  2. I bought a RIF from the sites classifieds which I'm very happy with, I knew it needed some work & I figured it would be a good first attempt at disassembly, tidy & rebuild as it would be a wall hanger anyway (unless it turned out awesome of course), anyway... it needed a few parts which were very nicely supplied by another site member, they arrived today & as I'm an eager beaver I set about 'fixing' my toy after I got home from work. I'd already stripped it before sourcing the parts I needed and noticed someone else had already been in it's guts to 'upgrade' or 'repair' it in the past. Looks like they'd replaced the piston spring with a longer/stronger one and the spring guide was either the wrong one or the threads were stripped so the whole spring assembly was wedged in with a metal plate cut to size. I've now got an almost complete & almost built Honey Badger that will probably have a fairly hot FPS except for one little issue... the spring, sprung all the way across my mancave and disappeared behind some shelving that I can't be arsed moving at the moment, not a big deal as it was meant to be a wall hanger anyway but... the butt plate screws into the bloody spring guide & three guesses where that is??? Looks like I'll be moving some shelving in my imediate future... DOH!

  5. After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, British scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 200 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 150 years ago. Not to be outdone by the British, in the weeks that followed, an American archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story published in the New York Times: “American archaeologists, finding traces of 250-year-old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network 50 years earlier than the British”. One week later, Australia’s Northern Territory Times reported the following: “After digging as deep as 30 feet in his backyard in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory, Knackers Johnson, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely bugger-all. Knackers has therefore concluded that 250 years ago, Australia had already gone wireless".

  7. Can you use a magnet on a string or one of those telescopic ones? At least its a relatively big thing to find. Just wait until a tiny spring goes flying and you don't know where because it doesn't make any noise when it lands 😫

  9. @MrTea Try the hot water and if it does get you what you want then great, if not then it'd be time to sand. If you do end up going for the sanding id chalk the inside of the holster and the press the m9 in and out, then sand off the areas where the chalk has been run rubbed or marked up

You've already made an account here so why are you asking for offers through email when there is a very easy messaging system in place here?

I don't think you'd be far off with £100, I've certainly seen the TM MP7's with similar faults asking for a lot more! If anything I feel you may be undervaluing it a bit, I can see the going retail rate is around £250-£260. So maybe £150 with the magazines? As it's an intermittent fault, could be an easy fix for someone with some knowhow?

  22. Just arrived this morning: WE Samurai Edge Gen 2 bought from @Daveoc33 <- big thanks. The mag is gas tight as it still arrived with some left for me to fire it full auto for the giggles. This thing is clean with very few signs of wear. Stripped it already and the inner barrel looks like it's never had a BB through it. I plan on clear-coating the emblems on the pistol grips to preserve them as i've heard these can wear away quickly. One issue i've noticed is that it looks like the hop isn't being applied centrally (when looking down the barrel) so I probably need to strip the hop unit and have a play with it however i'm going to replace the bucking with a new one due to the potential age of the stock one plus buckings have likely massively improved since this was released.

    Tell Us a Gag. Please!

An Amish woman and her daughter were riding in an open buggy one cold, blustery January day. The daughter said to the mother, "My hands are freezing cold." The mother replied, "Put your hands between your legs, the body heat will warm them up." So the daughter did, and her hands warmed up. A few days later, the daughter was riding in the buggy with her boyfriend. The boyfriend said, "My hands are freezing cold." "Put them between my legs," she said, "they'll warm up." The next day, the young couple is riding in the buggy again when he says, "My nose is freezing cold." The daughter figures to use the same method as yesterday and says, "Put it between my legs, it will warm up." He did, and his nose quickly warmed up. Again, the next day, they were driving and he told her, "My penis is frozen solid." She once again, gave her standard advice. Later that day, the daughter is driving in the buggy with her Mother. She asked, "Mother, have you ever heard of a penis?" The slightly concerned Mother replied, "Sure, but why do you ask?" The daughter answered, "Well, I just wondered......do they always make such a big mess when they thaw out?"

  27. I signed up to their newsletter for this latest release. In case anyone hasn't seen it they sent me a PDF of three different installation methods. I've tried attaching images of the PDF to this post but the forums won't have it. I've uploaded it to Mega so you can look at the PDF here; https://mega.nz/file/RsFiBS6S#E0Js44LnGw0AaGamF86znhqfHrMWgQ6D03Lz-1sr-OE

  28. Ladies and gentlemen, A moments peace for the passing of an MB02 rif. It came to me damaged and after a small recovery period and some surgery, managed to sustain itself well. With the addition of parts, it came back to life and its greatest achievement was registering 408fps. Unfortunately the second set of sears gave up and mullered the piston, rendering it a wall hanger and ending any interest in "bolt actions" in our household. It carried a donor card and its barrel has been donated to be used in several pistols. A dim light extinguished. Now, wheres my Aug....

Here: https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/category/17-guns-wanted/ I mean, we say that, but since these "Sell me gnu" posts never get taken down, they do seem about as effective.
