I don't get the hype over the new vorsk smg. more people getting into GBBRs is a really good thing imo, but not if they're burned by a bad purchase. But this is an old platform, cloned and made to look not quite like what it should and then sold by a company that has really questionable QC and it's being paraded around as a new thing. It's not even particularly cheap. Am I missing something?

Why are we only ever hearing one player complain ?, what nobody else who plays the site ever gets bruises or feels some gats, hpa in particular, are running hot. Nope. My only other thought is that words got around, & he's getting the kind of well deserved special treatment usually reserved for segregated prisoners & TV presenters? ?

I bled this Sunday just gone, from AEG fire at medium range (See my aggression thread in off topic). Sometimes that's just how it goes, the right shot at the right angle on the wrong patch of skin. If you don't like bruises and cuts you're playing the wrong game. Don't take up Paintball. Maybe take up Nerf. Careful though, some players put it stronger springs.

Why would HPA make any difference in the size of welt your getting? There’s literally no difference in how they behave when compared to a well tuned AEG / GBBR. If your concerned about them fiddling with the power, call the marshals out on it, it’s their job to keep everybody within limits.

does it? because if they have a problem with hpa players then lowering the limits for those players will be as effective as a lower speed limit sign is at preventing speeding...... ahh, so you do understand that hpa in and of itself isn't the problem, it's the person operating it....... yes, i get how annoying it is to play somewhere with regular occurrences of players who are, one way or another, being assholes. but there's only 1 option available that you can do to fix it, and that's to move, either to a better site or if that's not an option move out of the hobby. because people will always be the worst kind of people and there ain't no changing that.

Too right. The number of times I've taken a tumble, and hurt myself to protect the pew are too many to count. I have a video of one doing a drinks can at 27m. I'd got my phone in my left hand, AMT hardballer in the right and did it first go. Very, very smooth, well made and accurate airsoft gun. Like a luxury TM. They are still going and you can still get parts, they're just a small, niche concern now. A few things turned up from Evike Europe today and now I feel like a very special little snowflake (because who runs an m40a3 these days, let alone a gas one). I've wanted an airsoft m40a3 or m40a5 for over a decade and I'm glad I finally got one that is good! Most of the m40s around aren't to my liking (none of them are properly VSR compatible), but this one... I love the KJW/Tanaka m700 platform, and it's just that with a fancy m40a3/5 stock and shorter outer barrel. All that's left for this build is a nice Vortex scope and it'll be completely done! Also will test out this adjustable bolt over the weekend. I think it will still require the gas routers to do most of the heavy lifting, but the screw in the bolt itself looks like it could be useful for fine tuning when I need to drop or gain like 0.1J or so a bit more consistently than adjusting the hammer spring tension. Now I just need to get a few parts to finish the other m700...

If Anzio's got lower limits for HPA, prob best you play there in future. You do bruise like a peach though, I play loads of CQB and while I look like I've done 10 rounds with a swarm of mozzies the day after as I only wear a thin top to avoid overheating, there's nothing like that bruise around it. Plenty of those HPA boys at my CQB too, never had any issues. Only had a BB break skin once when I got shot just above the eyebrow, I do believe that was fired from a GBBR.

The G43 arrived yesterday and here's how it looks with the FTC mount Picture is clear and it's not overly heavy. The FTC has a slight wobble both when extended and retracted, but I don't think it's gonna annoy me too much At about € 100 for the lot, can't really complain.

I have had good finish's using auto paint and sealers in the past with trial and error if mat camo colours are not what you are after.

I've yet to have first hand experience, but I do travel through their favourite London areas frequently. I'm not sure how I would react, but those oil based banners and high vis vests may be used as a weapon against them. Have thought about signing myself up to one of their training days and taking some used oil from my van and giving them a taste of their own medicine. I'm all for saving the planet - hell, I drive an electric car, install heat pumps and have been ahead of the curve with domestic heating controls for 15 years. Nothing (& no one) is perfect, but until there's a better alternative to PayPal g&s, I'll stick with it, in fact whenever I'm paying for something online, even very well known secure sites, I'll still look to see if PayPal is an option, it's another layer of protection to fall back on if needed.

Driver Wood is my local site, and i really enjoy it. Its a great site, plenty of thick vegetation to allow sneaky three dimensional play, interspersed with open areas to add variety. Definitely don't write it off - from all that I've been to, its by far the most professionally run and managed, and the safe zone feels, well, safe. In a year and a half of going there, I've only ever witnessed one proper argument between players, and I can't fault the manner in which the marshals reacted to that situation - ultimately though, I appreciate there is only so much that they can do. Seeing that kind of behaviour definitely leaves a bad taste, but it really isn't something I see as endemic to Driver Wood. I tend to go only to the morning sessions, plausibly people might be a little more level headed when they are less tired?

But that's exactly what you did. But a simple phone call is usually all that's needed, if that doesn't work then by all means, take it to to e mails. Perhaps you can use this as a lesson not to make assumptions and jump to incorrect conclusions in future

Western Arms are really, really nice, and were the go to around 15 years ago, however the spares/upgrade parts have completely dried up, rendering them pretty much a wall hanger now. I recently rebuilt one that I had to buy a donor gun just to get running again. If you want something that you can fix or upgrade if it breaks, get something TM based…

I'd be tempted to find a good used Western Arms. Or buy one from the factory, but that'll be expensive. Hard to explain but they're like a much nicer TM.
