I got a dodgy mk23 barrel (right hooking shots) off them once. I ended up having to ring them. Spoke to me like I was the issue. You literally can't put a mk23 barrel in wrong an shot straight again when returning to the original barrel which I did a couple of times to be sure. Had to push a little to return, and have the post plus the post it cost me to return as I wasn't gonna be £5 out of pocket for them sending me a flawed barrel. Even then had to poke them for my refund after they had received it. It wasn't great but I got my money back eventually.

For £200 I'd want a Chinese orphan to pop out and zero it in for me every game. Well, the usual suggestion. If you're not completely happy, invoke your statutory right to cancel the contract, no debate, no reason, just money back. If there's the slightest ambiguity in who's responsible for getting it back to them, or if they don't respond, then instruct your payment processor to initiate a chargeback. The sooner you do this, the sooner it will get resolved in your favour.

So for those that dont know im an armoursmith/ blacksmith and ive decided to take on a gun project using these skills. Specifically the ultimax 100 mk 5 because I love the ultimax but Id also like to be able to use my regular m4 mags and that version has a magwell. Made a mockup so far. A v3 gearbox sits about perfect in this but on the real one the upper and lower recievers are welded together. If I did this Id never be able to get the gearbox out. Im probably gonna try to make it in a way that means the rear end cap can come off and the recievers can come apart. One of the main reasons I chose this gun is because its basically just 90 degree boxes for most of the reciever. Ill probably just be brazing on other pieces of metal for all those details on the side of it. Evetything else will be hammered out of 2-3mm steel. I will probably also be getting a friend to 3d print some of the brackets and internal parts for the barrel and hop. Should be a fun project.

Pretty Meh! day today..was good this morning and had fun using the MTW setup as DMR on 0.4's and testing out the new Scopecam 2. Switched over to the WE AK74UN for the afternoon game, but things went downhill...gamemode was attack and defend on the whole field..but was not fun fighting on a 30Degree bank and people were tired/grumpy and being twats...a lot of full auto into people going on. Decided to call it quits with about an hour to go as wasn't fun at all....Which is the first time ever that I've walked off a field. Complained to the marshals, but having only 2hrs sleep the night before, may have dampened my mood for the day...and but mid afternoon I just got fed up with the snail pace gameplay and people being twats...I think about a dozen peeps also had the same idea and quit. Oh the AK74 ran great and the Ra-Tech heavy recoil kit kicks ass...was a lot of fun playing with it before things went south on the playing field. (Having to pick your shots with only a 30rnd mag is nerve racking...buy satisfying as well)

I've decided I'm selling up. Airsoft has lost its lustre to me recently I've also put in a request to leave the moderation team, so I'll be a regular Joe soon enough.
