Three MWSs. The mk12 is semi-locked and run as a DMR, but the others are 1.14J with the fun switch and no MED. Got a carry handle + 4x repro colt scope and the relevant handguards for if I want to turn the m16a4 into an a1 (Vietnam filmsim) or a2 (90s filmsim). I don't care if the Hogue grip isn't period accurate, A2 pistol grips suck and I hate them Outside my m700s, these are the other guns I tend to use a lot. I like my gas guns!4 points

Anyone else been scammed by Bespoke Airsoft?
Nick G and 3 others reacted to Jez_Armstrong for a topic
I made an order with them and didn't get scammed as such, the gun I ordered was plastic and advertised as metal, I returned it and got a refund But to be fair the issue with the gun being plastic wasn't their fault, as the description was pulled from Iwholesales, anyone who stocked that gun also used their description, bespoke changed their description whereas other companies still haven't4 points -
Really annoying when dealers state items in stock, you order and pay, then wait, only to be told they actually have to be obtained from a wholesaler or some other excuse. 😤3 points

Anyone else been scammed by Bespoke Airsoft?

Hello. I'm 52, dress up as a space soldier, and play hide-and-seek with toy guns. What @Tackle said, just initiate a Section 75 or a debit card chargeback. Don't get into deep details. I wouldn't even mention the return, just "I bought goods, I have neither the goods nor the money, seller is not contactable." Let them tell their side. You might be surprised how quickly you get contacted by Bespoke to resolve it, but I'd stress, do not drop the case until you have working goods, or a full refund, no matter what you're promised.3 points -

Well, I think I'm safe in saying this, but I'd say the issue was 100% their fault as Bespoke Airsoft and iWholesales are both in the same building and run by the same people. Here's some evidence for you... https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/07676829 https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/11367833 ... and you can use Google Street View to see the building they're both in with all of their signage. There will be very specific reasons why James / Jaeger Precision split with them, I think there was bad blood / something in the relationship went wrong. Personally I'd go nowhere near Bespoke Airsoft since he left them.3 points -

When you talk to the bank the chargeback is also known as a ‘section 75’ which may help you clarify what you want to them. Appreciate you posting this, definitely a shop I won’t be buying from ever.3 points -

Hey all, Just thought I'd drop something in here to say hi! Coming back to the sport after a long hiatus (you never quit, you just take long breaks). Used to roll around at Gunman Tuddenham, the disused RAF Upwood base (forgot the name of the people who used to run it!) and semi recently Mad Dog Airsoft. Have booked in at Blackstone/White Sphere Tactical for early next month so ready to dust the cobwebs off and get into a CQB game. Looking into getting UKARA defence and purchasing a new RIF (sick of rentals). Will be posting in another topic about that soon though! Anyway, nice to meet you all. If there are any other Cambs players on here, let's chat!2 points

This was Defcon airsoft. Offered either waiting for a couple of weeks, ( heard that before) or a refund. Choose the refund option. I could wait I suppose, but it’s the principal of misleading the public that annoys me.2 points

Best check their website then - often indoors sites only allow a max BB weight of .25g. The advice to go heavy on BB weight is more aimed at outdoor play, where the extra range, punch, and resistance to wind etc benefits a heavier BB. Indoors, I actually prefer a .20g bb, as ranges are short, they hurt people less, and they are faster to target.2 points -

Your doing fine, thanks for sharing your experience with us. Don't waste any more time trying to speak to bespoke, I'm assuming you paid via debit or credit card, get on to the banks fraud department, explain the situation, including the non existent parcel force numbers & ask for a charge back. Same if you used PayPal, initiate a dispute & let it run until you've been refunded. Good luck👍 PS don't mention faulty GUN, call it faulty or damaged goods etc, don't want to spook whoever on the other end of the phone.2 points -

Annoying and deceptive. I'd just start the process of getting a refund immediately. If it's generic gear and trinkets, you can often find it on AliExpress where they are at least a bit more honest about availability, delivery and costs.1 point

ASG AI MK13 Compact Sniper Rifle

ASG officially licensed ASG AI MK13 Compact Sniper Rifle – easily the nicest spring sniper I’ve ever had my hands on. Now seemingly hard to get (ASG have stopped making them). I purchased this 2nd hand from Discord (before all sales were removed from there) and the previous owner had upgraded a few parts – the spring, and the trigger, but I don’t have details to tell you what they are. The trigger upgrade means there is no safety on the weapon (I don’t see this as an issue on a spring weapon). The rifle has also been modded to take a left handed bolt handle for you lefties out there. I have converted it back to right handed, but the left handed bolt handle is included for any ambidextrous show-offs 🙂 When I originally received the weapon, the bold handle was bent, and so I replaced it with a MUCH better one, which make pulling the weapon much easier. Fires like a dream, but probably needs the hop adjusting as the scope has been on and off of other weapons for a while. Package includes: Nuprol softcase Original mag + 5 other mags (mixed brands) Speed loader Butt plate extender Theta Optics 1.5-5×40 scope (really nice scope) Bipod Sniper’s beanbag Tub of 1000 AI 4.0g BBs Original Allen keys and tools (stored inside the weapon’s dummy mag) Left handed Maple Leaf bolt handle (incase you want to convert to left handed pull) Weapon is collection only – I don’t have the materials to keep this safe in transit. Collection in central Derby. I’m also prepared to knock £40 off if you don’t want the scope!£280

Definitely an APS AKM. If I remember correctly they used to make an EBB version too 🤔 Perhaps switched out the gearbox for something more reliable?1 point

Thanks for the details. As others have posted contact your bank or whoever you paid with and get them to issue a charge back and dont let it go till you have your money back. Don't worry about it we're a right bunch of misfits here. Strangely airsoft seems to attract those with a tism1 point -
No worries about being neurospicy. A few of us are on that spectrum. Did you receive that false reference number via email or by post? If you have that paper trail, you absolutely should put that in your claim, especially when you allege they've given a false number twice - that can easily be perceived by the fraud team as a stalling tactic. While my own experiences with Bespoke Airsoft have been positive (I only buy in person or do click & collect), I've seen a lot more complaints in the past 18 months. I remember one fellow in store who'd spent a small fortune on his gun and rightfully complained about a failed repair on it when he returned to pick it up and tested it on the range.1 point

I'm betting that this will resolve it. I have a few guns that simply won't feed with maple leaf's, although the MR bucking lips are more forgiving that the longer macaron lips. Whilst Maple leaf are my go-to choice, I have also used G&G Green buckings which provide adequate performance and seem (mostly) universally compatible.1 point -

Spotting a clone
nickel0001 reacted to JimFromHorsham for a topic
With the clone wars stronger than ever I thought it might be an idea to have a thread based on how to spot what’s real and what’s not , to be clear this is not a clone bashing thread , but simply a way to hopefully help you get what is advertised , be it parts , optics , lasers/torches or maybe even RIF’s themselves . just because it says Aimpoint/Eotech/Magpul/Surefire doesn’t mean it is , even the packaging is being cloned to a high standard so don’t get get duped . I’ll start with a simple Magpul CTR stock in FDE , there will be better clones than others and I’ve picked a “Tak Tak” variant which retails at around £15-£20 in the UK VS a Gebuine CTR which retails around £75-£80 , the clone Says Magpul on it so in passing looks legit , the biggest tell is usually going to be the colour but as we know everyone’s photos and lighting looks a bit different and if you have nothing genuine to compare to when it arrives you are just taking the sellers word . heres a few comparisons , and highlighted differences between the two which should be easy to spot , Genuine is CTR is either Top or to the Left . main points to note - Genuine will have black tabs where the stock pad locates NOT TAN Genuine will have a molding mark on the underside , oval shaped . Genuine stock pad will have an “F” in the lower right hand side “pocket” Text spacing , the Genuine will be bolder and spaced correctly Length , generally the Clones will be a touch longer . Extra Text , the genuine will have extra text in the lower frame , plus batch / manufacturing numbers just above the locking lever . Hope this helps , as time permits I will add more comparisons .1 point -

Dying for for Emperor at Biohazard 2. It went great after I gave up on trying to defog my eyepro and just switched to mesh. The most remarkable thing was the countdown timer to the next game, which meant actual 10 minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch (plus wrangling time). Klaxons and everything. All sites should have this, no exceptions, no excuses.1 point

My primary (currently only RIF) LCT AIMS with real wood hand guard set. Never used the drum mag in anger, just think it looks cool. Internally just "upgraded" to be reliable/decent performance. No mosfet or electrickery. I also have the LCT AIMS-M4 buffer tube stock adapter, so this is easy to dress up in a tactical look with 1 screw on the stock and a change of the handguards.1 point -
