there's a few video's on YT which explain how to check the compression. Those parts look ok. The cylinder head pad has taken a little beating but should still working ok. Also check your bucking and hop chamber.2 points

You need to narrow down where your leak is For example you just compress the piston with cylinder with your palm, and then add the cylinder head and try again, and then add the nozzle and try again Then you will know which part is leaking more or less2 points -

Here you go: https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/silverback-suppressor-foam-set-10x-small-10x-large I've not bought that set myself, instead buying suppressors that come with foam, removing approx half the rings, and interspersing the remaining rings with strips cut from one of those green scourer pads, and then rolled up. I've bought vorsk bbs a few times from various sites and haven't had any problems. Also bio bbs in general have come along way in the past decade. The days of them swelling up at the slightest bit of moisture and shattering in guns are in the past2 points -

With MP5's now starting to be delivered into the UK I thought it would be good to start of thread of people who have got or are wanting to buy the Tokyo Marui MP5 NGRS. Something I saw on Facebook today was that RS handguards fit perfect onto the gun without any modification. RS stocks however will not fit however without modification. Yup, @Pseudotectonic has it right, test each component in isolation by adding them one at a time. And when checking the nozzle seal, check it with the nozzle forwards, not just mashed back against the cylinder head (it helps to use your third hand for this part). A sparing amount of silicon oil or grease can do a great job of improving the seal. This is a wild guess from just looking, but I prefer my piston rings to be slacker than that. You can take the ring off, then stretch it over the cylinder to slacken it up, or replace it with something a little bigger (and stretch that too if you like) - I use 19mm x 2.5mm nitrile.1 point

Ok, well I did get a reply back from them to say they'd find out what went wrong with the order... and then nothing. So I raised a dispute with my bank, and my bank have refunded me the money (and will then presumably proceed to squeeze the same amount out of Extreme Airsoft). I don't think I'll be doing business with them again. On the plus side though, the same item I wanted came back in stock at Patrolbase, and £50 cheaper. And it arrived in two days as promised/1 point -
Sorry just checked on this thread, I’ve went with the ++ as I got it for £44.99 comes Friday, as it’s a new pew I’ve looked inside seems fine had to shim it slightly but everything spot on, mainly looking for battery protection and precocking for that snappy semi, probably post results in case anyone is interested on Saturday. Update: Cut the bar, bent it to a good position, did the trigger Allen bolt all the way up (So it sits as low as possible) and it worked first time. Absolutely buzzing 😂1 point

Should know that it's 1.3J, for an auto-capable gun designed to discharge only small plastic missiles to not be considered a firearm. And it's the capability to discharge a missile of any kind. There's nothing compelling the State to drop in 0.2g BBs, or plastic. The intent of the legislation is to limit lethality: they could drop in steel. Not that I think that they will, but we should strive to be technically correct. Try not to sweat it, @Airsoft84, you're a long way from any sort of trouble. However, if you do get another call or an invitation to attend an interview, I would suggest asking to speak to the duty solicitor at the station before making any more admissions. You could also approach UKAPU for advice.1 point

Wrexham mate it's only about 30 min from me so I'll be going again. It was good its a little strange being thrown in at the deep end with pro and beginners all in together guys with loads of kit and experience and me with little seemed a little harsh as obviously I was at distinct disadvantage. Personally I'd of liked smaller group to begin with as there was a good amount of us doing the rental thing would have been nice eased into it had a smaller game with the newbies together. You felt out gunned and skilled with little to know explaining of what's gonna happen. Obviously regulars knew the course layouts etc etc so had numerous advantages better guns too I think. Seemed a little unfair but still enjoyed the morning. I guess baptism of fire as they say1 point -
