I occasionally mention my time in the TA but would never claim to be a veteran of any kind, I usually stress that it was the TA incase anyone suspects I'm a Walter. Closest I ever got to deployment was my call up papers for the first Gulf War, it was over before we even got in a landy. I see how many Reservists actually get deployed these days & feel embarassed about my service.2 points -
Been looking at one of those too - called the TTI Infinity IIRC? Fits 1911s which i'm looking at getting. They're £10 cheaper on Skirmshop if you're bothered. I've used the TTI TDC VSR hop unit in my sniper and it works a treat so I can't see the pistol one being poor.2 points

He's very successful charging people for more when basically he puts a logo on guns. He's ike Umarex or Cybergun in one person. That guy is full of controversy. Templars Gear fiasco is a good example of that.2 points -

Bloody hell that's fugly. I always thought he comes across as a bit of a tit in his videos but I can't really fault him for wanting to make a living from the hobby (I'm sure we all would if we could). Yes his stuff is all just cheap rebrands with a big mark up, but nobody is forced to buy it. What gets my goat is the cult of personality his sickophantic followers have built up around him. Edit: from a quick Google search he has been caught out writing and posting "independent" reviews of his products under a different name2 points -

I puzzled on this quite a lot on the drive home. The only thought I had was that they favour slower ‘filmsim’ games, rather than all out skirmish action. And that maybe, there’s just less interest in it? They also don’t have many structures built, like huts or trenches. Also with games only once a month it will be tough to build up regulars. But Imperium (not that far up the road) is the same on all three counts and they seem to pull in 100+.2 points -

Bear Paw SVU GBB Package
CRTHayes reacted to Killer Adam for a topic
Just curious to see what my Bear Paw SVU could sell for (Aluminium receiver, Steel barrel and muzzle device). Has the following: 7 gas tight mags with 4 double mag pouches in digital flora pattern, Orga magnus wide-bore barrel with autobot 60 deg bucking, fitted NPAS and 3D printed speed loader. Original inner barrel / bucking, rocket valve, and original Aluminium outer barrel and muzzle device included. Original box with manual. The scope is a real steel PSO-01 which has the IR detector switch for NVG compatibility and to detect opposing snipers IR illuminator. The range finder goes down to 1000 metre instead of the usual 400 metre commonly found in the 1M2 models. Original turret protectors, original rubber eye piece, and a 3.5v to 1.5v LED converter (Illumination now works perfectly and runs on AA batteries). *Due to this not being a sales post, I have an older picture of the package with my Discord username.1 point -
Just wondering what these would go for. X2 Western Arms Wilson Combat "Professional" compact 1911s. No leaks on the mags. The silver 1911 is boxed and in "as new" condition, never skirmished. It is gorgeous. The black 1911 is excellent condition too. Both are SCW. Just trying to work out how much I should suggest for them?1 point
-
Yeah. They're ABS, maybe heavyweight ABS. Do you have the boxes? I'd say start at £150/£160 but maybe expect to drop a bit as there's not much of a market for WA stuff in the UK anymore, as lovely as they are. Maybe try and get some eyes on them from EU collectors.1 point

WE Mk3 Browning Hi Power Comes with 2 magazines and Genuine PLCE Holster and case Good condition with nice trades, some marks from use and everything working as it should. Like all we hi powers it needs cocking before loading a magazine as that can break the Valve knocker, which a spare is included. Also like the real thing it can only be fired with magazine inserted or by pressing down on a lever in the magwell. Any questions please send me a message £100 posted UK mainland only. Thank you.£100

Sounds like everyone's well up for supporting this site, apart from a couple of choke area's there must be other reasons players don't visit often enough & it's struggling. Can I suggest while you play there, consciously look for potential reasons and let the site owners know, people can be blinkered when it comes to their business/dream and they might not be aware why it's not 'working' for other airsofters.1 point -

Bro what. I submitted an offer of the asking price (£130) last time you had this listed. The second I asked you for more pictures of the gun so I could see potential wear and tear, you left the conversation in the messages without replying. Edit: 7/11/24 - paid for after extra pics and timestamp provided. Lets see how this goes.1 point -

Hmmm.. I might order a set myself. And if the puncture pin can be removed, It might be worth seeing if I can retap the threads for the larger cartridges1 point
-
Ordered a couple of these to try. If they work then I should be able to use a much wider range of capsules. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C7Z3N8TY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title I'll report back once thet arrive, but I'm thinking that 25g capsules might be worth a go. It looks as though they use the same thread as the 12g ones. But if not then 2 12g should last a game . I have a 33g capsule, so can check the thread size once the adapters arrive.1 point

Very cool, but... Any chance you could have all the mags facing all the same way in the triple mag pouch?1 point -
I've wanted a G3 for the best part of 20 years, not sure why it's taken me this long to finally get one, and by one.. I mean a G3 and all the bits n bobs to claim five guns in one 😁 - such a modular system for it's time 😎 Started off life as a Classic Army G3SG1 Standard G3A3 config with the slim hand-guard, no rail up top, bare bones... still probably my favourite config (LCT hand-guard and stock added) : G3A4 with slim hand-guard: This is how I've currently got it setup... but where does the battery go? 🙃 Then we have the A4 with the wide hand-guard; with bipod in this case, technically making it the cod4 configuration I believe: Then the A3 with wide hand-guard - my least favourite config tbh: And then finally the G3SG1 : A few notes and ramblings on this project: By some measurements of an HK RIF this CA was a piece of crap - cocking lever made of literal margarine came flying off after maybe 5 slaps... wth is the point in having an HK replica if I can't slap the crap out of it. Anyway replaced that with a steel LCT cocking lever. slap slap slap slap... too many times a day 😏 - needed some minor modding to fit well with the CA cocking tube. The LCT furniture is NOT compatible with the CA (TM) style body and front set - both slim hand-guard and OD stock needed an annoying amount of dremeling and filing to get them to fit - but they did... eventually. LCT ribbed magazine also needed work - too tight of a fit for the CA metal body - filing of the shell needed as well as the well known fix for LCT mags - shim up from the bottom to raise the feed lips to get it to feed reliably. I've wired in a second battery harnesses through the receiver - one to the front for A4 and one to the back for A3 configs respectively. A4 stock mod 1 - added lock grooves all the way along the sliders to allow one inch increment stock position adjustments, the Original A4 stock had two positons, fully open or fully closed - I like to run mine 1-2 inches shorter than fully open: A4 stock mod 2 - I love the look of these, however they are quite uncomfortable as they sit into your collar bone, firing a real .308 off of one must be nasty. Replaced the hard rubber but pad with an inch of EVA foam cut to shape and screwed in using the original holes: I plan to add some sort of cheek riser/pad to the A4 system, thinking maybe canibolising an SVD one 🤔 Finally the most annoying mod I had to carry out was to excavate five tons of material out of the LCT slim hand-guard in order to fit a 1300mah 11.1v lipo inside around the barrel - but it's working great now and surprisingly is not that difficult to get the battery in.1 point

Was pretty hesitant on using AliEx for a while, but the one thing I've been needing to add to my whole gun collection is more/better optics as I'd had the same couple of red dots/scopes for years and would swap them between guns, but that was getting tiresome and they were all pretty long in the tooth anyway. After spending a while learning to navigate the weird way that shops on said site are laid out and (mostly) getting to grips with what product is actually what (because there's loads of store fronts all advertising the same physical products but at slightly different prices), I placed a few orders while on a nice little 4-month excursion work sent me on. Picked up clones of the Leupold HAMR and LCO (D-EVO still incoming), latest Spuhr mount, Elcan Spectre 1x/4x, Vortex Razor 1-6 w/Geissele mount, ACOG TA-02 and an Aimpoint 3x magnifier. Plus the below EoTech and other Vortex bits. Also swung by Negative Airsoft today, he'd done some work on my Scorpion Evo, my old CA M15 and I'd commissioned a borderline scratch-build M4A1 AEG. Technically it started as a CYMA Daniel Defense Mk18, but I think the GB casing, buffer tube and a few other small gearbox internals and tiny screws are all that's left of the original gun. Long story as to why, but there were many reasons rest assured. I still 'need' to change the OB, handguard, pistol grip and stock (and maybe other little things down the line) to my own parts to make this my ideal early-2000s America's Army M4A1 but that stuff I can easily do myself. Whereas I don't have the skill, desire or parts inventory to work on AEG guts and the gun is already sounding/shooting absolutely tip-top.1 point
