Don't worry about the size of pics, mate: it's a picture thread and basically, if people can't afford broadband, they can't afford airsoft4 points

To be realistic get either a Helmet that is too small or so one so huge and vast that it sits at a jaunty angle every time you move - bonus points for a musty odor.3 points

No not yet, but now that I have a Contour and GoPro set up I'm going to start and hopefully get a channel going.3 points

Mk6/Mk7 British helmets.

Size large Mk6 will fit you fine.2 points -
That's a Kobra clone above - they are not easy to find. I got that 1 from dualdealshop on fleabay, but they don't have them in stock anymore. KH_Mountain used to have them too, but i think they are OOS too. I have used a C-More style RDS on a side mount rail too: ...from JS Ramsbottom here. This 25mm type works well on the top rail of an AK RIS too. If I hadn't finally managed to get a Kobra clone (I was looking for one for about 9 months) I was going to add some plastic or aluminium to the sides of this C-More style one and a tube for the sun-shield to make it look more like a Kobra... but fortunately I finally had money when dualdealshop got some stock: woohoo!2 points

This is my G&G Short Raider yall have heard so much about. Hopefully won't be too hot for The Mall tomorrow... Got a Rogers SuperStoc, Safariland torch, Safariland Single Point Harness & Adapter, some generic green laser sight with a pressure pad, a B&T tracer unit/silencer, and a short DBoys M203 on this gun. Also included is a pic of my gun bag with my primary, the Raider, as well as my secondaries; a WE P226 and G17. My backups there include two ACM guns, an MP40 (really going along to chronograph, won't use it) and a P90.2 points -

Bolt action sniper trigger not working
Thomas Grant reacted to ikarma70 for a topic
Try backing the stock screw nearest the trigger off a bit. Seen this on spring air rifles where a screw was too long and block the trigger mech off.1 point -
The HFC Mk23 socom is quite good. It's a clone of the TM version but not as good. http://www.onlybbguns.co.uk/airsoft/airsoft-pistols/hfc-hg-302-mk23-airsoft-gas-pistol.html#.VOovknysU3k1 point

Quite true, they did just spontaneously pop up without notice. I personally think they're great, but it's all down to personal preference. You have to get the gun right though, it's a big bulky sight and will look ridiculous on quite a few guns I'd imagine. It looks nice on my Marui Scar-L and my LMT. However I couldn't say it would look nice on let's say, an MP5 or other submachine guns/ PDW's. In terms of performance it's wonderful though. Ten levels of brightness and no red/ green laser business, just a good, clear, pinpoint red dot. Adjusted by Allan screws so no stupid flathead adjustments or covers to loose. Obviously being a large sight the window is very large too which I personally like. Doesn't restrict target acquisition and let's you see clearly down range and great for close encounters too. Built to work with 3x magnifiers too so you can throw on a Aimpoint 3x magnifier and be on your way. Full metal, solid as a rock, can't go wrong. Just a bit pricy..1 point

do you have a youtube channel? would love to see some of the footage from that contour roam 21 point -
Your list is fine but you don't need the gears, cyma gears are more than strong enough to run M140 and above, you will want a steel cut off lever as the standard ones are made of cheese and a guarder air nozzle and a bearing spring guide I've built a couple of these recently including one for myself which is working lovely now1 point

Gun picture thread
cavninja reacted to Airsoft-Ed for a topic
Been a while since I even visited this thread, let alone posted a photo. Just packing the kit for tomorrow and thought there was something immensely satisfying about the compactness of my SCAR, and I thought it looked pretty boss from this angle too. So here's an unbelievably high quality shot from my toaster:1 point -
Promoting sales threads in "Recent Status Updates"?
DX115FALCON reacted to two_zero for a topic
It just don't seem right to me. The thread is already in sales, and one can bump it. If everyone did that, it seems to me, that the "Recent Status Updates" would become very chaotic - then should it really be allowed? Nothing personal towards anyone1 point -

So long as this was within 14 days of receiving the item, (which it obviously is in your case, as you haven't received it) you have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (superseded the old Distance Selling Regs) Them claiming a 20% restocking fee for an item not dispatched is illegal and you need to tell them! Post 14 days they are within their rights to and have no obligation to accept the item back. But as you have paid and they have not dispatched, you are covered. As per always don't just take legal advice from some faceless moron on t'internet, go off and do your own research on the CCR. But a strongly worded letter, threatening small claims court for breech of cantract and CCR breeches would be my next priority.1 point -

Airsoft_Mr B reacted to Chock for a topic
They're not the best it has to be said, however, they are correct in stating that they do need sufficient evidence that you are from a post production company or similar in order for the sale to be legal (typically a letter on the company stationery detailing the production the thing is for) and it does say that on their checkout page as far as I'm aware. I work for a post production company too, and even though that means I could certainly use that status to purchase realistic imitation firearms for the special effects I produce, I know that it is a pain in the ass to provide that info, so I instead use my UKARA registration number. Frankly however, I would have just bought an orange BB gun, sprayed it matt black and then done all the other necessary visuals in After Effects if I were you.1 point -
Need Ideas
Airsoft_Mr B reacted to Undieing_Lust for a topic
Airsoft is 20% gameplay 80% fashion show. But having said that... You dont need everything with you. It will just slow you down and you will get tired quickly, Its fair enough if you want to look like a certain group or whatever. But in airsoft its completely useless even in big milsim games. You would use bolt cutters maybe once? Real operators carry that stuff for a reason...They NEED it. But if you want some ideas I will oblige. Map of the area that you play in for giving out grid ref over the radio. Make your own if you need to. That's what I do. Screwdriver + Bits. Tourniquet ( For the love of god don't use one unless you know what the hell you are doing.) Chem Lights GPS MOAR Carabiners1 point -

Upgrading my rifle
Kommandant_Epicness reacted to Colonel Kurtz for a topic
looks like a B500A1, or one in the same range, which i can confirm from personal experience would require you to saw the flash-hider off, same again for the stock pole. inside it's all cheap plastic, but it's balanced as it's all cheap plastic. As others have said, any upgrades is pointless, as you'll have to do the whole thing or you'll have an imbalanced gun that will tear itself apart very quickly. upgrading all it's internals is more expensive than just buying a new better gun anyways It'll do you fine for CQB, and no doubt provide much pleasure when hitting people wearing/using about £1k of equipment. you might get picked off at range abit in woodland sites, but you have to remember it's only firing a plastic ball at people and the difference between airsoft guns is largely academic compared to the difference in how you use one (pointing it in the right direction etc hehe) Guess you're best off sticking with it until your parents are convinced you're dedicated enough to the hobby to merit another gun.1 point -
Nice but still pretty basic. Their stuff like the msr, AW. 338, pgm and DSR would have been better choices lol heck even the KAC lmg would've been a good choice. More of a wow factor.1 point
