Finally managed to buy some BUIS for the SOPMOD. Genuine Magpul and only cost me around £12, so happy with that.

For years when I was a kid and my Dad worked in London, he talked about London weighting. But I always thought it was London waiting. I just assumed he got the extra for all the time he spent in traffic!

Guys you’ve missed a very important point about the prices he’s asking , he’s living in London so you have to add the London waiting allowance on to the price as well . With most jobs in the smoke that’s a couple of grand extra per year so would even out to a couple of hundred quid extra on his sale ! 😉 What a cockwomble! 🤦‍♂️

Been doing some work on the CXP-16. More on the internals than externals, since I last posted a pic. - Stripped down the upper gearbox, cleaned and re-greased with Silocon Grease, looks like gun grease was used before. - Added more PTTE tape to the cylider head. - Upgraded the spring as it was still only getting around 315 FPS, now a nice 345. - new longer tightbore barrel, 455mm ZCI barrel extended into the suppressor - flathopped it using prometheus flat hop nub and Tippman Bucking with the usual flat hopping by grinding off the raised bits on the inside. - took the BUIS off - Fitted a short picatinny rail so I can have a vertical grip at the front

I really want the suppressor, but it cuts off what is as far as I’m concerned the greatest noise ever. That ring the flash hider makes with every shot 😂

I shall find a less confusing backdrop next time 😂

Probably should of just returned it as they would be obligated to pay the postage and send a replacement as its defective, if its by PayPal maybe make a claim? You can also chargeback via paypal if you fund the transaction via a debit card, see what happens for now. Or threaten them down the line.
