pan and hawaian feature on it then there’s no hope for you2 points -
Where did you eat in Pisa @Asomodai? Because I've lived there for 5 years during my failed attempt at becoming an architect, I was actually born in there and still own the house my parents met and lived in before moving to La Spezia (some 70 kilometres NW of Pisa along the coast, where we still live today), that I now rent to students. The good places are in the old part of the town, mostly in the small alleys between the river and the main train station. Almost none of them make pizza though, they do offer local dishes (a lot of meat, Tuscany is famous for their steaks and meat based dishes) at good prices. The restaurants you see near the tower are really terrible, you might as well eat at McDonald's, you get better food and pay less money..1 point

yo fuck off Heh, can't deny, some places really can't cook for shit.... There are different ways of thinking when it comes to pizza. The true pizza is just tomato sauce, mozzarella di bufala (you could translate that into buffalo mozzarella) and just a couple of basil leaves, thin crust (1/1.5 cm thick, crispy-ish) and the base kinda supports itself when sliced. Fries and wurstels are a common topping for youngsters, vinegar is a thing too when people start putting vegetables on (especially a sour type of salad I absolutely can't remember the name of, coupled with proper parmesan slices). One of my all time favourites is speck (a smoked salty kind of ham) and mascarpone cheese (sweet-ish, to compensate for the speck). There is also a restaurant in my town that recently opened up one in London (called La Pia), they make a softer, thicker kind of pizza that has become a trademark for them (I like it but as with all things, YMMV), and it's basically my town's street food Then of course you see those cunts putting fucking pineapple on pizza and you start hearing voices in your head that tell you to cleanse the earth from such heresy... now that is some heresy. Malta? Wine? the fuck?1 point

1) Stop topping-shaming people! 2) In my experience it's very difficult to find someone willing to pay any more than £600 for a secondhand RIF. Regardless of what it cost to put together.1 point -
The No4's design/shape must be too old to have any sort of patent apply and afaik nobody has anything like trademark license holding over the markings that the Royal small arms factories applied to Lee-Enfield type rifles. Unless there's some aspect to the way the airsoft gun operates that's patented I can't really see what they mean there, unless Redwolf setup some shenanigans when they did theirs maybe? Be interested to know what they meant specifically.1 point

Well, it's got that "actually exists and is for sale" premium on it. Plenty of places are looking pretty thin on stock at the moment.1 point

Decided to revisit the MP7 GBB platform as first time around never gave myself enough time to try & play. Bought from CamoRaids with their pre upgraded package which packs a mighty punch on 0.40 bb's Added the vortex red dot for daytime sighting, night time set up based on Zenitco Perst-4 & Klesch-2 attachments to accompany an NV monocular & Thermal imaging scope Ran this out last weekend at a Milsim during the night & the body count was high!1 point -

I really like the new viper stuff. I got a jacket and trousers in their sale for £45 - sizing is a bit odd, but the jacket i really dig. Trousers i had to go a size down a they didnt have my size - so a touch tight but surprisingly good. Jacket - like i said odd sizing as it's a bit tight in the shoulders but baggy on the forearms. Mind you, i've yet to try it under a plate carrier. But wearing out on a drizzly, muggy day out to Aldi was really good and breathable. edit: so postie turned up today with the last of my summer spending. Right, grab a cuppa as this is a long one with charts and graphs! So, having found that my current MWS set up was less than consistent on FPS I decided to play about with the parts I had to find the best (ie most consistent) set up available. Quick Notes: RA Black NPAS - Lose fit in TM nozzle, very lose fit in Angry Gun nozzle (probable source of inconsistency) Requires safety-pin to stop it rotating while using special tool to wind in or out. Hard to see in nozzle when adjusting. Angry Gun adjustable valve - Good fit in Angry Gun nozzle, was too large to fit in TM nozzle. Had a drop of superglue added to rear of grub screw to prevent it unscrewing and flying out the barrel! It was a good tight fit in the screw threads so unlikely. Easy to adjust with allen key, nozzle marked "+ more / - less" on the nozzle to aid adjustment RA Silver NPAS - Had been sanded around circumference to fit smoothly in TM nozzle, was a bit lose in Angry Gun. Easier to see when adjusting it, again it requires safety-pin to stop it rotating while using special tool to wind in or out. Things I did not change: Nuprol Green Gas / v2 MWS magazine, unmodified / 0.28g G&G BBs. Modify Tan Bucking / Laylax hop arm / Crazy Jet 250mm barrel. G&P highspeed buffer / SixG HSB / std recoil spring. Xcoretech X3200 Chrono The weather, sunny 22deg C. All tests conducted out of direct sunlight Dynamic Precision green nozzle cup (moved between test setups) Magazine given a 10s charge, left for 30mins. Given a 4s top-up and left for 5mins between tests What I changed: Initially I used the Dynamic Precision lightweight bolt for tests #1 and #2 Test 1: Angry Gun Nozzle and valve, Dynamic Precision nozzle spring. (GREY plot) Test 2: TM stock nozzle, RA Silver NPAS, Dynamic Precision nozzle spring. (ORANGE plot) Test 3: TM Stock bolt with RA Silver NPAS, Dynamic Precision nozzle spring. (RED plot) Test 4: Dynamic Precision bolt, Angry Gun nozzle, Dynamic Precision nozzle spring, RA Black NPAS (this was conducted a couple of days ago, and kicked off the investigation, otherwise all the same) (BLACK plot) Results: Have a look at the two charts, both have the same data, but the scatter graph has the best-fit line added to aid in looking for the most consistent set up. The setup #3 was the most consistent, but changing to the DP bolt(#2) gave almost the same consistency but slightly higher FPS (maybe more gas efficient?) The one outlier at 305fps spoilt it somewhat so maybe over 20-35rds it might be just as good as #3? The TM bolt, due to the extra weight, gave more recoil, but probably at the expense of gas efficiency. I feel this is an acceptable trade-off as the action was still pretty snappy (thanks in part to the SixG HSB) and full auto was still fast enough. The DP lightweight piston probably saves a little gas and can eke out a few more rounds from a magazine but it will likely be marginal and at the expense of recoil felt (if you want low recoil and high RPS....get an AEG!) Conclusions: The TM Nozzle with the modified RA Silver NPAS seems to be the most consistent, it is likely that the bolt (TM or DP) has little bearing on the outcome in terms of FPS consistency. Recoil and gas efficiency is where these make a difference. The TM Nozzle with the RA Black NPAS (built for the MWS system) is a loser fit and will likely have a wider variance, but not as bad as the larger internal-bore Angry Gun nozzle! (I would guess it would be around the 17-19fps spread...maybe one day I'll check!) So, if you use Angry Gun parts...use the whole thing and don't change out valves/NPAS. Or better yet, if other experiences are to go by, just stick to TM! If you are sticking with TM nozzles try the RA Tech Silver NPAS and spend 5mins with some fine wet&dry carefully sanding the external diameter until it drops in and moves freely. If you can find a Black on that is a suitable alternative...oh and in both cases carry a safety pin in your tool box to adjust it1 point

Yesterday I cracked on and put the original barrel and bucking back. First shot jammed. Took it to bits and rebuilt it again. First shot jammed. Took it to bits and decided to video taking to bits to send to @rocketdogbert to see if he could tell me what I had done wrong. However, making the video, I realised.... well, you can listen to the penny drop here for yourselves: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OV8e07r5o3jUdpRgKu4yj2QXxw-zKW4- Anyway - after that total cock up, I reinstalled the CJ barrel and Super nub (which is a bit worse for wear and need replacing) and changed the nub back to the original FAST nub. It was firing at a consistent 2.2J on .48s, giving 315fps with a 1-2 fps deviation per shot. Today is the real test though, as I'm taking it for range and accuracy testing. Fingers crossed!1 point -

Only £600 for the whole job lot! I wonder if that's some sort of uber expensive red detailing on the RIF which you can only find in the deep depths of Mordor hence the price or maybe those knee pads on the belt add to some realism which for sure justify the asking price... Oh it's the Nuprol case isn't it...? https://prefired.co.uk/ads/airsoft-starter-joblot/ https://prefired.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/345388-scaled.jpeg0 points
