    For co2 in winter, depends on gun and if it slide is light (like kjw cz75). But for most co2 pistos (1911s tbh) you can at the very least get half a mag off with good power (tested in -2c weather before). Green gas no bueno unless it's a tm. For me, getting a few shots off in winter is worth the trade offs compared to adolf saying he's rather have GG and not use it at all.

    It's incredible how people have used this exact video in presentations and now the "whirl valve" has assimilated into common knowledge when it is just a gimmick from G&G, the guys that have been historically known to make dog poo poo pistols.

    It's defo a bit whiny but tbh no one will really care and I would personally keep it like that (partially because it's a nuprol). In all my years airsoft, the only gearbox that has failed me outright was a nuprol m4 gearbox. The teeth on the gears just exploded. And, other gearboxes did not fit into the gun without modification due to some metal tabs getting in the way. I remember they also have microswitches which also makes it non standard. By far the worst m4 I ever had.

    Hm i'm having a weird problem where I cannot access the forum through the browser as it keepa going "IP address cannot be found". But if I go through my email and click to see and inbox message, it loads fine. Any ideas?

      I'm guessing the owners changed it from .co.uk to .uk last couple of days as it was listed as .co.uk in my favourites.  The old .co.uk is now completely deaded... ahh the joys of domain renewal and change

      Funnily enough I can’t access the forum through the free BT wi-fi in work but no problem on mobile data . We used to have sky cloud and no problem but BT ? Nope not having it ! ?

    I have the raider 2.0 and it is really light at just under 2kg without a mag. The firehawk should be good too if you want shorter. I personally can't advocate for augs since I hate the balance of bullpups (I prefer pulling the weight up from the front). Ares and Specna are OK, but G&G have by far the best reputation of them all for low cost and good performance.

    They're ok, but nothing special. Had one of their M4s before. The recoil is noticeable but it's just a kinda feels like a rubberband being pinged at you. Looking at patrolbase atm, around 350+ for one of those things. I can't really say i'd recommend it. A TM recoil M4 has much nicer externals.

      Yes but there are some procedures that I need that arent nhs covered, so most of the cpst goes towards that.

    I had the Korth PRS, it was shit. When you see the real korth prs, you see the nice shiny, smooth steel. What do you get with the ICS? A flimsy pistol with horrific external coating. Like wtf is that shit on the outside? It's like a matte, rocky finish that feels like plastic. I'd rather take WE's terrible chrome finish to what the Korth has. Performance was also "meh". It was ok but it has a really weak recoil spring which made the impulse feel mushy. I bought it for £150 off taiwangun at the time which was a robbery. Seem to be on sale for £125 on firesupport right now which is still a robbery.

    Soaked. Soaked to fuck. Removed my gloves for one game because they were soaked, got both middle and ring finger shot which are now bruised and swollen in a nice purple colour. Goggles fogged up to fuck all day. People left one by one because of the weather. When it ended, walked for 30 min in torrential rain with no cover and sat on the bus for an hour with all my stuff laid out everywhere on the top floor. Still was a decent day though.

      Ye I cant get get the same satifaction from spring rifles. The sounds, real mag placement, and making the chaotic gas work just feels better. Main limitation yesterday with my m40a5 was working around the fps drop after firing quickly.

    Never considered it before but I actually am now after seeing some reviews and shooting tests. They sound good in videos. Wonder if you can dmr it as I'd like to take it that route. And im guessing you can fire it like a spring gun if all goes wrong?

    It's really awesome and I want one but there are a few things keeping me back: fixed hop, and only 54 rounds (18 shots) in the chonky magazine that is probably gonna cost a fortune.

    Ye don't really recommend them. Bought second hand King Arms MDT LSS from them before and it was advertised to come with 3 gas mags but instead came with 2 hpa tapped ones... Kept chasing them, they kept saying they would sort it out but never did. I was going to do a charge back on my card but decided it wasn't worth the effort, so I sold off the hpa ones to get actual gas mags for it. What's weirder is that one of owners somehow started following my instagram account that I never use out of the blue. Like, that is creepy as fuck.

      Oh a hpa user would defo be good. However, the test itself will cost. Not an exorbitant amount, but enough to require a commitment (mainly to cover material costs).

      Keeping out of the way won't be hard, you could probably outrun - or outwalk - 0.2g coming from that. :D

       

      175fps with 0.12g is 0.17J.  Easier to get people to take hits from this:
