  1. 'Fully marked" apart from the bit where it reads Tokyo Marui instead of Glock Austria/Smyrna 😬?
  2. I do follow advice sometimes....
  3. Lancer Tactical!? I thought they only existed in American YouTubers mystery boxes!
  4. Nearly binned off Airsoft after my detached retina. Now thinking about where I should play for the third time in a row, this weekend 🤔

      Cheers @Shamal.

Fortunately as the retina is at the back of your eye, the only real chance (or at least I hope) or something happening is if I hit by head massively hard....and no one wants that!

  5. The TM G19 has a pretty weak hop arm too. My go to bucking for pistols is a 50 degree flamingo.
  6. Had you not heard that before? I have on at least several occasions. Mostly from, errmmm....let's just say the type of people who will move on their guns by uploading a single dark and/or blurry pic of it on their duvet (bonus point for feet also being featured).
  7. Heard while I was queuing for chrono recently: Airsofter 1: You not chronoed yet? Airsofter 2: I tried but it was too hot, so I'm using a different battery. Airsofter 1: Nah, your best bet is to turn your hop all the way up but just remember to dial it back after. That was my first game back after my eye issues too, made me question if it was worth associating with these muppets!
  8. You're right, I get that most pistols are naturally below 350 but stick red gas inside one of those "John Wick" Hi-Capa's on a 25C day and I'd be very surprised if you're not talking the same kinda power too.
  9. Maybe pick-up just the arm and an I key. Possible a new hop rubber too. You don't want to buy a tightbore barrel and increase past 310, then not be able to use it.
  10. So why worry? The very max on a 0.28g is 295fps and you wouldn't even want to go that far due to variance in site chrono's.
  11. Have you disassembled the unit, cleaned the barrel and wiped any excess grease off the bucking? The standard setup should be fine to hop 0.20's 30M or so. If still no success, change just the rubber first.
  12. Have some schools broken up for Summer already?
  13. @alxndrhll - That's this forums version of an intervention. Solid advice though, cheers. @C-Diddy - I had thought about doing it that way. You're right that at £55 a mag, having a 35 round one included, rather than 20 (which may be a step too far on the challenge scale), does make a difference. Think I'll give the idea some breathing room and see how I feel in a while. Plenty of house and car stuff I need to outlay atm anyway. Plus my next game is at South coast CQB and that's definitely one for the MP7!
  14. You still enjoying the MWS though?
  15. I quite like the modern AR look, even though it's nothing out of the ordinary. Being heavy would certainly put me off, so I guess I should go and check them out in person. I would have thought for your purposes, a GBBR would be great fun?
  16. I don't actually, I find they increase the speed at which my lower back starts to ache like hell! Maybe that's why I enjoyed using the MP7 so much 🤔 I really like an old school bushmaster stock (as found on the MWS M4 M4A1 Carbine), however want to mount a small scope and thinking that may be more appropriate on the MTR.
  17. After properly using a decent GBBR (TM MP7) for the first time on Sunday, I can't stop thinking how much more I liked it than my AEG (which I took but didn't use). I have been playing for five years and after having numerous RIF's pass through my hands, have somewhat whittled my collection down to things I have/would actually use. In that is 3 x primary AEG's, which I would keep regardless, same for the TM MP7. However I can't help but feel for woodland games, a longer gun would be more suitable and have latched on to this particular model. So, c'mon what are the negatives I need to take in to consideration? (outside of the initial outlay!)
  18. ...wait, how are Geoff's cheaper than Nuprol RZR for 0.28's!?
  19. Everything appears normal, I fire a few shots and then it dry fires, I check the mag and notice two BB's side by side about 8mm below where they should sit. Give the mag a slap they'll feed to the top. Will checkout Geoff's when I get the chance, hate paying postage for just an item or two.
  20. The only issue I've ever heard of with TM PX4 (my WE PX4 also suffered from this), is the trigger arm spring falling out of it's frame indent. This happened to mine twice and both times the part was lost, leaving me scouring the internet for spares. So yeah, if you get one and the trigger randomly stops engaging, that's likely the cause!
  21. That's a weird one too actually. So far I've only noticed an issue when using a TM 470 round speedloader, when using my Nuprol speedloader it disappeared. The only reason I can think of for this is the nozzle bit on the TM is too large to sit flush with the opening on my Modify M4 midcaps.
  22. It does have an o-ring, yeah. As I say, the FPS consistency is above my expectations. This is on 0.28 with hop set appropriately.
  23. Looking at new ones online, I reckon it was never perfectly round but hmm...dunno.
  24. Sorted and yep checked the flash hider. Cheers guys.
  25. Reaaallly like this gun, it's been spot on even shooting very consistent FPS. However recently I've been struggling to set the hop, it seems perfect for a few shots then one will drop, back to being straight, then they overhop for a few. Also the mags kept backing up with BB's wedging themselves next to eachother (not sure if that's related?) I've just cleaned the inner barrel. It wasn't particularly dirty but also noticed the opening of the nozzle isn't perfectly circular and possibly a bit cracked looking. I've been using midcap mags with it and it wouldn't surprise me if I've been overfilling them. What say you guys, does the nozzle look OK?
