  1. Negative Airsoft YouTube. I just thought it was amusing/scary that I nearly bought that on here.
  2. Maybe we should have a scammer of the week thread?
  3. That's hilarious, "Manufacturer painted" .......He knows Mr. Marui personally I suppose. Because we've seen time and time again how little TM care about the international market. For this guy, they apparently get involved in helping comply with VCRA. I Love my Gold Match but if anyone wants a non two tone one, I'll let it go for £600, £750 if you want me to include a spare mag 😉
  4. As has been mentioned, it's not your fault arseholes like this exist. On a lighter note: "Airsoft is a game or sport where those taking part eliminate their opponents by hitting them with non-metallic pallets" Just using one wrong letter turns that sentence in to quite the humorous image!
  5. Once again I would like to remind people not to drink and buy....

On a completely unrelated note, I can recommend both:

Looks like someone is about to get an extra-judicial visit from their friendly neighbourhood Gunforcers to get their Thinking Checkes.

  6. Are you trying to buy RIF's? Do you have UKARA or other defence?
  7. I sell international Airsoft permits. £5K for six months. PayPal (F&F) only please.
  8. I guess site rules on the website and signed waivers "should" cover their bases on that ground. Maybe they are all just aspiring comedians after all.
  9. Yeah I'm just thinking of the time I had to tell an inebriated off duty police officer, that they couldn't smoke on the coach. In response to me also pointing at the "No Smoking" sign, her defence was "If it goes to court, I'll argue I'm blind and that's discrimination!"
  10. I can't speak with certainty but I would imagine that verbally stating the rules and safety advice is an insurance/liability requirement. I've been a part of and lead heavy/oversized cargo lifts. Health & safety rules state that you actually have to go through a proper induction process. You can't just say "check the board"
  11. Yeah most airsofters are like "how do we make our pistols heavier and rifles have stronger blowback!?" From memory @emilianoksa doesn't actually skirmish though. So assume this is all down to how it feels in the hand.
  12. I did buy 2 x cans of this. As suspected the consistency seems the same and it's certainly far better value at £4 for 500ml compared to £6 for 150ml of the Abbey stuff. My only slight issue with it, is Cassandra's Dad (Only Fools & Horses, dodgy mobile phone scene) would describe it as "A bit urgent" It rushes out and causes a foamy puddle (don't be filthy!).
  13. I would like to thank the makers of the Spitfire & Bifrost tracers. Your products make locating players who use them in daytime woodland skirmishes, quick and easy.

They are great outdoors, for the players on the other side.  I came up against one for the first time a few weeks ago; a really well hidden player with a nice flashing light each time he shot.

@colinjallen - Yeah, it was either someone using a spitfire in completely the wrong environment or he'd mounted one of these on his gun, right?

  14. You would need to check with the retailer on a "case by case" basis. However when enquiring with one about a TM MK23 the other week, I was assured "The trades are on there but we're not allowed to advertise that online" Also you'll have perhaps noticed that Firesupport (not the retailer in question above, BTW) have stopped stocking any TM Glocks. This is just speculation but I would assume this is connected to their recent range increase of "Officially licenced" Umarex Glocks.
  15. Surely the ones you were looking at were CNC aluminium rather than plastic or pot metal? But yeah, these are prone to that when using strong gas and full-auto.
  16. That'll cost you what, £60 or so delivered. I would be very surprised if you see a measurable improvement. As you've already discovered with the maple leaf, the stock setup in these guns is decent.
  17. What are you talking about...I have six different Glock variants, because they help me "push the objective"
  18. I was dubious when I saw the thread title. Your write-up is fair though. So, welcome n' all that. You picked up on something which I have found to be generally true across several sites and years of playing. It can be a little bit like golf. People turning up mostly to try and/or show off their latest equipment, combined with milling around talking with their mates. Not everyone is super enthusiastic (of course the current weather doesn't help) about the actual objectives and often people who celebrate victories are seen as knobs. Maybe because of this, I rarely hear marshals even mention who "won" either. Possibly that's my overall point, maybe it's not for you or maybe you'll learn to take it less seriously. Think of it as a good reason to get out of the house early on a weekend, meet some mates, get the adrenaline flowing and even a little excercise too. Edit; I will also add that collecting the equipment (often the guns), can be at least 50% of the reason people are in to this hobby.
  19. Yeah go on then. PM me and I'll give you my PayPal details. In fact all of the training will be via PM and I may not respond for several months....in order to teach you the art of patience of course but yeah let's do it.
  20. Finding a pistol which works well in the cold has been the bane of my airsofting experience. Love my Co2 P-09 but when you see the o-ring which keeps it from leaking, it's not wonder they fail after five minutes. Which gas do you use in the HK45 or FNX when it's cold?
  21. I had a pre-2020 SSX23, the jamming and double-feeding was ridiculous. Although I don't think they ever directly accepted responsibility, Novritsch did release feedlips which fixed this.
  22. Actually no, I think they've done it for licencing reasons. They're recently increased their stock of Umarex Glocks and removed all trace of any TM G series products. ...and you hate the gen.3? It's also got the 15mm cylinder, so just as snappy and the externals are of the same quality.
  23. Yeah I've been keeping an eye on it as was planning to pick one up. I've just taken delivery of my "850th" Gen.3 19. Because they're also excellent.
  24. Out of the box the SSX23 blows all the other options away and if you argue that, you're just a "hater" If you want H&K trades and are willing to go through the upgrade route yourself, then the TM would of course be the go-to. The ASG/STTI are just budget versions of the latter. I wouldn't get the SSP1 unless you're just looking for a CO2 pistol. The TM Hi-Capa's are infinitely better on green gas. I love my Gold Match and anything you do to it, isn't really an upgrade. You're just changing the externals. I am also very keen on my AAP-01 with Black Mamba kit but it's more cumbersome to carry than a Hi-capa. How important is full-auto and a folding stock to you? Edit; any excuse to post this little clip 😁 VID_20210808_123131.mp4
