  1. My red dot sight is already on a riser and whilst wearing my Earmors they foul on the stock not allowing me to sight properly. the drop stock will raise the sight a further inch or so. This way when shouldered whilst wearing Earmors I’ll be able to sight. Might just mil an aluminium spacer…
  2. I have purchased a Drop Stock Adapter as you can see in the photo provided there is a gap that needs taking up. I have a few ideas but before I start out with any of them I wanted to ask here after a search didn’t come up with the result I wanted. Has anybody had experience with this? What was the solution? Options I have considered: 1) Removing material from the inside of the adapter (On measuring it wouldn’t leave a lot left for it’s structure and support). 2) A combination of removing some material from the adapter and modifying the buffer tube fitting on the back of the receiver. 3) What I would prefer. Some sort of plate or rubber buffer/spacer that’s designed to take up this slack. 4) Anyone with a better idea than the aforementioned. Thanks in advance for advice and ideas. AirsoftRich.
  3. I have searched the forum to no avail. I have searched the internet and I’m struggling to find Molle polymer pistol mag pouches that fit Hi capa mags as they tend to be a bit more chunky than Glock or 1911 mags. Does anybody have any ideas?
  4. I have been looking at Evolution Airsoft 416 QCB RAHG ETS. (A Google search should bring up what I mean). I have been informed that Evolution Airsoft are a brand that like the likes of Nuprol copy weapons and reproduce under their own name. Can anyone tell me who actually makes these? Are they copies of what brand? And what rifle are they copies of? Thanks for input.
  5. Interested in seeing photos of your design. I have considered making one but need some design inspiration.
  6. Hmm they look nice and even come with a 600RD Hi Cap (even though such a sizable mag I.M.O. would take away from the immersion ( I haven’t had the opportunity to have 600RD’s yet but I can see how anticlimactic spewing 600 BB’s with no mag change could be)). That being said so far I haven’t read very much in the way of good build quality with Bolt.
  7. @BigAl Trying to find those KWA Ronins in stock is a seperate issue!
  8. It was a loose term I mean working towards my UKARA Number to use as a valid defence. I am a member of F&O and am completing my required attendances with them. As for the rubbers that’s a whole new mine field for me to navigate. Have heard a lot of people rating the Maple Leaf ones.
  9. I did wonder if the selector would be reversible or not. I’m not really fussed about the bolt stop on empty mags. Would the entire hop need changing or just the rubber? The review by Patrolbase did say it has no problem sending .25’s and .28’s. This is going to take a lot of thought while I move towards my UKARA.
  10. I have been looking at a few reviews on the KWA Ronin it seems pretty good. One thing that may push me to the TM though is the fire selector on the KWA. In a review by Patrol Base he mentioned that although it’s ambi the right side is slightly shorter than the left to accomodate your trigger finger. Thing is although I can shoulder and shoot both left or right I am left handed and it’s much more comfortable for me left hand on the trigger. I will have to hold one in person to decide that.
  11. That’s certainly interesting. It looks like a fair amount of recoil on that. Shame it’s hard to find these days. ‘Goes off to look’ 👀
  12. Thanks. I was leaning more towards the TM. I visited a well known Airsoft store today and had this conversation about the TM and I felt they were trying to push the Bolt as a comparable but inexpensive option. I just didn’t feel like it was something to compare to a renowned TM so I came here for answers and opinions. I’m completely open to all suggestions BUT I do my research first. Looking forward to more input from people.
