,I was around 16 stone few years ago and over the years it been hard to shift the weight, I started running so I when airsoft with my son I could keep up and have fun without dying from exhaustion. So, over this year I have been running more and more, I started out slow from couch to 5K and in June I did my first race for life 10k event its so good getting across the finish line. I can now run the 10k distance without stopping and my current weight dropped to 13.4 stone at age 40 right now. Thanks.

Did blackout airsoft yesterday, been a few years since I've played but bought a couple bits to make the game easier. Had to pay in a disused mine, my tk45c was on fire with the hop change and barrel stabiliser like a laser, I think I surprised a few of the regulars. Mine the 1200 drum mag helped, however both the mag and rif ran out of juice near the end of the third game which was domination with a nuke in the middle. Mk23 was disappointing with the novritsch mags not feeding correctly, very tempted to buy a we g17 when I get my ukara back. Oh and I ran head first into a mine wall, to a trip to a&e was in order 😄 Would have been better to play outside, but the wind put a stop to that.

Great results, well done you ! Yep, I for one find that after a week of dealing with the public going out on a Sunday and shooting people is extremely therapeutic !

Nice one mate, you have worked very hard for it clearly. Airsoft has so many health benefits, even being out and about in nature can reduce blood pressure, although some moments in airsoft don't always do that lol!. HIT! HIT! HIIIIIITTTTTTTT! 🤣 Cheers

Tough day at Imperium. Nobody’s fault but it’s an open grassland site on the coast during a storm. If I hadn’t booked in advance because it was the last Ground War of the year, I wouldn’t have bothered going. Didn’t successfully hit a single person I aimed at all morning (although I did catch a few of their neighbours). Still enjoyed it at points though, as me and a pal managed to do some sneaky stuff collecting the missile objective without being spotted or indeed firing a shot. Still planning for the Battlelakes day on the 7th then I think I’ll have a couple of months off.

Today the lad and I were at an invitation-only day at Airsoft Plantation. Rather than the usual 150-200 players, there were forty of us, plus a group of playing marshals. Unfortunately, due to weather damage in the woods, the planned game could not take place; however, John, who runs the site, quickly came up with a set of alternatives that utilised the rest of the site. The day started badly for me, with my extremely old PTS/Ares Masada committing seppuku while I was setting it up. Given the poor availability of parts for such an ancient and unique RIF, I am not sure that it can be repaired. Therefore, I had to switch to the A&K version of the Masada, which performed valiantly all day. The first game was a simple attack and defence of the recently enlarged village; as the defenders, we had three lives in or touching a building, while the attackers, whose aim was to kill us all, had infinite buddy regens after a 30m fallback. For once, the lad and I started in completely different positions; he was on the left by the lake, while I was on the far right. This game was a good start to the day, with the attackers pressing hard and us resisting strongly, forcing them to take their time. As was to be expected from such an event, the level of play was excellent, with good communications, excellent hit taking and good sportsmanship. Eventually, of course, they killed all of us and took the village. After a short break to refill mags, the game was reversed; the lad and I were on different sides of the advance, with me going down the right and him on the left. I had a few good exchanges with defenders as we broke into the village. When the final defender fell after a gallant stand, we had completed the mission 2 minutes and 14 seconds more rapidly than the blue team. Hurrah! The next game was rather different and was based on part of the originally planned game. Each team was divided into four squads, each of which had part of a code in an envelope. Each player had three lives, after which they had to go to John at the hillfort, whereupon they would be allocated another three lives or given a mission. However, once the player carrying the envelope was hit, they had to hand the envelope to an enemy player, who would take it to John. The winner would be the first team to get all four parts of the enemy's code to John or, if neither team managed this, the team who got most parts of the code to him. The marshals, acting as a UN peacekeeping force on the border between the two teams, would try to keep the peace by shooting at players trying to infiltrate into the other team's territory. Our squad started by trying to flank around the site, coming up behind the enemy's start point at the DEA Base. Having avoided the UN forces, we ran into a large group of the enemy, so fell back in a highly organised manner. After this, the game became gloriously chaotic, with squads disintegrating as casualties were taken and new squads forming from the casualties. Having teamed up with other players for a while, I eventually met up with the lad and some of the rest of our squad near the Boathouse, from where we joined in an attack on the mortar pits. After a lot of wonderfully confused actions, including a small private war against the UN forces, the game came to an end. We had managed to get three elements of the blue team's code to John, while they got only one part of ours to him. Hurrah! Another victory! The lad, who had been carrying our squad's envelope, still had it with him when we got home. Next, we played a convoy game with the blue team forming the first convoy. They had to get their youngest player, who was at the front, to the building at the far end of the main street in the village. As the defenders, we could deploy within 20m of the street. The convoy players had infinite lives, while we had two. The catch was that the blue team could not break formation or shoot until they had been fired on. We decided to let them get just over half way along the street before opening fire. The lad and I positioned ourselves near the start of the street, so that we could deal with the tail of the convoy. Once the shooting had started and the enemy were able to move off the street and move 20m into the village, we harassed them, slowing down their advance and slowly falling back, while carrying out small hit and run attacks on them. Eventually, of course, they completed their mission after wearing down our forces. This was then switched around; the lad and I took up position at the rear of the convoy so that, when the shooting started, we could dash into the village and attempt to roll up the defenders on that side. This worked really well as we and a couple of other players pushed into the village, taking out defenders and supporting the general advance. We completed our mission, unfortunately taking 4 minutes and 12 seconds longer than the blue team. Boo! For a final game, we went to the mortar pits to play last man standing, with the marshals forming the initial attacking team. In this, I got a lovely grenade kill on a group of attacking players who had taken up a position behind the Bedford, lobbing a paper pyro over an earth berm; the cry of "Oh fuck!" just before it went off was very satisfying. This ended a great day of airsoft, played very sportingly with great hit taking. We will definitely attend the next invitation-only game that is organised at AP, if we are invited. I really don't get the current fad of lazer cutting the top flap of closed magazine pouches. Half the benefit of a closed pouch is to keep the water and filth off your mags...

Been working on this. FR Ordnance MC-51SD as made for the SAS/SBS Quite a bit needs altering to fit the mp5sd front to the G3 body. But only obvious mod externally is the charging slot was made longer to accommodate the G3 charging handle. But as no real pics available, it's hard to determine where the cocking lever actually stops on the SD variant. So stopped it just before sling point. Even though normal MC51 had the charging handle stop over the front sight.

Don’t buy the mk18 if you plan to change the handguard. Buy the 14,5" or cqbr version. There are lot of threads on internet about the removal of the mk18 barrel nut and it’s very, very hard to remove it.

Just picked up a TM MWS M4 CQBR BLOCK1 from Fire-Support with 3 extra mags, their 10% offer swayed me 😂 Haven't been this excited about an AR platform for a while!

Don't forget that under section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 any parcel is the seller's responsibility until it's in the buyer's possession (leaving it on the doorstep doesn'tcount). If anything does go wrong then it's the seller's responsibility to chase it up with the courier. Edit: apologies for the double post. I thought the forum would automatically merge them both

The part which gets me is that he's happy to accept f&f. Surely someone who is anti PayPal wouldn't use them at all

His excuses don’t add up to me. sounds like the courier has lost two guns and he’s expecting PayPal to have helped him somehow… I could sympathise with him not wanting to post the RIF after that experience… but PayPal have no control over the postal system and will always side with the buyer if the goods never arrive. on the flip side, what he’s saying is - if it doesn’t arrive, he’s keeping the money and the the buyer is done for.

I would still try changing both the hop unit and the nozzle.

TM Desert Warrior with XC1 Clone and Vorsk VX-9 Grips

Tokyo Marui Hk417 redone as a G27K. This took a bit of work but happy with the result. Parts list: TM HK417 NGRS with Titan, madbull inner barrel and 4uantum friction pro hop rubber and nub. Airsoft Artisan G27K handguard some random front sling loop thing Ultima industries HLOK side rails (74mm) 2 inch barrel extension as the Airsoft Artisan extension doesn't like the TM threads on the flash hider TM HK fat grip (I've got a real one here, just need to find it!) HAO HK curved trigger guard (need to paint) Ares HK flip up rear sight Freedom Art Hk417 sling mount VFC GBB Slim 417 stock heavily modified to fit the TM stock tube and take a lipo.

Not quite finished, but it'll do for now. I need to do a Brownells order to get a magpul angle grip, bipod and QD sling point, all m-lok direct mounts, but for now a few picatinny segments and the accessories from my mk12 MWS will do the job. At a glance it doesn't even look like an HPA gun. Alas, the 3d printed tournament lock on the "buffer tube" and the MTW markings are what gives it away

TM G17 gen5 MOS W/Acro P2 Elite Series Midnight Cerakote

The one in the picture is a SRC SR-SP, which is practically a TM USP clone with a metal slide & support for co2 magazines. QC is a little iffy on them but they have awesome blowback and feel awesome to shoot, although just like my other (now broken) USP9 it struggles a lot in colder weather. If you're keen on trades and want a better performer - the TM's a much better option but keep in mind it uses a plastic slide so if you'd want a metal one you'd have to track down a detonator or nova slide and have it fitted/fit it, and they're rare as hen's teeth & cost a fortune. The base TM is also a bit pricer than the other offers, and much much pricer if you're including the cost of a metal slide if you're so inclined. If you want a metal slide, decent-enough performance and the trades the Umarex (OEM'd by VFC) USP9 is a neat enough option and was what I was using before it shit the bed and stopped working, and considering there's zero information on in anywhere I couldn't fix it, hence why I ended up with the SRC. Second one down's the Umarex/VFC, top is the SRC. Also, a brand new WE P229 which I've just bought, which is lovely.

Star L1A1 with EnglishKiwi 3D printed (SLS) L2A2. Gave the L2 a lick of paint, a couple of labels and a bit of weathering to make it seem a bit aged.

Happy with my little add ons to the gen5 Angrygun MOS plate to accept clone ACRO Clone TLR-1 Pro Arms steel Supressor sights which I surprisingly managed to “white dot” without too much of a mess despite being a tad shakey.

Making the Bow GBB MP5k stock fit an AEG is definitely a 2/10 would not do again but over the moon with the results
