Turns out that I have only put assault vests etc on eBay, but I do have uniform hats/peaked caps listed on Vinted - and a check of the rules does say they aren’t allowed It’s possible to get away with rule breaches, but you may or may not get listings pulled. On listing it depends on any key words or AI recognition of images, and then subsequently can be reported by other users (especially other sellers) I listed some disposable coats, but these weren’t the typical festival smock type but a hoodless button up lab coat - and immediately rejected due to the laboratory / medical words I did use Vinted as my default for selling clothing and some of the few other categories that they allow as the different way they do postage meant I may make more of the sale rather than full eBay fees. But then fortnightly fee discounts, and currently zero fees made ebay the better option I don’t tend to bother with Vinted now, just leaving existing items there if I can’t be bothered to relist on eBay - and there’s a couple of things that I have a few of so I keep a listing on both eBay and Vinted Vinted does annoy me with their ‘will you sell it for £x’ process which doesn’t result in sales when I accept someone’s ‘offer’ - and people want to heavily under cut the asking price Premium stuff from UTG I sold my old UTG urban MOLLE for about £15

I’ve had no problems running standard TM pistols on Green gas in nearly 20yrs , in the height of summer you might want to drop down a bit . All my converted TM pistols run happily on propane . YMMV .

What's the deal with TM and gas though? They can't use normal green gas or something?

New [to me] WE Mark XIX in black. Wanted chrome but could only find it in L6 flavour, which while nice wasn't what I was going for. This came as a bargain, and barring a few usual WEagle-isms [the mag baseplate retention is broken, as is common] it makes the rest of my pistol collection feel Skegness toy-store springer in comparision. Awesome piece. Plus, holy shit! It's so fucking massive! I mean, duh - but holy shit! If anybody knows how to get a set of Hogue grips to the UK I'm all ears, most sites don't want to bother with importing so if there's anybody somebody could point me to I'm all ears, as the WE grips are pretty well known to be quite crap

Bought myself a new holster for when I’m not running a battle belt. Picked up an IMI one for £20 at UK Tactical. Was delivered pretty quick, my Glock 19 Gen 3 fits perfectly with good retention - but the Glock 17 Gen 5 doesn’t. It seems the ambi slide release is catching on the inside of the holster, so I’ll have to dremel it down slightly.

As I was driving the lad back to university today, we were discussing how he could get some games in between now and the summer. As it is his final undergraduate year, he will not be able to come down at Easter and does not drive, so the plan is for me to go up to Stoke a few times so that we can play up there. We have played at a couple of sites relatively near Stoke (Anzio and Sixmil/Stormforce) and were not very impressed by either of them; we have looked at others but have excluded them. We now have three possibles and I am hoping that anyone who has played them recently will be able to give us their opinion; they are: Phoenix/PTC near Warrington (run by Bomb Up). Hilton Park Airsoft near Wolverhampton (run by TM Airsoft) Frontier Airsoft near Penkridge (one specific question for this one: are their games all themed ones? Their photos seem to include some very strange costumes.) Many thanks in advance for any information.

Ohh, that's a really good point. The clip that goes around the hop up unit to hold the barrel is sitting a little bit higher than it was before. Its only a miniscule amount but I wonder if that's enough friction to work against the barrel spring to stop the unit seating in the exact same place. I didn't make any changes like adding tape so can rule that out. I'll try again when I get back from work tonight. Thanks for responding.

Phoenix is one of the worst run airsoft sites I have been to and this was pre Licking Cumstains attendance.

Latest arrival. With a massive thanks to a very good member on this forum. The L100A1 (G3KA4) The real rifle was seen (and well pictured) in use with UKSF in Afghanistan. But was documented in use well before that. Mine is the LCT LC3K. It's set up in the configuration as seen in use in afghan. The flash hider had to be specially made by LCS Engineering. The grip pod has been stripped out, and turned into a battery box. This is due to the railed handguard leaving no room. It also features; real * handguard * scope mount * rear sight. At the moment the dbal is busted. But will be replacing that when I can. Heres a warning to those looking at doing similar!!!!!. The issue is that LCT isn't 1:1. So the real rail sits slightly too short. So trying to figure out how to get around that. Now just need to weather it a bit more. And may even add a very slight dusting of tan in the nooks and crannies. The other small thing is picked up a busted airsoft Claymore mine. The american designation is M18/M33. Still trying to find out the "L" designation is.

Speak for yourself. They're airsoft guns so I'm happy to shorten that to guns. If others don't like it and are upset by 3 letters then that's their problem.

Unless the buyer has asked if I mind waiting a few days then I would expect payment that day. Quite frankly waiting 5 days is taking the piss especially with zero comms.

Life sometimes gets in the way, I'm usually the buyer & 24hrs is prob the longest I've taken to pay. As a seller (my one & only offer to sell) I was ghosted, even a polite 'sorry I've changed my mind' is acceptable from a seller or a buyer IMO. FYI, if you accept someone's offer please reply by message, quite a few times my offer has been accepted & I only found out by checking my emails (just as well I'm a needy bugger & check them a few times a day).

To be fair, getting to my local site is problematic due to my schedules & I've recently thought about trying Area66 as they have games on my weekends off, I'm likely going to use my usual Scar-H or XM177 GBBR's or plan B which would be my L85A2 or mk18 AEG's, would be nice to have the option of using my SLR as it was my first one in my current collection(a gateway pew) or even some others that would be above 360fps with anything heavier than a .2 Just checked, there are very few of my toys that I couldn't use at POW but less at Area66 if I did fancy a change. As we say North of the border... Eh, Naw!

Kingdom seems to get very low numbers and frequently cancels for that reason. Also, having encountered the guy that runs it in his shop, I have no intention of playing at a site that he runs. As for Anzio, it is a great site but, on the day that we were there, the game design was awful and the marshaling was poor.
