It is indeed. I wanted the AEG from last year ish but was advised it wouldn't compare to my hpa dmrs and to hold on for the gbbr for the realism feels

Since having the MTW's although they are awesome guns the micro-switch trigger kinda makes them too efficient and makes playing almost too easy and sterile.

Then i had a kythera fitted into my TR16 and the real trigger felt soo nice I've been using that ever since. Now I've fallen into the gbbr rabbit hole with the spear too i was intending to use both on the hpa system, but now i'm leaning for the gbb mags. But fuck me they're expensive! We'll see, no rush

Yeah, gbb mags are the financial crippler

But it’s like pure grade “gear” , the addiction is unsurpassed 😄

(allegedly)

I have an MTW 308 and honestly I completely get this. If I hadn't installed a slightly longer inner barrel causing it to no longer fit in the box it came in, I'd probably put it back in its box for now as especially with winter coming to a close I just don't think I'll be using it at all. When it comes to my DMR platform of choice it tends to be my MWS because the MTW does feel soulless. It performs fantastically well and is disgustingly quiet, but it's just not as fun, it's far too easy, and the GBBR performs more than well enough for a DMR!

Similar reason why I prefer lighter ghillie setups. Part of it is the immersion (most applications in real life tend to be capes or hoods, not these all over suits), part of it is that with how blind airsofters already are, it's far too easy 😂

Finally got a stock alert on a nice hi-capa outer barrel in the colour I wanted, so I jumped on that. Lucky I did, because I got the last 11mm to 14mm suppressor adapter in black! Hi-capa is basically complete now, because while I have an RMR mount for it, I found that the RMR sights were impossible to adjust low enough, so the fiber sights will do.

Ready for some sneaky sneaky, however it's still somewhat noisy because it's a snappy GBB pistol with a metal slide.

But it feels delightful to shoot, and it's a replica of a suppressed .45 so it tickles my immersion nerd / filmsimmer side. Easily my favoured pistol now and will for sure see use because I almost always have an MED. Been a long time advocate of GBBs as sniper sidearms.

The suppressor looks rather long/heavy - presuming that isn't a fixed barrel, it's not creating feeding problems/drag on the slide?

It's not that long or heavy, but no, it doesn't seem to be causing a drag on the slide. Haven't tested the feeding of it because I have nowhere to shoot, but I cycled it dry in my room and it didn't have any issues. The last threaded barrel I had very much did and it didn't cycle properly, so that's why I haven't done this yet. If this barrel also has issues, I'll just resign myself to not suppressing it as this barrel is a more pricey one that is meant to have tracer units on it.

I don't like tiny short suppressors on pistols and would rather have no suppressor. It just looks odd to me, and I like things to look realistic (and suppressors aren't often tiny short things like people have on their mk23s)

God's finest DE SPAS-12 - the insane 'hop up' effect barely dribbles a .25 out of the barrel, but I don't care - it's a fucking SPAS-12. Got a reading of 0.453J and it'll sit in the cupboard to larp with and look at. At least it looks cool (and, more importantly - was cheap!)
