Another day at Bristol Airsoft (The Courts) today, was a fun day. A lot smaller teams so played more tactical. it’s such a surreal feeling sneaking through the cells in darkness, listening out for foot steps. As soon as I heard anything I stopped dead and aimed toward the direction it was coming from. My high cappa helped so much today also on the tight stairs. Just need a sling now and had to go one handed while holding my rifle down to the side. always seem to get hit in the same place tho, you can still see the reminiscence of the 19th when we last played but now a few new marks from today. -

Thanks, she does look sexy now. She was also shooting relative straight today. Also crono’d at 320 (the highest of the day). I was intending on getting my UKARA but didn’t want a pistol sprayed blue so did it for that. Will still get my UKARA to be safe. -

Thank you, she really does look the part now. potentially your right as the site I am going to is closing down soon, they are looking for a new site but not sure if they have found one yet. If they close before mid February, I wouldn’t have been able to get my UKARA through them anyways so I am glad I found out about the MVT. -

Anyways, let’s step away from Defences at the moment and take a look at my full black M4PI. I am buzzing now and can’t wait to play on Boxing Day. The tactical torch and red dot just blend in so nicely now. -

Rant away, I know it’s not aimed at me and I’m know where you are coming from. It does seem like a system that can be abused but it won’t be abused by myself. I will probably still look into my UKARA if that’s possible but it was a means to an end as this pistol was calling to me. -

She is a keeper as she is was the one encouraging me to go to the shop and get some stuff I like. She likes it as it gets me out the house so she can sit with the dog and watch crap on the sofa. MVT is “ military vehicle trust,” if you register with them and pay the £35 a year subscription you are classed as a re-enactor so you are able to purchase full black RIFs without the need of a UKARA. I am really impressed with the pistol, I need green gas tho as unfortunately he didn’t have any at the shop when I purchased it. He filled it with red gas which he said would be fine for the cold weather but green gas would be better. He is going to let me know as soon as it’s in stock or I will see if they have any at Bristol Airsoft on Boxing Day when I am playing next. I am planning to invest in a torch/stone light for the pistol for the dark areas in CQB. Yeah that’s exactly what I did. -

You are so right about all the other things needed too for CQB, I have just left my local airsoft shop and came out with a new pistol. The owners was so helpful and even help me set up my MVT so I could purchase the pistol without having to have it two toned. just got a AW Custom High Capps 5.1, holster and everything needed to attach to my tactical vest too. -

Need to stay frugal until I find my dream build. I like the idea of a DMR but playing CQB mostly at the moment, something more like G36C or compact sub machine gun might be a better option. like I said before tho, going to play with this gun and do a lot of research, there was players on my last game day who had HPA and it looked amazing but need to also take into consideration how much the tanks or refilling of the tanks would cost. It’s not a cheap sport if you go wild and to be honest I don’t have Gucci money available to spend. -
Hello & welcome to the forum, a great bunch here with so much advice available.

Hello all, I have only recently gotten into airsoft (played my first game on the 19th December 2021) but already hooked. my fiancé has bought me a gun already and since playing that first game I realised I needed a torch and better sight. so here is my work in progress. It’s a Bulldog M4PI RIS CQB with a M300a Tactical Torch & a FOCUHUNTER 2 MOA red dot sight. I know it’s not the best but everyone starts somewhere and this is mine. Planing to keep playing with this rifle for quite some time then invest in a different riffle after expecting everyone else’s on game days. I also completely forgot to order batteries too so have been able to set the sight up properly or test the light but it should all arrive Friday. So will update you all when I have chance to set it all up.

Thank you for the information, I will fit it first then work out what protection would be best. As not sure if I need to use the riser or not yet. -

Yes I learnt very quickly to remember my gloves next time. I have made two more purchases but nothing crazily expensive, just a torch for the side of my gun & a better sight. as soon as it’s all arrived and it’s all fitted, I will make sure to upload a photo for people to see. -

I have already spent a bit of money but that is buying my gear (helmet, gloves, face protection & tactical vest). My fiancé has bought me a two tone RIF which I will use for a while then maybe purchase a pistol once I have my UKARA. looking to book my next game on 28th but all depends if Boris does another lock down or not. -

The worst thing is I already had some gloves but left them at home like an idiot. Oh I swore too, no kids today so was okay but the Marshall did laugh then said sorry for laughing. He said it’s the quickest way to learn to remember your gloves.
