  1. Hi all I know this is a pretty general problem but I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions specifically with regards to removing a rail system, as pictured? Just the on the left seems to have worn away so I can't remove it Thanks in advance. J

Thanks, didn't realise there was a new one, I have the other two haha

  4. Thank you mate, from reading that I can see where I've gone wrong, exactly the same problem as Lewis. So I bought the wrong adapter (for 'A' clamp as suspected and not the 'DIN' fitting) basically and it looks like the one listed there will do, should they get them back in stock Cheers again
  5. Hi all, Long time since last posted. Bought a 4L tank today for my Tippmann and immediately saw that it didn't have an 'A' type valve (used on older <300bar setups from what I'm told) that my adaptor is for. Having realised this I questioned it and they have advised me you should be able to buy an adapter to fit a HPA tank but I don't have any more information other than that? Hoping anyone might possibly be able to shed any more light on this? Thanks in advance J
  6. I do know there is a replica by 'Big Dragon', they called it the Hell Angel. Used to be listed on AirsoftClub but cannot find it at the moment, hope the name might help with finding one. https://moderncombatsports.co.uk/products/scuba-air-tank-refill-station?variant=39990245328 and will be getting one of these: http://www.roho.co.uk/watersports/3-Litre-300-bar-Air-Gun-Cylinder-With-Filling-Kit.html
  7. Cool! Cheaper than I expected, but that makes me suspect it is one of the 'value' versions of Ops Core helmets without the proper adjustment (I forgot what it's called). Still, I've been looking at mandible attachments for a high cut and they are £50 alone? I think it goes without saying just don't trust the face shield at all what with it protecting your eyes and all.
  8. Sorry mate, I meant a tanker stock as in a retractable one like these Don't know if you can get an actual tank stock for em.
  9. Depends on the weapon light if it will fit the holster properly. I bought this emerson one but haven't really used it yet. Another option could be this which is really similar, basically the same thing
  10. I thought I'd put up a better photo of my Tippmann. Will be getting a tanker stock (TTRTec) to finish it off, at some point.
  11. Hi all, Can anyone help to explain what I have done here? I'm sure I put the upper receiver back together as it should be, but the recoil block comes way too far out the back. I don't have my HPA tank filled atm so switched back to CO2 and it looks like it punctured the bulb and yet didn't release any gas, and the thing won't shoot at all. Hope you guys might have some suggestions but obviously I can provide more info if needed to resolve. Thanks J
  12. I think there is a breakdown in a clause of the VCR Act it specifies bright orange, bright blue etc. But basically yes as everyone else has said it just has to be 50% brightly coloured. Technically it should also be solid yes
  13. I don't know about the vibration on the TM Recoil Shock but on gas guns cheaper optics won't always work because of that. So you will want to go with something like the Vector Optics.
  14. Newly painted Tippmann + 10.3" barrel.
  15. I have had the same problems, and I was getting the right sizes. Best I've found so far are the Mechanix Fast Fits but not a lot of others fit so well.
  16. You will want a speedloader no matter which way you are loading. There is only really one design as far as I know, for pistol compatible ones. I have a Tokyo Marui one and found it is far superior to the all white label versions.
  17. Anyone used a FAST helmet mandible? e.g. this Is cheek weld bad? And by 'Ops Core Highcut' does anyone think/know it'd work for the Maritime, too?
  18. Thanks dude! I have sort of decided to keep it at the stock length for now, but I'm keeping this in mind if it means it's any easier and/or cheaper. Installed my Prommy Purple last night as the stock bucking was knackered anyway, next investment will be the drop in flat hop from ID then
  19. Gonna have to recommend staying away from Plastidip. I consider myself decently adept at spray painting, but couldn't get it to work well for me. Now to start over again with std Krylon as usual. A bit frustrated as I'd meant to paint my Tippy for ages soon as the weather was alright and have had it disassembled in anticipation.

I'd only recommend Plastidip as the most temporary of temporary coatings. It doesn't fit the use-case for airsoft in the slightest :S

  20. To my knowledge the main problem, if not the only one, with (WE) 1911s is because they have small size magazines. So, you can't get a lot of gas into them. On the other hand, if you have a CO2 one, they are more efficient / have more power, and you should get all your shots out. Similarly, because Tokyo Maruis are polymer, you don't use as much power -and therefore a smaller amount of gas- to cycle the slide. In turn, they are better for performance because you can empty a full mag and more with them but not almost universally with every metal-slide green gas 1911. The fact that they have very good accuracy anyway, being TMs is another reason they are liked but this stands for probably everything they make and a unique reason that makes them better than the others (of the 1911 model). Hope that helps as a bit of an explanation.
