Didn't play at all today at Worthing. I planned on playing, but we got there late due to an issue with the car, then by the time I had set up my Kar98k after the safety brief and passed it through chrono with one of the staff, the gameplay was a rolling assault down at the bottom of the site which is basically impossible to play with an MED because it's waaaaaaaaaay too overgrown down there; the entire bottom of the site really needs some help, as it's been neglected for years and has been retaken by Mother Nature. Heard that the game after lunch was going to be around the lower part of the site too, so I didn't go out, though I do think they instead decided to play at the top of the site after lunch. However I wasn't too bothered at this point and wanted to just make sure I set up my mk12 MWS as well as the last time I used it with a different NPAS, it simply wouldn't get up to power. At some point I will get the new maxx hop unit for it, but for now it's shooting fine with the 60d Flamingo rubber and the JP titan nub. So while I didn't play, I did make sure my DMR of choice was shooting well, as well as making sure the Kar98k was still shooting really well, so that's nice. For now I think I'm going to stick with those two because the MWS is a lot of fun and the Kar98k is a real head-turner and both are shooting really well at the moment. Will probably take these two to the next game day I go to (or swap the Kar98k for the Tanaka AICS as that's a bit of a head-turner too), which probably won't be for a month as I'll be missing the next one. Still loving the £20 AliExpress low profile belt kit as well. Such a great investment

Disassembled the whole thing - turns out: The piston head has detached from the piston. No damage. This is probably cos I didn't use threadlock. The nozzle lips that let it sit in the tappet plate have broken along one cardinal edge, but I have an XT POM-based replacement that I wanted to use anyway, so I will install that. Will put it back together better than I did before and give an FPS report once it's done.

This probably doesn't exist, just a very niche build idea I've got, but I thought I'd ask around in case. Far as I know the original TM AR AEGs all inevitably go loose and floppy where the barrel meets the upper and where the buffer tube meets the upper and apparently in not all that long of a time span either; their old plastic on rifles is of course notorious for creak and just generally wearing down (even my NGRS SCAR-L stock was terrible and that may be old now but it's a lot newer than the 733). I'd take a blank lower/no trades, can modify any other type of AR to change the forend setup and stock etc, just need the receivers to be fairly close to real Colt A2, not the typical modern Specna/DE/G&G fictional CoD-looking malarkey.

I had the similar experience flying to Italy. I was carring a semi assembed AK gearbox in my backpack and was seized in UK by the security , a lot of questions, almost lost the plane and collected at the return in UK. I was carring a AEG inner barrel in my hand suitcase coming to UK. Again was seized at the security check and lost it. On the other hand, when I went to Japan, I bought PTW M4 parts, a RIS and a Tokyo Marui revolver , fitted in the checked luggage and i did not have any problems.

At a stage where I'm happy to share the progress on this. China Lake 40mm grenade launcher. It will be a 3+1 40mm pump action grenade launcher. Externals are pretty much done and just waiting on some parts to make progress on the internals. All 3D printed in a mixture of ABS, PLA and Wood filament. There are a couple of parts that I'm going to CNC in metal (looking at you pump arms) but the 3D printed ones will be good enough for testing.
