    What have you made?

Not me, the wizard @Anonymoose again. He worked some of his spellcraft yesterday, started by trimming down the side locating tabs on 2 different AR AEG outer barrels that weren't quite compatible with the 2 upper receivers in question (noq sit in beautifully), then also fixed some of china's mistakes and drilled some new holes in a QD attachment lever for a PTS Unity Aimpoint micro mount. The big job was converting this real Geissele bolt catch to fit on to an AEG lower (and obviously not protrude inside so there's room for the gearbox). There were MANY steps to this, far more than I've shown, and he also made a custom little piece to sit inside and secure the lever, since a real one would have its' internal segment and a bolt carrier holding it in place.

  3. "Made" a locking pin to lock my SCAR-H MK20 to semi-only for DMR use. Very basic; drilled and tapped the selector cam and used a machined bolt to hit that rear pin in semi so the selector can't turn any further. Gonna take it to RIFT tomorrow and hopefully get some kills in with it.

  11. I hate to play againts these paintball based players with their modifyed hpa pistols. Where I live sites are too small and full of these players. and I am there with my MWS setup 8 mags 10kg gear in total try to out run these players. Seems like they got unlimited ammo meanwhile I count every shot... Please can someone suggest me a good Mil-sim site around South buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire

  12. I have an MP5 NGRS but the front space looks much the same. I use these, but you could probably get something slightly larger in: https://www.vapextech.co.uk/airsoft-7-4v-1300mah-25c-lipo-cranstock-battery-with-case-lp302-vapextech

  14. I didn't get out of the safe zone today at Worthing Airsoft. The rifle that I let my friend borrow was... really dirty as it turns out. Took it on the range and my shots were going everywhere, so I had to take it apart, give the hop rubber and barrel a good clean and make sure the grub screws that held the barrel in were nice and tight as they were loose and the barrel was moving. Once I did all of that, got it properly set up and chrono'd, it was basically lunch time and I couldn't be bothered to get all my kit out to go and play for the afternoon, however it was shooting really nicely again once I did all that; though it was hard to properly zero because it was quite breezy today. Also, my newly upgraded, but very old Bell 1911 worked really well with the new upgrades, though with how cold it was this morning it struggled to get through a magazine with that tiny gas reservoir...

  15. Not sure if these need 7.4v or 11.1v (I'd always go for 7.4v to be safe but someone will confirm) I'd suggest something like: https://www.vapextech.co.uk/airsoft-7-4v-2600mah-25c-lipo-cranstock-battery-with-case-lp305-vapextech The Milliampere Hours (mah) determines how much total power a battery holds (ie how long it will last) The C rating determines how much power it can deliver per trigger pull (20c is the lowest and 30c is usually the highest you can get) Remember you will need a GOOD intelligent charger to take care of these batteries and prevent fire. This is the cheapest I can find with a quick search. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-accucell-us-plug-c150-ac-dc-10a-150w-smart-balance-charger.html

  16. Also to reiterate what Rogerborg said: If you leave something in your basket for over 24hrs they usually offer you a discount.

  17. I definitely had the wrong WE adapter version though, someone else with a WE XM177 was having hop issues but otherwise running flawlessly, but their (newer gen) airtac adapter was running on 120psi. Mine has to run on 180 to cycle.

    Well Pro AK12 GBBR

It's worth noting that he does sell these as part of his job, with anything of a 'first batch' nature the usual argument of 'he wouldn't sell it if it sucked' doesn't really hold up unfortunately, so perhaps a pinch of salt is advised. I'm still planning to get their PP19 when it comes out, but I haven't really seen enough yet to say enough about wellpro's capability aside from the teething issues that have been brought up like double feeding

  20. Yeah, first time I did it, I panicked as I thought I’d really f*cked it. I couldn’t get the sear back in with my bare hands ? luckily I buy so much shadowfoam I had a pair of forceps to hand and managed to jiggle it in using them. No idea how you get it in barehanded.

    X-ASR Mosfet Issue?

Hello Mark! Yes mate I think you are right. I have emailed the retailer, email response time from them varies but will see what they say. Although, I believe PF make it pretty much impossible to claim for RIFS? They also sent it PF 24 although...that's another story. First, they tried delivery and no one was in, fair enough they take it to a post office...the post office that is 20 minutes away, rather than the one that is 2 minutes away. Ok fine, but when picking it up - sorry no can doosy. The PO refused to release it saying that the name on the parcel was wrong, even though I had the slip. Ok will email PF, which I did and after countless daft responses (in one of them they said the name wasn't wrong but the address was!) I got nowhere really and arranged for a re delivery on a Monday when the wife would be home. Instead they try delivering it on the Tuesday when no one is in. Retailer said they have no control over redelivery, but I rearrange it again for Saturday, which they did, but delivered it with the box in two and damage to the RIF...too much time in transit I think. I have emailed the retailer since with questions and pictures and the video so will see what happens... Cheers

  22. According to the troubleshooting guide, a green flashing light means that either the motor is disconnected or the brushes are worn out.

  23. Nice one. That was good to watch to see how you did the sear/spring part in the rear chassis and the main trigger spring at the front. Fitted all the Guarder parts a week or two ago - everything very easy aside from those two stages of rebuild that required MUCH patience!

  24. I’ve never had any issues with them. I’ve used them for many purchases and usually their items are well priced. And it helps if you know what you are after. Always shop about, ask questions first if unsure of anything.

Wrong stock, pistol grip and magnifier but it's a work in progress of the new Royal Marine MCX in 300 Blackout. Based on a VFC.

  28. When I bought my NGRS MP5A5 they were the cheapest retailer too - and delivered within 24 hours at no extra cost. From my experience, it will be a shame to see them go.

Is the view that it's fucking stupid to leave your guns in a car? Yeah, that's ALWAYS been a dumb move but people never learn

  30. Tbh most BBs are decent nowadays. You don't see much of those old 0.12g or 0.2g bags with bubbles in them anymore, at least in reputable stores and sites. I think it is harder to find a bad bag than a good one now.

  32. Sure, if you know what you're after, they're fine. Especially when you factor in free postage, and that if you leave it in your basket for 24 hours, you're likely to receive a discount offer.

  37. Never got to leave the safezone today - what I predicted months ago for the T8 'mws' hpa adapter happened, and the double stack jammed every single time (so me and a friend are now going to fashion a single stack collar for it) so that was the DE out of action. WE M4 was having air problems yet again, but have now isolated that to the adaptor as well. Pistols didn't fair much better, feed lips snapped on one pistol, nozzle return spring broke on another. Was nice and sunny though ?
