Strike Industries TM MWS completed(?) Might experiment with a small red dot or something, but I can't see it changing much more than that. Started in March last year! Time flies. Love how it turned out. To match, also built a Strike Industries TM G17 (decided to not go with the EMG/G&P prebuilt one in the end). Waiting on a nicer red dot to arrive, but God knows when that will be. Make quite a nice pair!

  2. Last Sunday was my first day back, after a hiatus of several months, partly due to lack of funds but also issues with an old back injury. Eased mysely back in with a DMR day, so a nice gentle pace, no running around. A mild jog at most. 4 knife kills in the first game of the morning! Ohh, it's good to be back! A few tag round kills, and some lucky long range DMR shots, resulted in a massive grin plastered across my face. Played one game after lunch and tyhen my back said "I'm gonna ruin your day if you don';t stop now", so I called it and took photos the rest of the day. It was FANFUCKINGTASTIC to be back, and I'm playing again tomorrow, a squad of 8 of us in fact, all with comms. Should be a giggle. Hopefully my back will hold up better now I'm exercising again.

  3. I paid a visit to Camo CQB in Canvey Island last night and overall it was a great evening. If found the site well laid out, considering the size, and the staff and players were friendly. My only gripes were the late start (however this was made up for by finishing later too) and that in the last game some of the hit taking was questionable. All in all I think I'll be going back at some point

Got it, hit it with the blow torch to melt the glue under it. What a bitch that was! But indeed it is a standard thread

    Looking for a GBBR *SWAPS*

    This advert is COMPLETED!

    • Swap only
    • Used

I am on the search for a GBBR, I’m pretty open to options but would be chuffed with an MP7 (WE / VFC / TM) or M4 (WE etc). I’ve posted 3 of my AEG’s which I would be willing to part with (negotiable depending on your GBBR and price etc). If interested I will provide a complete breakdown of the individual pew pew, but briefly from the top the options are an A&K ACR ‘Masada’, an Army Armament AUG A1 ‘Commando / Para’ and a Tokyo Marui M16A1. if interested please pop me a message and we will go from there, thanks in advance 😀

  7. sort of yes and sort of no. whilst yes a bb will be using gas for its propulsion, if you consider the effeciency of nbb platforms versus blowbacks it's evident that the lions share of gas usage in the gbb is in actually cycling the thing, and tests with no bb fired do still demonstrate that the relevant sealing surfaces are doing a decent job of not sending half the reservoir into the atmosphere every shot. that said, an element that firing a bb will bring to the table is an increase in backpressure, one thing i found running heavier than your average ammo in pistols is that one side effect is the bulging (and i've heard albeit only anecdotally catastrophic bursting) of the nozzle due to the pressure, needless to say, this is gonna be putting more strain on the sealing surfaces which wouldn't be there in a dry fire test.

  8. +1 Ultrair doesn’t have any lube in it so it’s good for hop consistency. I’ve used it in freezing conditions in the MP7 without issue, though in pistols it’s definitely a 10°C or higher gas

Thanks for the help No grub screw or cross pin. And because of the model no wrench point. Just a perfectly round three prong.

If it's like the rest of the WE M4 range it'll be a ccw thread. Have you looked to see if there is a grubscrew locking the flash hider on ?

C&C Tac short bolt. They're a bit of a pain to get working & C&C Tac themselves told me each bolt should be considered a project, rather than a drop in. But they're cool once they do work! Dytac F4 receiver. I got it from one of the Hong Kong stores, probably JKArmy or WGC, would need to check. They were limited edition though and haven't been back in stock since I got mine. AsiaAirsoft's site claims to have one, but it is a stock tracking error unfortunately & they're terrible with refunds. I've been waiting for about a month for them to refund me... Dytac do make SLR receivers too, which seem to be frequently restocked, so that could be an option. Let me know if you have any other questions & I'll try help out. Cheers!

WIFE: "Then why wouldn't you remarry?" HUSBAND: "Okay, okay, I'd get married again." WIFE: "You would?"(with a hurt look) HUSBAND: (makes audible groan) WIFE: "Would you live in our house?" HUSBAND: "Sure, it's a great house.." WIFE: "Would you sleep with her in our bed?" HUSBAND: "Where else would we sleep?" WIFE: "Would you let her drive my car?" HUSBAND: "Probably, it is almost new." WIFE: "Would you replace my pictures with hers?" HUSBAND: "That would seem like the proper thing to do.." WIFE: "Would you give her my jewelry?" HUSBAND: "No, I'm sure she'd want her own." WIFE: "Would you take her golfing with you? HUSBAND: "Yes, those are always good times." WIFE: "Would she use my clubs? HUSBAND: "No, she's left-handed." WIFE: --silence-- HUSBAND: "Shit.

  15. I've got the best eye pro, quality boots, every inclement weather layer one could ever desire, the list goes on... this week it was time to buy stuff that I bloody loved in video games as a young teenager in the late 90s/early 00s; stuff thats totally superfluous and I'm not sure I'll ever use (I think around that age is when we lock in our lifetime fascinations with things right?). Now, who's put a scope on top of their deagle?

  17. The lad and I wandered over to Airsoft Plantation on Sunday although, unbeknownst to each other, neither of us really felt up for it when we set off. However, it turned out to be a cracking day; about 120 people were present and a good variety of games were played, covering most of the rather large site throughout the day; the fallback/bomber game was particularly good fun, both when played as the attackers and as the defenders. The level of play was very good overall, with only a few hit taking issues, which were dealt with very robustly by the marshals, which was good to see. It also gave me an opportunity to test the latest iteration of the hand crafted steel COL for my Ares SLR; after a few issues last time out, the very subtle modifications that I had made to its profile paid off and it ran flawlessly. It was only on the journey home that we discovered that neither of us had felt like going in the morning; however, we were both very glad that we had. The next day out will be Tower Airsoft later this month; no game for us this coming weekend as we will be walking and wild-camping on Dartmoor. Guns used: Me: Ares L1A1 Hurricane Kit/G&P SR47 DBoys AKMS Milbro Classic M1911 CO2 (It really is crap!) The lad: E&L/CYMA AK74 CYMA AKS74U ASG Commander XP18 CO2

  19. So I played what may have been the best game mode I have ever played yesterday. The basic premise is a scientist (a marshal, Sam) that needs to be escorted across the site perpendicular to both team's spawns. He could be shot in the legs to stop him for 10 seconds, and was armed with multiple grenades. So it starts off with yellow having a slight advantage in terrain, so they managed to nab him first. But the best part of the game was Sam playing the part of the most squirrely, annoying, uncooperative scientist of all time, and it was goddamn hilarious. He managed to get away from yellow and ran back to his starting area, so our team (Blue) grabbed him. I let off some red smokes to stop them pushing us, and we still spent spent maybe 10 minutes, at some point literally, dragging him up the hill. We were basically playing a game of gun roulette as we switched out who was dragging him up the hill. At one point we got ambushed and he got away, where the yellow team grabbed him again. And again his being difficult helped us, in that he got away from the yellow, and a couple of my friends ended up lifting him up and carrying him towards the objective. It didn't stop here though, after we got him over the ridgeline he managed to take out his multi-use grenade and we spent another good 10 minutes holding his hands closed, dragging him towards the drop off point, with him occasionally dropping a grenade, killing the escorts, and being pelted in the legs to stop him getting away. All while we had to hold of the yellow team from grabbing him. I was completely out of ammo by the end. I had two pistol rounds and a grenade to help defend, getting ready to just run in with said grenade when we managed to secure the win. And it wouldn't be right to tell you all this without linking to our resident youtuber who uploaded all this action in record time! It was an absolute blast, everything airsoft should be.

    What have you made?

Spent a few days to find a solution and closest one was 200 pound wall unit which you can see it in shops so I said fuck it I will build my own. Ordered some pegboards from ikea and liberated some timber from my workplace. I don't know how stable is I may die in my sleep when it falls apart. 🤣

  22. What's next? Shooting you bad? Haha yeah. I did ask a marshall at last bunker day if he would be so kind as to tell the chaps at the other end of a tunnel to stop fuckin' shooting me as it was pissing me off and ruining my game.He said he would have a word.....they obviously didn't listen! 😂😂
