  3. If this is your first entry into airsoft don't be disheartened, even if you don't want my arp9 try someting else, there are plenty of 'sports' rif's around the same price range either second hand or new (two toned), buying new you'll need a UKARA registration but if you invest that money into the 3 game days you'll need at a registered site & hire the kit you need then you'll have a better idea of whether you want to buy your own rif again.

  6. Out of interest, how much did you pay for it and how much is he giving you back? If you were local, I would offer to sort it out for you for the cost of any parts used, even though I dislike Gate ETUs. However, given the cost of postage in both directions, that probably isn't viable. As the Butcher has said, don't let this put you off; he has also given you good advice.

  7. The whole reason why the business model works....is being good at understanding the value of items on the used market. It's not as though I'm picking these up for £500 and trying to flip them for an extra £1000. Similar packages fetch similar amounts in places all over Europe and the USA. The buyers decide the market for these. Okay, you ask someone to custom machine, or cheaper still, stamp these items out of steel. I'm sure it will be far cheaper than even paying for the ever increasing Groza prices.

  8. Honestly, you're a tad biased given its your business model. Maybe worth staying out of this one, hmm? The point where I listen to a retailer on what is a fair price, is the day I stop playing airsoft.

    Well Pro XM5/M7 GBBR

Looks like Well Pro are joining Toxicant and APFG and doing a GBBR XM5/M7. It will probably use VFCs 7.62 platform as a base considering Well Pro's existing relationship with VFC's parts so no doubt better than Toxicant's somewhat pants effort.

  15. Yeah just CNC a handguard that's a great idea. 90% material wastage lmfao. There's a reason machine shops will laugh you out the door if you bring CAD files intended for 3DP to a CNC house. Additive and subtractive manufacturing are completely different, and on top of that most machine shops will just not bother with a single run batch of possible firearms parts. Not worth the money or hassle.

If its the nuprol universal holster, you can adjust the retention with the screws in the sides. If you plan on running a pistol light on it in the future, you can get either the blackhawk omnivore (quite spendy) or the aliexpress clone (not so spendy) which are vastly better than anything on the nuprol vein.

    WE Sig F226 MK25

Had one a good while ago, WE do make a few decent pistols (and some truly awful ones) and the sig imo is kinda upper mid. trigger is awful, the pot metal slide doesnt do the gas effeciency any favours, it doesnt like the cold much although the bb lobbing capacity for spaced out shots can be made good with @GiantKiwi's suggested hop/barrel combo (although i go for shimming under the hop arm rather than changing it) + some good ammo. Good as a holster filler/occasional pot-shot gun but a tm is going to be better if you're planning anything more than that. A minor point is there were 2 rail variants (afaik based on rs but thats citation needed) one with a curved rail and one with the more standard square rail (as you have pictured). I had the latter and some holsters moulded for the former are a tight fit until they get bedded in but at least it fits standard accessories more readily.

I've got one . Fitted a Maple leaf barrel , rubber I key and hop wheel to it , as I do on all my pistols , and it's great . My main pistol infact . It's never let me down , has great range and easily lifts .30 BBs . TBF even stock it was acceptable , especially for CQB , for woodland pistol games it did need the M/L bits.

At that price point, you really would be better off just getting a TM one at £10 more - https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/tokyo-marui-sig-sauer-p226-railed-gbb-pistol/ WE P226 is about 90% of a clone of a TM, just some of the more irritating aspects like the blowback chamber are not compatible, so it basically renders it as a one and done pistol with very little in the way of available improvements. The hop wheel on the WE needs replacing with the Maple Leaf one immediately as it doesn't get enough purchase to lift bb's well. Also being WE it's using WE Spec barrel and hop rubber, so not actually TM GBB spec despite appearances, so if you replace the hop rubber, you've got to replace the inner barrel at the same time. WE spec hop rubber + WE spec barrel = OK WE spec hop rubber + TM spec barrel = NO TM spec hop rubber + WE spec barrel = NO TM spec hop rubber + TM spec barrel = OK It's not particularly gas efficient on green gas due the enormous amount of mass in the slide, WE guns in general are designed with Taiwan in mind, where red gas is the norm, even in 35+ degrees C.

  23. While i don't have a FAL to compare i do have a VFC G3. It's built like a tank, really solid with a really nice feel and operation. Mine's used and unfortunately it's totally inconsistent and needs a thorough once over. Obviously the only correct answer is to have one of each. My dad had an FAL before they were banned, so it'd be nice to have one as well.

  26. KoA work drops the price IMO. God I remember some local ijit with an NGRS who had paid for KoA's most expensive package. Trying to shift it for £1800 naked with one mag. Tried claiming that £1000 of KoA upgrades made it a Godkiller that could print sub MoA groups at a mile. Absolute wank.

    THE TM MWS thread

Ok, did some more testing and checked the fill and exit valves. The fill valve is directly threaded into the back face of the magazine and there is no syphon tube so it is easy to completely fill the gas chamber with liquid propane (or near enough!) Meaning there is little gas available for firing a BB, and shots in quick succession lead to a drop in power due to it taking longer to replenish the gas pressure by boiling off the liquid propane. 8-10sec fill seems optimal. The exit valves on one of the mags was a little sticky so I removed it, lubed with very light silicone oil, wiped the excess off, and refitted. Much more consistent FPS and even gained 5FPS due to efficiency. I did the other mag and found it didn’t make much difference, but that one was always working better any way. Hope this helps anyone else who gets the G&P MWS mags and finds some less than great performance.
