Bought a Magpul MBUS rear sight and a Buffertube Foam cover, will be running my MWS CQBR without a buttstock until I get a Magpul CTR.

Just can't bring myself to continue using the cheap plastic, hollow crane-stock it came with as it completely ruins the immersion for me.

Don't know if you've ordered a CTR already but Powair6 are well worth checking out for Magpul stuff. Having said that, you may need to bump the order up to avoid excess charges, and HMRC looked liked they'd fucked the packaging prison-style when mine was delivered, but everything was fine. Good service too.

You going FDE for the stock? How you finding the trigger guard?

I've ordered from powair6 a few times for MP7 mags and had good experiences surprisingly quick delivery too.

Yeah, FDE preferably to keep inline with the scheme. The trigger guard is also something I could do without, I've actually managed to cut myself whilst simply handling it.

Something like the above will fix that though. But with the exception of the three minor grievances I'm still absolutely loving this GBBR?

I have lightly reworked a trigger guard with a dremel and wet and dry.  Worked OK.

Yes, you’ll need to make up a 1mm alloy spacer, bolt pattern is the same though

Ah bugger, didn't realise that about the spacer. Dont really have the tools to do that, so guess I will send it back and just go with the TM sight

Thanks for the info

The Magpul trigger guards fit if you just file a bit of material away. Makes all the difference ?20210619_194501.thumb.jpg.b9cc74735158c5ba4b6b24b70a825ae3.jpg

My nice little Vector Frenzy RDS for the FNX45 arrived today.  Should work pretty well on a nice accurate pistol like the FNXPSX_20220331_144126.thumb.jpg.1c496cadc5885d49cd36ad5819c7f788.jpg

Shout out to Eddie at Lonestar Tactical.

My order arrived yesterday, but there was a bit of a problem, so he sent me out a new one that arrived first thing this morning!

Very impressed by the customer service and by the mask.

Lightweight, comfortable, tried it on with my usual goggles and they didn't mist at all, but the real test will be at the Battlesim on Sunday.

But there have been a few other recent purchases in the last month-and-a-bit that are knocking about now...

Looks and feels great, heavier than I thought though, but reviews are very good and should see him proud. The four mid-caps are more for me when I inevitably use it ?

Pretty much guarantee you won’t be disappointed with a cyma AK , there like the airsoft equivalent of the real ones . Most are a bit ruff’n’ready around the edges but tuff as old boots and with minimum maintenance it'll keep on going and going . ?

Yep, I have a bog standard AK (CM 0.42) and now this. They will be kept absolutely bog standard. The 47 is a but sluggish but I think 7.4 lipos would help rather than NiMh. Will try that later.

Chrono-ed last night and was consistent at 335-345fps on .2s (ugh!) at 1.1j.

Probably run .25s on these but see when I can get on a range next weekend

To be honest I run mostly 11’s in all my cyma guns , I’m a single shot type player near all the time but I do like the ‘buurrrp’ you get on auto when needed ? ?

Posted

I concur @Druid799single shot is where it's at. Reassuring that they run fine on 11s as i have a couple kicking around doing nothing ?

Dynamic precision reinforced nozzle for my TM MWS. The stock one didn't last very long at all, busted in under 3000 rounds.

This reinforced one doesn't feel very reinforced to be honest; feels exactly the same as the stock one so I guess we'll see how long it takes for this one to break.
