The Mk.V Sten was produced in 1944 when the threat from Nazi Germany was less immediate, these were a better quality version of the MkII, with a wooden pistol grip, fore grip and stock with brass butt-plate and cleaning tools chamber inside the stock. A No 4 Lee-Enfield foresight and a bayonet mount were also fitted (will fit a no.4 or no.7 bayonet if you have one) used primarily by airborne paratroopers from the 1st and 6th Airborne. Northeast are in our opinion the best WW2 replica firearm manufacturer next to Shoei Japan. All steel construction, to the correct dimensions and gauge! If you want a 'real' Sten that's also great fun to disassemble and shoot, then this awesome airsoft replica was made for you. Almost completely hand built, by craftsmen, including genuine brass buttplate and storage area for the including genuine plastic/baker lite oil bottle. Authentic markings/trades, field strips jus like the real thing and kicks almost as hard - selling as brand new as it’s only fired one magazine and I can’t justify keeping it around just to sit on my shelf - this beauty deserves to be used! 4. To be honest, my heart did sink when I saw the dent and if it had been a U.K. or European store it would be going back. But it’s just way to much hassle to try sending it back to an Aliexpress store in China. So I’ve made my peace with it 😏 I’ve got a 416 with the Geissele rail for the Jason Hayes look, but I’ve been after a Clay 416 as well. I’ll get pictures posted when it arrives and it’s kitted up. In the mean time I’ve stuck it on my TM M4 URG-I.

  7. "Joule creep" is what happens when you use ammo that works more efficiently with the system. It may be a bit of a buzz word/phrase but it can make people more aware of the effects of changing ammo weight, and most of the time that's a good thing.

  8. Yeah was gutted that I couldn't use it. Yeah, trimmed the spring and it now shoots a nice 2.28 joules on 0.45g

    Kit for the Ukraine .

As I said in my post after speaking with someone who’s actually supplying the Ukrainians with surplus kit they desperately want plate carriers and load bearing vests for the militia units and are making their own plates in country for the ones without plates . Plus to be fair you would have to be a bit of a thick twat to think they’d want your ‘onetigris’ fast helmet and your Nuprol ‘navy seal vest’ you got from ‘BBGunzisbestest.com’ that cost you all of 30 quid the lot ?

  11. afaik aren't the current tippmanns semi-only? i recall something about only the early versions being auto capable, but slap a big citation needed on that. that said the owners i've talked to all seem to like them. one thing to bear in mind with conversions is what engine is being used, as that will define a lot about the ability to dial it in to good performance. eg open bolt systems like the polarstar jack/f1 have fundamental problems with getting good consistency compared to closed bolt systems like the f2/fusion- worth checking what's in the evo you're looking at. the wolverine systems claim closed bolt, but i've not used them enough to comment fairly on how they perform. i wouldn't be too worried about conversion, it's a relatively easy process (compared to aeg teching anyway) and for the most part nozzle alignment isn't too bad if the gearbox used is correct for the bodyshell (ie you started with a complete donor gun). normally nozzle alignment gets talked about with regards to the likes of the fusion engine, which as a total gearbox replacement has the same "compatible ish" fitment problems that you'd get with an aftermarket aeg gearbox. the mid cap problem is easy to solve- get an odin

  13. Our local neighbourhood association are arguing about whether we should complain about the woman next door. She spends half her time sunbathing naked in her garden. I'm on the fence myself.

    Gun picture thread

Oh yes it does ! it counts from 95 down to zero its designed to use short Thompson mags of which the Hi-caps hold 200 . You fill the mag load it in start shooting it , it hits zero you pull the mag out a wee bit push it back in ,,,,,,,,,,,,AND it re-sets to 95 so basically you’ve got an accurate round counter ! 😍
