    The RIF I wanted so bad, that when I joined these forums 20+ years ago, my username was 'Bison Hunter' 😁. I got a custom made from a TM Beta Spetsnaz but it wasn't really skirmishable. Then I quit the hoppy and came back 15 years later to find that Bizons had basically been and gone... until Patrol Base got some stock in at the same time I got a work bonus. I've had it 3 weeks and decided I wanted to remove the stock completely and cover the exposure at the back. This required an adaptor that itself required some angle grinder attention. But now with the RK-3 grip, B-13 mount (both with funky Russian language on them), and PBS-1 can, it's almost my dream RIF. In lieu of a decent Kobra sight, I have a C More sight on the way, so the nasty one on here is a placeholder. First game on Sunday and I just can't wait! 😁

    Saw that HPA U.K. have the GHK Glock 17 Gen 5 in, and at a great price. Landwarrior who are the Umarex main agent apparently still don’t have them, listed as out of stock, and listed at £70 more than HPA.

    It's a rule that has some logic behind it, ablbeit the lazy logic of a site that finds it easier to enforce an unenforceable rule than take the steps to ensure proper chrono practice. Tl:dr is hpa/gbbr has a tendancy to joule creep, ie it can fire kosher joule-based owchie on 0.2g but significantly more than the allowable joule-based owchie on heavier rounds, so a (theoretically unsuspecting) player can pass chrono with flying colours and with no more effort than loading their preferred heavyweight ammo be dishing out unnessecary zingers to their fellow humans.

    I went in yesterday at lunchtime. They have very few bb bottles left. Mostly the Perfect BLS .2s and .25s Tracer ones. I bought 6 bottles of the .3 Devils and a bunch of other stuff. They had none of the G&G or BLS.28s left. Got 2 Nuprol AK Flash Mags, couple of possibly Boneyard RIFs that they didn't have on the website, a couple of decent old stock Viper Special ops zipped jumpers they stopped making 15 years ago that I have been looking for for a while. It's just one guy left in the shop. The shutter is half down so he can concentrate on internet orders and people who are in the know can ring the shop when they are outside to be let in. Mostly to prevent browsers/time wasters. It's looking awfully empty in there. I was told that Saturday will likely be the last day they open.

    Their I cannot see any reason for substituting items that have been ordered. If they don’t have enough in stock, their inventory management needs to be improved; they cannot just send people something that they did not order.

    Luckily, I know a fair bit and am happy to shit on his parade. TL;DR; The "upgraded" hop unit is trash with proprietary buckings which are near impossible to obtain outside of HK. The "Highly Upgraded" Is bare fucking minimum.

    It's not generally accepted yet, but I'm fine with it. Above about 0.4g you have to mix in so much metal and minerals that it becomes hard to argue that we're slinging "plastic".

    I am selling complete prototype of RFID Domination Timer 2.0 device. It is stopwatch created for Airsoft events with second resolution. It is possible to let it count up to 99 hours, 59 mintues, 59 seconds, so it is suitable for LARP even MilSim events. How it works in the video: 10 RFID cards - RED team 10 RFID cards - BLUE team 2 RFID cards - Referee (can pause the time) 2 RFID cards - Referee (can stop and reset the time) RFID cards are white, there is team name written on them by centropen. Device is operated by Arduino Nano microcontroller that will be already programmed for your application. That means you can use the device immediately after delivery. Usage is very intuitive. Device is not waterproof and should be used indoors or outdoors but not in wet, high-humidity places. All components are inside the PLA 3D printed enclosure and mounted together by screws. You are able to mount the device on the tree, pipe, joist by its tie-belt with spring mechanism that can lock it. You will also receive the .hex file in case you will want to reupload the firmware or to clone it to any amount of own devices. You can built more RFID DOMINATORS in a single Airsoft playground which will react on the same RFID cards. Dimensions: 124 x 123 x 48 mm I am able to do a specific programming, bonus functionality etc based on your requirements. Also it is possible to create a 4-team firmware or to implement even more RFID cards in total based on individual deal. There are white or black 3D printed enclosures. Also it is possible to built the device with blue or yellow LCD screen. Make sure you type which one you want, otherwise I will send random. You will also receive a phillips screwdriver using which you can set the contrast on your LCD screen. Trimer for contrast control is accessable from the back side of the device. It is required if you were using the device in hot weather and then if it comes at the cold weather, some correction will be required. Note: It is a prototype. It means, it has no certifications and can be used on your own risk. It is delivered as incomplete device, as charging cable is not present in the box.

    Exactly this! The guy at ak2m4 told me to try to find the perfect height with my thumb and found out that the base plate was too thick even when the middle screw was taken out, sanding it down made it work without overheating.

    13:1 for me. Any 22tpa motor can pull pretty silly springs without any issues, pulling 13:1s at UK powers won't strain them in any way possible unless you get a lemon motor, but if you're buying from @ak2m4I'm sure he'll provide excellent service should anything happen. For reference, at 0.99J a 22tpa + 13:1 setup powered by a 11.1v will produce around 30 rps and a VERY snappy semi, on 7.4v performance will be similar to a stock gun on 11.1 (so 20ish rps). 22tpa + 18:1 ratio is going to be painfully slow and it'll feel like you just wasted money. Also your X-ASR will be fine.. It's not the greatest electronic unit out there, but it is "free" (read already included with the gun) so use it and replace with a better ETU once it breaks.

    Been a user of WE since the closed bolt era, but i'm now swapping to TM as I don't have to stick with a single, shit aftermarket option (note, not upgrade, aftermarket, as they're anything but upgrades). Also another consideration, WE V2 (what most retailers in the UK have in stock at the moment, and what all used sales will be) is now end of life, as V3 has been released 4-5 months ago. There isn't enough information on the reliability of V3 to be able to recommend them, and V2 parts ceased being manufactured 3 months prior to the first production runs of V3, so parts will start to become more scarce.

    Modern stuff is cool, but consider a classic M4A1, I spent loads on bits over the years but ended up full circle and it's actually my favourite mostly tm stock parts, the BCM is VFC with real BCM rail, buffer, grip stock, steel barrel, 4UAD hop unit etc, but just can't beat the GWOT look and the performance of the mws.
