In order of usefulness: Sling - being able to drop your gun so you can use your hands and have it still across your chest is so useful in more circumstances than I can even remember, but most obviously climbing ladders, through windows, or crawling, but also something as simple as explaining where the enemy are to other people; plus having part of the weight taken by a sling helps - even if you are strong, it's the reps that do you in, so holding your gun up all day takes it out of your biceps... Sling Mount - your AEG's hang for comfort and ease of use can be greatly improved by where the sling attaches and what shape the mount is. Vertical Foregrip - holding horizontal handguards requires your wrist to be rotated almost as far as it goes, which can cause an ache after a whole day, but a vert grip allows a much more comfortable wrist position. Angled Foregrip (AFG) &/or Gas Peddle / Hand Stop / Magwell Grip - some people find these better than a vert grip. Grip-pod - combined vert grip & bipod - can be useful, especially if defending a trench or other fixed position where you are not going to move far until you get hit, but on the sort of gun which you wouldn't ordinarily put a bipod on. Some of the tube type which have 2 legs spring out below have really crappy plastic legs which snap unless you use them very carefully. Red Dot Sight - as Ed said, allows faster target acquisition. You need to get one which has a fairly bright dot to be useful outdoors, so the type which have variable brightness settings are probably best, unless you can get the same type someone tells you is bright enough. Torch - you don't need to spend fortunes / Ultrafire is a cheap Chinese brand but the Cree XML T6 LED they use is the same as used in more expensive brands. The C8 model is a pretty good all rounder, but the type with a zoomable bezel is probably better as a weapon mounted torch, even though it is not quite as bright as the C8, due to having less reflector than the C8. Rail Covers - can stop sharp edges wearing away at your clothing/equipment, but you should not be holding your AEG by a rail anyway, so it shouldn't matter to your hands - and you should also have gloves on... Lasers - if your local sight allows green ones then they can be used outside and can be useful to show someone else where an enemy is hiding, but they're not really much use as a target designator to use in conjunction with your own sight. Red ones are not bright enough in daylight outdoors and indoors you are unlikely to need to paint a target location for somebody else. Noob Tube - AKA nade launcher - funny to burst into a room and let go with 108 BB's in 1 pop, but doesn't achieve anything full auto wouldn't.

I'd go g&p every time. It's easier to get a G&p to perform as well as a g&g than change all the externals to get a g&g to not feel like a toy. And it's not like a G&p doesn't shoot well ootb either

Hi there names Barry and after promising to have ago at Airsoft , Finally got round to it and loved it !!! Have been shooting Air rifles for a few years carrying out pest control for various permissions i have on the Isle Of Wight. Was also a regular Paintballer for a while untill the " Hunting " took over !!!. so maybe buy a cheap eotech, honestly everyone says the clones are exactly the same as the branded ones, you can pick them up for £30. how much mney you willing to spend. Ideally you want a LiPo (mine cost £20 and is a beast) and you will need a cranestock, I will get the link for mine. Also you need a smart charger, I use the accucel digital 6 that can charge everything from lead acid to LiFe and everything in between. It has an LCD display and is brilliant. that will set you back £70 including the battery (although you can get cheaper) which is what I run, seriously good setup IMO.. You want some mags, probably mid caps you will find (not so annoying as winding up Hi caps) and as monty said either a molle plate carrier or something along the lines. If I were you I would get the gun, good gear and everything else meaning that if you want to buy another gun, you have everything you need for that as well, instead of spending a huge amount on one gun. That mask is fine although it may steam up quite a bit.

Wow - no BLOD PS4's, or that new error code where PS4 owners can't connect to PSN as for severe overheating problems - lol they are BOTH using AMD's and AMD's are always running hotter than say Intel's are in PC how long have you worked for Sony ??? Yes Microsoft have LOADS of RROD on 360 and first Xbone's did have the rattley drive problem BUT Sony customer supports sucks and has only got worse after PS3 and the arrival of PS4 Kept trying to pass the butt on my 2nd BLOD - finally relenting and saying send it back and maybe in about 2 weeks we will get a replacement out to you - wtf ??? I'd say hold off on the sling just yet, ain't as if you carrying a M249 with ya you say cqb and the plastic/abs raider - hardly gonna kill ya too much even if all day and cqb most of time it will be out ready checking corners etc..... have a look at what other players have with their AEG's, great icebreaker to get chatting about nice gun/sling........ you got mounts on end of RIS & at end receiver/crane stock if you look carefully you can add another sling mount on stock near butt if you want to but you could end spending £15 or so on a sling that is not comfortable or ideal get a quick detach one as almost any sling my restrict quick peeking left with you shooting from left hand side to limit you exposing yourself - snigger naked airsoft - be ok if more ladies joined in I guess hold up on sling perhaps n check what everybody else is using and get their feedback on them

Yes Berets are a touchy subject due to the 'right' to wear one. But on a more practical note you will never usually see a soldier wearing a beret in the field (note usually). Berets are not practical field wear and in my opinion shouldn't been worn in the field unless ordered to do so. You are much better off with a bush hat (boonie) or a beanie hat (woolen style cap)
