Ok, so in yet a final display of incompetence, UPS have actually managed to fulfill their primary function as couriers by delivering my rifle, intact and working, a full day earlier than what is stated on their tracker and in contravention of my wish to have it redelivered on Friday. This incompetence is fortunate but yet again underlines how utterly useless their system of passing data between various apps and business functions actually is. On a side note - please see picture below - yet I still had to fill in their bullshit firearms form.....never again.....

Each to their own, but HPA?🤮 In fairness I have never shot one, Is see the appeal. And would be good for speedsoft I guess but for me personally the realism combined with performance that you get with the MWS is just perfect to me.

Truth be told, a CTR looks great on a airsoft gun. But for practicality you can’t beat a PTS enhanced stock. And best of all you can stick a big mother of a battery in it.

A few bits for my NGRS and another Ferro Slingster, this one in M81. I hate that fall for such marketing tactics as ‘limited editions’, but I needed a sling for the AKSU and find M81 hard to resist at the best of times.

Not had a chance to use it in a game yet but could not resit wearing it out for a walk with the dogs in the hills, the carbon fibre like martial in the cummband is amazing and the fact the shoulder straps are part of the plate bag spread the weight out so much better. The SPC might look like a JPC but is on another level in comfort when you start adding even light weight to it. if you have to be a tart and wear plate bags rather than a chest rig, you have to give the SPC a go.

Guys looks like we have entered the Matrix with this one. How many for sale 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thing about BBs is the OEMs are all hush hush. People say Geoffs are the best. Well that’s what I’ve heard so that’s what I believe. But are they? Are they really the best? I mean Geoffs don’t manufacture right? They just repackage from an OEM right? Or do they actually manufacture? I’ve heard BLS are superb too. Yet don’t see many places selling them? Are they an OEM? Some people say Lomgbow are awesome too. Again the same questions. All these three brands are more expensive than the average brand so do we assume they are more superior in quality. You get what you pay for? Ok we know Nuprol are bollocks yet they cost more than similar quality brands.

Ares BBs seem to be the floor sweepings: I tested some bio BBs a while back and the 0.25g Nuprols actually seemed pretty reasonable, however the 0.20g Nuprols I tested were a quite soft & easy to deform. I guess how good/bad they are probably varies by weight/composition/whether they're bio or not as well as from batch to batch etc... The G&G 0.25s seemed ok but I found air bubbles in some of them. Geoffs seem to be the best overall out of all of the BBs I tested (I did notice they were a little on the softer side, but didn't think they were soft enough to be concerned about... that may be an issue for GBBRs though).

Decided to dive in and changed out the spring in the VSR. Laylax sp130 came out, Laylax sp90 and 4 tensioners went in. Consistent and spot on 1.1J on .48s for no MED. Granted, it's a backup for if my HPA VSR has a tantrum, but I figured I'd give the 1.1J bolt action a go.

Truthfully it may well be going of for the folks at Eagle6 to do, I'd rather pay someone with experience of doing it right than potentially bodge it myself and wind up having to source (and foot the bill for) more parts. Also spares me the burden of the rewiring and what not, this is my first AEG in years so as much as I'll be looking to figure out how to do the tech work myself I'm more inclined to do that on RIFs without such a high price tag. But yeah, these days I'd always go genuine article over repro stuff. Just a personal preference, nothing against folks that opt for the repro kit. One of the biggest fallacies in airsoft is that all repro kit is bad... equally matching that is that all repro kit is good. Very much a case by case basis, but sorting the good from the bad will often wind up costing you as much as it would have to just buy the genuine stuff.

Yessir. In the grand scheme of stocks there are ones I definitely prefer over the CTR (BCM Gunfighter and B5 Systems), but it seems hard to beat in terms of a battery solution for the NGRS.

North West Custom Parts, I will note that the payment process is a little odd. You add to your cart, complete the order and then do a bank transfer to the chap that runs the shop. I was cautious at first but I've ordered a few stocks from him and they've all arrived in good time. Edit: For clarity, the stock was from NWCP, the extended buttpad and PTS grip from Firesupport and the sling and magpuls from Tactical Kit.

Totally agree, you can't beat warrior kit.... it's absolutely superb.......

Got my MC Warrior DCS to use outdoor, absolutely quality bit of kit. Unfinished, needs a few more patches and pouches, but getting there. Was always sceptical about Warrior kit but certainly worth the money, echo the buy cheap buy twice stuff others say.

This has always been the case. It's always been cheaper but more hassle to order from abroad, we just got used to quite a smooth process built up over a number of years ironing out the kinks. Still...blue passports. Oddly, it might actually be easier to order in from China once the whole pandemic thing is FINALLY under control. Hong Kong already has a reciprocal tax agreement with the UK so in theory at least it should be similar to what we had with the EU. It'll take longer and potentially cost more to ship, but I seem to remember a time when if you didn't buy from the UK you were buying from places like Redwolf, RSOV etc.

I would only order one outside the UK if it really was very cheap and you do not mind fixing any issues. The nightmare it will be to return an item under warranty is not worth it. Unless the supplier is fully set up for it you could end up paying further duties to send it and then on return let alone the high shipping costs.

Got bush!? New Magpul stock and a Nightstrike Diamondback angled fore grip! You can't really see it but it looks like this: Very comfortable with a lot of different grip options!

Fixed it! The phoenix hop unit has a collar inside it that adjusts bucking lip tension. This collar had jammed forward, making it incredibly difficult to poke a BB through the bucking. So after a strip down and rebuild, I adjusted the tension and got a nice steady FPS with only 2-3 FPS variance. No jumps in FPS and no need to double tap! Very happy! Game on!!
