  1. Totally agree @Tackle, you do have to take at least a calculated chance to do the things you enjoy in life. Obviously banging my head wouldn't be ideal but my main concern are the shots which hit the cheek bone kinda area from time to time. Will keep looking for suitable masks etc, as I do have a very nice DMR which I can hang back with. @EDcase - Bloody lower backs! It's always "fun" seizing up at lunchtime and then having to head back out on the field isn't it 😬
  2. Thanks guys, I guess we all have our struggles. I don't think there is anything specific in Airsoft which is a terrible idea for me going forward, apart from the whole getting shot in the eye but then who of us wants that!
  3. About a month ago I detached one of my retinas. Shortly thereafter I had the surgery and I'm currently on the mend, pretty much past the first stage but it takes up to six months for the final results. As per the title, I really do enjoy skirmishing. I hate this sedentary lifestyle most of us have bought into but need a purpose behind my exercise. However.....since it happened I've been nervous, sensitive and paranoid about my eyes. Of course I've got decent eyepro but I'm struggling with the idea of putting myself in the position to be shot on the face. I suppose the question element of this, is has anyone else experienced injuries/medical issues etc which have put their airsofting future in doubt, even if it's just the mental aspect and how did you push through it?
  4. As above, if you're lucky someone may recognise the base guns but outside of that you'll need to know upgrades and at least how they're shooting (ie, do they feed OK, hop OK and is the power within what you'd reasonable expect). Otherwise you can't even sell them as working.
  5. The manufacturers advice is use 11.1 (will have to be a slim stick lipo) for anything shooting 1J and up. Use 9.9 LiFe for anything below. Long story short, if you're trying to achieve 340FPS on a 0.20g. Get a bearing spring guide and use the ASG blue M95 spring. Then you should be fine with a 11.1V lipo.
  6. Seeing as it's just a toy, she'd be fine with both her and her son being shot in the eyes using it? That's what her darling little boy was potentially subjecting his fellow pupils too. As someone who recently had eye surgery, I am very sensitive about this subject!
  7. I'm re-watching Peep Show for the umpteenth time at the moment. Annoys me they didn't have any eyepro though! Definitely don't want a "Golden Snitch" to the face!
  8. Has the last one on the right lifted his mask? You can get instantly kicked out of a war for that.
  9. Is this NBB? Looks in the same vein as their LCP & Bodyguard.
  10. Thanks guys, for some reason I didn't get notifications of any responses.
  11. So I can flash my RIF around in public as long as I'm wearing a costume? 🤔
  12. I recently picked up a secondhand D-Boys PDW. However the pistol grip was broken in transit and I can't find a direct replacement online. The place I got it from sent a standard M4 grip but it's significantly longer than the one it came with and as such I can't even get the motor to make contact with the gears. Would replacing the motor for a long shaft one solve this, or is it not as simple as that?
  13. I've been watching a Japanese airsofters YouTube channel and it's quite interesting to learn how they play. From what I understand, the majority of their sites are CQB. Even outdoors they run around a village type area or between shipping containers etc. Also they only have three different BB weights, 0.20's, 0.25's and 0.28's. The last of which can only be used if they're in a bolt action rifle. I don't think they have any MED, so they're happy if they can reach 30M with their bolties. TM have been regarded as one of the top Airsoft manufacturers for a very long time and are obviously successful/content the way things are. Why mess with that formula.

Only selling as I bought two different stocks at the same time and decided to use the other. This is a high quality item with toolless access to the decent amount of battery space (possible to position some style/size batteries vertically at the back). This was never fitted and has not even been out of the box for longer than the time it took to initially inspect then take these pics. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. Please ask any questions via PM as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

  15. The A&K uses a different gearbox, nozzle and hop unit to the G&G. Are you unable to source G&G mags?
  16. Yeah but you get a 25p refund every time someone tells you they'll definitely come back to you on payday.
  17. I was intending on using 0.28g. Let's face it, for a CQB gun 0.25g would be fine too.
  18. Quick one, I've figured out how to make the hop wheel appear. However I can't quite work out a decent way to turn it up/down. Are people using a little tool? I have quite small hands but even I can't get a finger through the ejector port.
  19. I wish you luck because that's what you're counting on.
  20. Why's he putting Airsoft toy on something which is classified as a RIF in The UK? Border force could choose to seize and destroy it on that basis alone (I speak from experience). Add in the "gift" stuff and you'll be extremely lucky to actually receive it this end.

I've decided to sell this beast of a magazine as the only RIF I have that it fits is my 450fps DMR and using those in tandem would be a tad excessive, even for me. As such, it's only been lightly used (in a gun I've since sold). A simple but effective design, which in my experience works far more reliably than electric winding magazines (also without the annoying whirring noise). Just pour a landfills worth of BB's in through the kind of door you'd usually find a Rancor behind and rotate the front dial until you feel the mechanism tighten slightly. This should last you a good while and you can periodically turn a couple of times to maintain feeding when required. As with my other drum Mag listing, be careful not to overtighten! Selling as I'm trimming some of the stuff I don't use much and this has only seen about two hours total game time. So some marks present from normal usage but certainly not beaten up and battered. Obviously it'd be a bit awkward to holster a pistol with this in, but a great bit of kit for those looking to use their G-Series pistol as a primary. I've found it does bump up the FPS quite significantly. For example my TM G19 shoots around the 260 mark with its own mags and 300 with this. As with any gas gun/mag, results can vary massively depending on gas used, ambient temperature, particular gun or just the Airsoft God's having shits and giggles. Gas goes in the bottom, there's a high cap style trap door for pouring BB's into and then you draw them up through the G-Series mag, stopping at the feedlips with manual rotations of the front dial. You'll feel this mechanism tighten, so be careful not to overwind as it may break. This mag is currently working as it should, with no gas leakage. I cannot offer any guarantee beyond that. Just so I don't get loads of messages enquiring as to whether this is compatible with a certain gun, all I can say is I've used it with an AAP-01 and TM "Glock" pistols. I'd be surprised if it didn't work perfectly in WE and Armorer Works Glock style guns too. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. 23. This is the weird thing about measurements in The UK. Springs are measured in metres but we chrono in feet. I have an aquarium, it's 4ft wide and holds 300L 🤔
  24. Patrol Base be like "Non functional, externals extremely damaged. Save £15"
