  7. Hei, I'm John from tacticalbrute.com. I'm posting this for all of you because our blog is looking for new writers and content contributors. We are looking for people who either have a military background, are seasoned airsoft players, or have some expertise in other military/outdoors-related fields (such as survival, shooting, prepping, hunting, etc.). A little bit about TacticalBrute: We are a military/outdoors-themed blog led by ex-military and outdoors enthusiasts that primarily focuses on articles about airsoft and tactical gear. But we strive to become the best information source for all things related to military/shooting/gear etc. We write about tactical gear setup and loadout guides, tips based on real-life experience, airsoft guides, other info articles, various product reviews about airsoft guns & equipment, and different tactical gear (such as plate carriers, battle belts, pouches, holsters and etc.) Currently, we have five content contributors from the US and Estonia, who all have military backgrounds. So, if you are interested in writing about airsoft, tactical gear, or other military-outdoors subjects, or you just have some cool/useful tips you would like to share with likeminded people, then reach out at: [email protected]

  8. If you are looking for a range upgrade try a new hop rubber and maybe a bucking. I like the maple leaf macron buckings but have a look around and see what you want, everyone has their own preferences and most of the aftermarket ones that are decent quality will work. Your hop unit and hop rubber are responsible for probably about 90% of your range and accuracy. Barrels can sometimes make a difference if the stock on is bent or broken or really low quality, but most of the time they are fine and not really worth the upgrade price/performance wise. If you just want to then I would suggest get a stainless barrel like the ZCI inner barrels. They are cheap, good quality and stainless is a lot more resistant to damage/wear than brass or aluminium barrels. if you value reliability then I would suggest leaving your gearbox stock. Unless you are unlucky or have a serious amount of wear on the gearbox then stock will be most reliable. If something breaks then you could look at upgrading internals, but if you have never done it before you are more likely to make your replica less reliable rather than more reliable. If you want to start learning to work on your airsoft replicas, I would suggest getting a second cheap gun to do it on. Leave your best gun stock as a backup and mess around with something you can afford to break while maintaining a stock reliable gun. You don’t want to miss out on a whole day of airsoft just because your only gun broke. In my experience it doesn’t matter how well your gun is built something will go wrong at some point and you will be grateful for a reliable backup gun. There is always the temptation to push everything to the limits if you are β€˜upgrading anyway’ you might as well go for max performance…this inevitably leads to a less reliable gun (don’t ask me how I know πŸ˜‚)

  9. Welcome (back) πŸ˜‰ (I haven't been since 2019 either) Hopefully someone with local knowledge will help with site recommendations. You can also check HERE in the meantime. You may struggle with an AEP for CQB as its cycle time is quite long and speed is of the essence in that environment. And it certainly won't work for outdoors I'm afraid. Even though its a pain in the wallet, it really is best to rent for the first 3 games. You'll get to see what others have and maybe have a go with a few if you ask nicely.

  11. FORUM MODERATORS: Can sale items marked as completed have the 'message seller' button removed, or after a while be deleted. I have had repeated emails asking if a shotgun I sold 2 years ago is still available. 2 in the last couple of months...

  12. The website bears no correlation to the marketing / recruitment spiel here - anyone who touts a fire selector as a 'standout feature' needs to actually read what they're copying and pasting from other areas of the internet.

  14. Wow, this has gone down about as well as when someone signs up just to recruit for a team and makes a long list of stringent demands, they expect applicants to adhere to.

  15. I'd say the best thing you cam do with that blog is delete the whole steaming turd of a site. A prime example is this quote. "As mentioned previously, eye injuries are the most common type of injury that can occur in airsoft" In 18 years of playing Alex Brooker could count the number of eye injuries I've seen on one hand This. Or are you doing the old pay in exposure bullshit?

  16. Your content is currently pretty laughable. Best aeg is a lancer tactical!?! It looks like you want some serious content on there to better hide your currently painfully obvious affiliate marketing business model. This isn't the forum if you just want people to say nice things or nothing at all. Best of luck with the money making.....I mean blogging.

  17. Just an SEO affiliate website hoping to pick up traffic from people googling "what am best gnu" etc. Almost all "top 10 best _____" lists you find, for any niche (even stuff like washing machines lol) will usually be an affiliate. And most affiliates won't be 'experts' in their niche, they'll have multiple sites across one or more niches and just copy and paste / rehash as much information as they can find on google or get from the product supplier. Buyers beware! πŸ˜‚

  20. That's bullshit, even the short HK416C rail (from all manufacturers) is different in profile at the front Some of what he's selling are just two-tone re-sprays - namely the P90 (screws are still blue), the MP5 and the AK. Real dick move to not even mention that in the descriptions.

  23. for a support gun there's not really much call for anything more than your basic contact-saving mosfet. motor wise as mentioned above brushless would be an option for more longevity, certainly make servicing a bit cleaner what with not spewing carbon everywhere. rof wise there's arguments that speed chasing on an lmg is counter productive, and will in any case be likely more limited by the magazine than the gearbox. as with any gun it'll benefit from a good consistent air seal, but given the higher ammo consumption of support guns lot of folks won't be running the heavies for cost reasons which would put a ceiling on how far it's worth chasing perfect accuracy.

  24. Pretty sure your wrong, & even if your not, the last bit definitely fails the "attitude test", which as everyone knows, the plod will always win in the long run, if there isn't a precise law to combat an airsoft related "offence", a loosely fitting one will be made to fit lol. Plus when it comes to Airsoft, we need people on our side, especially the police & other figures of authority, otherwise every negative police report is another nail in the coffin for Airsoft in its current form, not something I want to see change.
