So following on from Crimbo, here's my updated load-out.... Camo paint, krylon tan, dark brown olive green and forest green, done by myself. Pistol, TM Sig Saur P226, fitted with a full Guarder metal kit, (body, slide and barrel + springs) and an ACM laser/light.

I've had stuff off 'BB gun' sites and literally never had any problems, in fact, service has been pretty good actually from both Only BB Guns and Just BB Guns. Although I would only recommend buying off them if you know that what you are after is actually a decent product, because they do sometimes talk up mediocre products, and the reviews on the sites are not to be relied upon. But if you know the product is okay and the price is good, then all you are really doing is shopping around. Specifically, I've had all these items off BB sites with no issues whatsoever: a DBoys M4, a Well GBB MP5K, a Black Viper AK12, a Unicorn Hobbies AKS74U, a Kimber GBB 1911, a Well D69 carbine, a springer SKS (that one is crap, but I knew that when buying it, because it is for a project), a Mossberg 500 tactical shotgun, spare GBB 1911 mags, green gas, 5,000 .2g Bulldog BBs (those BBs weren't that great admittedly, I wanted to check the brand out. They weren't terrible, I did actually use them, but wouldn't get em again as there are certainly better brands out there).

Stuff doesn't get delivered broken afaik, but their service and so on is bad. They also lie about features / construction of some guns. For example saying they have metal gearboxes when they don't. But I wouldn't expect them to help out if the gun breaks unlike proper airsoft retailers.

Don't encourage him! He'll never end up with a working gun on an airsoft site at this rate!

I got shut of two of my loadouts to get Atacs FG and its decent. Really like it. The two things I hate about it though is the price for some of the kit and the fact there's not much available with different bits.

WAW was my favorite COD defiantly. Unfortunately now every server is infested with hackers. I really hope treyarch do return to a WW2 setting, with next gen graphics and a ridiculously huge budget im sure it would be a great game

Thanks Ian. I've gone with a £16 clone T6 off ebay for now as I cannot yet make up my mind on the branded torches. Went for one without all the frills, not a fan of 5+ mode torches. Will see how I get on with it and decide if a proper tactical torch is really needed.

They're not made for airsofting so It's not a massive surprise. Give ESS glasses a go, you can drive over them or fire a shotgun at them and they won't let anything through.

On the subject of smoking: Just out to shops earlier in my car and found out where the end of my cig went that fell off when I was driving back from skirmish yesterday: This occurred whilst I was trying to avoid some dickhead in a shiny new black Range Rover, who was driving like a complete tit on the motorway. He was about two inches off my back bumper flashing his lights onto main beam repeatedly, apparently because I was doing fifty mph on the section of the M61 with a speed limit of, you guessed it, fifty. Little hole burnt in the edge of the sun visor. No big deal, ditching that car in about two months anyway. Guess that driver in his shiny new sixty grand RR was another case of 'all the gear and no idea' lol.

I sometimes have a smoke during a game but its more often during a brief or on way back to the safe zone although I did smoke during a game but burnt my lip so I dont do that unless hanging around waiting when I'm in fire support role

Oh i dunno, i've put my 1/2 face on top of my head to have a fag in game before - long games with long walks to regen, that kind of thing, but also whilst just giving myself time to recover from running while at regen i've been known to spark up. In theory it's not allowed at Skirmish, because it's woodland... and pyro's are less likely to cause fires? My hole. So i do it anyway.

just popped in coz on hol is US atm - life's a 8itch I know Blimey - TWA is Croydon Surrey not Twickenham. Alas there are one or two of younger players there who have a tendency not to take hits straight away My local site and it can get frustrating to the more serious players I know. It is on my doorstep and I tend not to take it too seriously - but I do like to think I take hits - think coz it means f*ck all to me in mega serious terms (I know I am crap so I often call it even if unsure where as others tend to ignore a "possible" or "was that a bb ?" tap on them) Usually if somebody reports non-hits then marshalls Pete,John, Simon & Sam will test out their GBB pistols on them quite regularly But there is perhaps 1 or 2 that may not play fairly as others I will admit - f*cking shame coz it can ruin it for others and think that some of the more serious or skilled players have maybe gone to the more serious sites like Sandpitt or Mall etc... Really sorry there was more to$$ers than usual, normally it ain't mega mega bad non-hit takers but you always get 1 or 2 in many places I think It is a cheap & cheerful site - but I must admit the DMR sounds bollox to me coz they really are so hot on safety, everything chrono's so can't work out why they woulkd of let somebody use higher fps with easy auto option & not locked to semi - that really amazes me They say you gotta know wtf MED is all about before they will allow you to use it And have seen first hand them kick peeps off for the slightest bending of safety guidelines Well none of that crap yesterday was me coz was over in Orlando - ahh well seriously - I'm sorry you didn't have a great game at my local and it was a bit of a w@nk perhaps try other sites if the cheap & cheerful TWA is not for you Next time if anybody gives me & son a shout then I can try & ensure I'm on enemy team and will be the perfect hit taking twat for you to shoot at Happy New Year anyway - shoot ya later

More decent content for TF2. Valve have dropped the ball recently on it and the community isn't too impressed about it. Judging by how well the community has carried on since 2008/9 and how much it's grown, I think TF2's community has a lot of clout when it comes to dealing with Valve. Also some changes to World of Tanks. There's supposed to be some big mechanics changes and an engine update next year.

Lets be honest grown men shooting each other with toy guns isnt exactly the social norm, but its fun so who cares. So what if everyone isnt a super spec op killing machine, tagging every one just because they have expensive guns. it doesnt matter it just for fun.

Thought it was just me being the odd one out, seriously considered quitting airsoft last time I attended and I didn't even get to play mate - the atmosphere of snobbery and wierd seriously made me question what I was doing lol. Try another site next time maybe? And learn to be stealthy. Once you start hitting the guys with expensive guns you'll feel better about it, just don't let idiots spoil it. As for non hit takers, if you are 100% sure you're hitting them then have a quiet word with the marshalls, don't get into a slanging match.
