Anyone have any advice for when you've ordered a small package from the US (USPS) and it still hasn't been delivered 1 and a half months later? Last update was "
In-Transit
January 16, 2021 at 12:54 pm
Departed
FORT LAUDERDALE, UNITED STATES" Thanks

I've had things take three months to arrive from The US. As @sonofsammo says, sometimes it'll go round and round the depots there before getting anywhere near an international flight. Also bear in mind, even upon arrival it could easily be stuck in customs for a month before they even calculate how much duty and handling to charge you.
-
I'm waiting on a package sent from HK around the same date via HK post office, no info after 30th December. Maybe a lot of parcels coming into the country around that time have just been stock-piled. I know Royal Mail does this to my packages sometimes. When the load is high it's like they get pushed to one side and then dealt with only when load decreases.
-
@ak2m4I thought that but then at the same time I've ordered two things from Aliexpress and both have turned up in just over a week. Strange times atm
-
Finally started shooting the CM16 just to test it today but I've a few problems:
Out of the box, it shoots really low and left. I adjusted the rear sights a bit and tried messing around with the hopup (which goes the opposite way to the instructions supplied it seems) but its still pretty inaccurate at a little less than 10m. Any advice?
Also I probably put around 100ish rounds through it, should I put the battery on charge again before tomorrow?
Thanks.

I believe it was SPARTAN BIO bb's I have left over from a site I went to where you have to use only their bbs. I've used all of them up now and I probably only be back there once or twice more before I sell my kit on. Right now I'm using NUPROL .20s from Bristol Airsoft (they only sold the tracer varient) however once these are used up I will look at getting some ASG Blasters or Devils (I can't remember the full name) but probably the latter due to a recent thread about exploding on mesh.
Thanks for the reassuring words, I thought my airsoft days were over there and then, however it has made me realise that I should probabl invest in a spare something or other as right now I only have 1 of each thing. (1 rifle, 1 mag 1 battery etc)
-
Yep welcome to airsoft where one of everything is not enough and neither is tow or three for that matter(just kidding) defo get some more mags and a back up battery though,if your watching the pennies and haven't got any camo look at helikon trousers very hard wearing pretty cheap and on the leg pockets the insides have elastic loops in them that you can use as mag pouches(rifle not pistol)👍 oh have a look on BZtactical I get mys BBs from there been using Tippman .25 .28 .30 good price and zero issues🖖

I trust these would fit in a G&G raider L?

Trying to grab some in the sale.

In order to get this:
To look like this:
Was I supposed to order another piece or am I just too stupid to figure out how to set it up like that?

However, the 'piece' you may not have ordered, is the actual plate carrier

Just to check is this stuff OK for maintaining a Gbbp?
Lucas Oil 10533 3676 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004X70LZA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_0NV2DbDDHMJC9
SILICONE GUN OIL 35 GUN RIFLE CARE SHOOTING AIRSOFT 30ml (Gun Oil-30ml) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00AZK13EC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_OPV2DbW0VHA5N
I have been told silicon oil only for moving parts and lithium grease for where metal meets metal?

Ah right yeah, found this one for mega cheao https://www.taiwangun.com/en/co2-i-lubricants/silicone-oil-60ml-w-applicator-tip-leda?from=related&campaign-id=6
Where abouts should I put the silicone oil in the m9? Different videos say contradictory things.

On Taiwan Gun, as I'm completing the order I've just seen these two points:
For UK and Ireland orders shipping is at the customer’s own risk.
PLS write your UKARA number into order commentary. The first one has me worried, the second confused. I am not ordering a RIF, but a rig and pouches. Is it going to get destroyed by customs?
Completely new to ordering from TG and utterly confused.

No problem, hope the rig works out well
-
Taiwangun is in poland btw :)))) So no customs
-
Ordered an m9 from Taiwan gun, paid and processed all fine. Went ahead and bought everything else I needed from amazon and a couple of other stores (gas, mags, maintanence stuff etc). Now I've just got an email saying: "hello
Im writing in refercne of your order
We dont have in stok beretta mg from your order
What we do??
marek"Why would they let me buy it, if it was out of stock!?!? At a loss. Should I just wait until they next come in stock, although they said that would be new year earliest . ffs

I got my plate carrier from 8 fields via patrol base, I was very impressed with the build quality for the price would defo recommend.
I am looking at one of their gun cases based on build quality and price.
-
Hunter, I have an 8Fields padded rifle case and can confirm it is a good buy. TaiwanGun is better tho, just a bit extra in shipping.
-
Actually just further to the above if you mean case like hard case, then those are made by SRC, and I had one of them as well and can tell you are both good. Found the larger size case a bit inconvenient though and preferred the fabric bag which's why I bought a padded TG one, to try and get best of both worlds.

Everywhere I look it is out of stock. I dont know how close you are to Bristol but apparently Marcruss outdoors may have them (albeit for £600 I hear!) so I'm gonna try and check that out if I get the time to but dont think I can exactly fork out £600 when I wont be airsofting for a considerable time

6 years after first trying, I finally own an airsoft rifle!!!!!!

Six years ? that's some serious self control ! unless you've been in a coma since 2013 😀

It wasn't exactly my choice, I had to wait to be allowed one. Had I been allowed immediately, I would be heavily in debt by now.
Just hoping it arrives by Sunday

Any ideas as to how to stop these fogging up? Anti fog spray and shaving foam doesn't seem to do the trick

Yup, i-force dual panes nearly work for me, depending on venue, weather, exertion and anti-fog gloop, but really, fan ventilation fixes everything.
-
Used to use fogtech DX - which was ok-ish until one day it completely failed (high heat/humidity), and I couldn't see a damned thing most of the gameday.
Fans are the way to go - especially as I wear glasses inside a set of goggles. I wouldn't go back to wipes/sprays. Near as dammit zero fogging even on 30deg game days. Amazeballs.

Anyone have experience with ordering from EVIKE Europe? Went through to make an order but couldnt spot anywhere to put a UKARA so the grinches at customes dont destroy me rif

Dont suppose anyones selling an S&T SMLE?

Had some issues with the cm16 raider today in that the .25 bbs were drooping to the floor after only 10m with the hop. Up both fully on and off. Adjusting the hop up does not seem to do anything. Any ideas on what I could do?

Yeah for sure there are quite a few things that could potentially go wrong with reassembly.
- ensure the hop rubber (the sleeve) is fitted correctly, with the protruding line seated in the long groove in the barrel and the protruding nub on the opposite side seated inside the little window in the barrel.
- It is possible to push the barrel with the rubber installed both too far into the hop unit thereby smushing up the feed lips and distorting them or equally not pushing the barrel and feed lips in far enough, either scenario will almost certainly run you into feeding problems.
(sometimes with a very tight setup a small amount of silicon oil can help - just don't get it any where near the hop window)
- ensure the plastic barrel clip is engaged properly, with the two recesses fitting correctly into the grooves on the barrel - some times these can go on and you'll think its in place, but in fact the two recesses are just resting on the edge of the groove - this can cause the barrel itself to move, thereby moving the cut out window away from the hop up arm rendering the mechanism useless.
- custom hop nubs (especially flat nubs) can be too wide for your existing hop window and will require an equal amount of light sanding on each side until it comfortably fits into the window - the test is to press the nub down and see if it springs back up under the elastic force of the rubber without getting lodged.
This could cause you an inability to push the nub down or it could cause the nub to become stuck, so that when you raise the hop arm the nub remains in its position in the hop window.
- Also do check the condition of all the hop mechanism dials and arms, It's not that common but some times these little pieces can become a bit minced.
Defintley, take the barrel and hop out, dissemble, then reassemble checking at every stage.. to be safe, do clean the rubber on the inside of the window. You can see if the mechanism is working in its most basic form by looking down the barrel and adjusting the wheel while observing the nub lowering and rising.
Hope this helps dude!
-
@Cr0-Magnonoh yeah, that's another one - make sure the nub is engaged properly with the hop unit arm, if it doesn't lodge into the arm it may be displaced to the front or rear of the arm most likely resulting in a zero hop scenario.
Some people like to super glue the nub onto the arm, which is fine for a standard nub, though not necessarily for a flat nub otherwise you may get a sloped hop surface - the tiniest blob of silicon gel can help keep it in place for installation.

Has anyone been to Spartan CQB recently? Hoping to head down with some friends this weekend, didnt realise the price had gone up so much :')
