Considering how touchy you are, maybe the internet or public forums are not the place for you. You got upset when someone said you should put your question in a more appropriate place than some random thread, which is right as you're more likely to get the right answer. Now you're throwing toys out the pram when there's comments on your reply. Also, if you want to call someone a wanker, just come out and say it instead of pissing about with emojis.5 points -
Starting the week of strongly with this one: https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/35531-tokyo-marui-416d-kit A Starter kit, but £1200 + £50 shipping, and an upgraded NGRS that only seems to have an upgrade of a Fet, but not listing and other internal hardware such as gears, pistonhead etc. The motor is a nice touch but the EG1000 are fine for 90% of builds, considering that according to the ad the compression parts are stock. And the kicker, mental maths puts the actual contents of the ad around a generous £1100 brand new3 points

Fully Loaded And Upgraded HAO L119A2 MWS With Super Rare HAO Suppressor
Rollade and one other reacted to BADGERF1ST for an advert
This advert is COMPLETED!
- For sale

Unfortunately due to poor health and mounting bills, I'm parting with the one thing I told myself I never would, my fully loaded, fully upgraded, HAO L119A2 and extremely rare HAO FA556SA suppressor (hardcore version). Condition wise, it has never been skirmished and has been purely a display piece and something of a hobby in itself. As such it is in great condition. The only cosmetic marks are a few scratches on the lower and upper rails, under the rail cover and PEQ box. Otherwise it's all cleaned, lubed and good to go. As it has had such little use it will more than likely need bedding in, the hop setting up, the sight zeroing etc. I also suspect it to be running a little hot due to the fitted G&P adjustable red valve and the 6.01 barrel combo, replacing the valve with stock Marui or similar will bring it in line. Built from a standard MWS and based on the rifle used by Jay_Cal87 which features some slightly different parts to the standard L119A2 set up. What you get - Everything seen in the pictures, full build list below. External Parts - HAO's L119A2 full kit for Marui MWS, HAO's FA556SA suppressor (hardcore version, made of steel with actual baffles), HAO's Geissele trigger pin set (recessed as on the real steel), Magpul CTR stock - Genuine, Magpul K2 grip - Genuine, Magpul ASAP QD sling plate - Genuine, Magpul enhanced trigger guard - Genuine, Magpul B.A.D lever - Genuine, Magpul RSA sling mount - Genuine, Arisaka finger stop - Genuine, Manta rail panel - Genuine, Guns Modify Geissele Airborne charging handle repro, Angry Gun steel dust cover, Angry Gun steel forward assist, SpecPrecision Unity Hot Button repro, SpecPrecision Unity Micro Hub repro, SpecPrecision Modlite OKW 18350 torch repro, Spec Precision Unity Micro T2 mount repro, SpecPrecision Aimpoint 3xMag-1 repro, Wadsn Unity FTC magnifier mount repro, Holy Warrior Aimpoint T2 repro, Element PEQ with correct stickers, PTS low profile Steel QD sling adapter, 2x Ace 1 Arms P-Mags (both have slow leaks) fitted with Taran Tactical repro magazine extensions, Repro Magpul MS3 sling, Box of CR123 batteries. Also included are the tools required for barrel removal and a castle nut wrench, as well as all of the packaging I've retained from building it. Internal Parts - Tokyo Marui OEM hop unit and adjuster with standard Marui rubber and SixG Super Nub, PDI 6.01 Steel inner barrel, Angry Gun Steel bolt carrier, G&P CNC trigger box full set with lightweight ZET plate and bolt catch, BJ Tac Steel trigger with Geissele marking, G&P Aluminium buffer V2 with adjustable weight, Angry Gun 130% recoil spring, G&P reinforced nozzle set with G&P power adjustable red nozzle (to be completely transparent I believe this nozzle, even at it lowest setting, will run hot and will likely need to be replaced with a standard TM or similar nozzle for game use). All in all this has cost a small fortune and taken 2 years of constant tinkering and attention to detail and is a proper one off. Asking £1250 for everything, collection from Snodland in Kent would be preffered, however shipping can be arranged at buyers cost, just note it will be quite expensive due to the value, this isn't something I would want to send uninsured. Any questions please feel free to ask and thanks for taking the time to slog through all this!£1,250

Presumably he's factoring in the absolute rinsing inflicted by EAGLE6 for throwing in the Titan and trigger. I also like that he's listed a sling swivel, but nothing about replacing any TM parts designed to run at 0.8J, or even what spring has ostensibly bumped it to 1.1J. The ANGY SHOUTING about not splitting this bargain bundle up is the perfect opener. That'll take some beating.2 points -
Hello - I am the owner of Airsoft Hub, and I thought i'd address a few of the comments made here - as well as any additional ones you may have. I founded Airsoft Hub back in 2017 and since then i've ran the website single handed at a loss. The website contains no adverts, I don't charge for listings or featured adverts etc. so I've been operating the website at a loss for 7, nearly 8 years. I have to pay for the server, image hosting, sending emails (when they work :D), SMS's for mobile verification etc. and there is tens of thousands of users on the platform. Apologies if you do ever drop me a message and I don't reply, I don't even go Airsofting anymore, and haven't for probably 4-5 years so the website (unfortunately) isn't a priority for me and with the amount of users on the platform, it's impossible to keep up! I have toyed with the idea of rebuilding it from the ground up in the last year, but i'm struggling to find the motivation to do so (it's a big time investment to not gain anything from it!). I believe when I made it 7 years ago, it was the best around, I don't know what the competition is like these days as as I mentioned previously, Airsoft isn't a hobby of mine anymore. The notifications were broken and I apologise for that, unfortunately the server ran out of disk space a while back and killed off a background task as a result which went unnoticed for some time. But as of this evening should be resolved. As for the future of Airsoft Hub, I can see 3 possible outcomes: 1) I leave it as is, and let it run into the ground - although it is still very active looking at the analytics 2) I rebuild it, but as part of that, i'll likely introduce payments of some sort (I was looking to use a 3rd party initially to do ID verification to remove scammers and make it the most secure platform. However, this comes at a cost). Essentially though, if i'm going to actively maintain it, it needs to be worth my time. 3) I just kill it off and save myself some money each month. I'd be open to opinions from the community on what they'd be interested in - and if there is any quick wins which will drastically improve the experience on the website, please let me know. For example, based on a message this evening, I added the age of the advert to the listing. Regards, Dave Airsoft Hub.2 points

All Jez's doing, looks good, but likely to be a stopgap, at some point fairly soon we'll just start deleting ads, & repeat offenders will get warnings, if they still can't get their shit together, at some point they themselves will disappear like their ads, the whole point is to protect the honest members, so "I forgot" repeatedly might be an indication of something else ? 😏2 points

Airsoft helped me with weight loss
Jacob Wright reacted to GothicGhost for a topic
,I was around 16 stone few years ago and over the years it been hard to shift the weight, I started running so I when airsoft with my son I could keep up and have fun without dying from exhaustion. So, over this year I have been running more and more, I started out slow from couch to 5K and in June I did my first race for life 10k event its so good getting across the finish line. I can now run the 10k distance without stopping and my current weight dropped to 13.4 stone at age 40 right now. Thanks.1 point -

Just in case you hadn't seen it yet - Salvo Precision is effectively Double Eagle, and this is their version of Spear LT which is currently slated for Q1/Q2 2025. As its DE, it's MWS based and it won't cost an arm and a leg like the toxicants.1 point

Latest Classifieds update is a very good one, username and date on photos, very much
BYRNEMORGAN52 reacted to DBGXXI for a status update
Latest Classifieds update is a very good one, username and date on photos, very much needed against scammers etc, cool. The next update to do is not to allow any attachments / parts / accessories to be shown on the pictures of the ad that are not included in the sale. If you want to showcase your builds / accessorizing skills then make a post on the relevant discussion thread and show it off there. Otherwise only show stuff on the pictures that are included in the sale.1 point -
Any real steel grip you buy will have a hole for the selector spring, VFC grips don't have the hole. You'll need to either plug the hole in the grip or use a real steel spring/detent. You can also use wolverine MTW detent kit as they're properly sized up, though if you are buying from brownells you should be able to get a spring and detent from there. Just to add, if you do use an MTW/real spring and detent the selector will feel a lot more crisp.1 point

Given the clown is also selling v3 AKM GHK mags with the feedlips already filed (GHK system is reliant on the feedlips being tight to get proper airseal, if you are getting jams its the BBs or your guidetabs on the nozzle not the feedlips, but I digress) I doubt he could upgrade his own arse with both hands. I have forgotten more than this clown knows about GHKs. If the argument did hold water that the upgrade parts were worth full value its still doesn't account for £600 difference. But hey, don't criticise him!1 point -
Classifieds Rule 5 updated
nighthawkkhan reacted to Jedi_Master for a topic
Due to the increase in scammers, and to add better protection for buyers, any sale or swap advert in the Classifieds must include one photo with your AFUK username and a date. Effective from 01 December 2024. Below is the updated rule 5: All sales and swaps advertisements must have a picture, all pictures must be taken by the seller. Do not use a retailers pictures - take your own. There must be at least one photo with a piece of paper showing your AFUK forum name and date next to the item(s) for sale/swap (this updated rule is effective from 01/12/2024). Do not use Photoshop or other editing software to include your username and date, this is what scammers do and will result in adverts being deleted from the Classifieds. Using photos with different usernames from other forums, and links to other forum photos, is no longer acceptable.1 point -

Don't do it... you obviously don't know what type/style of pew you like, try as many aeg's as you can first or you'll be spending a fortune to only regret the purchase & we'll/I'll end up offering you 60-70% what you paid when it ends up in the classifieds. If that's not the answer you want to hear go onto youtube and watch as many gbbr video's as you can. If you do buy a GBBR, get a Calico, CZ Scorpion, L85A2 or a G3 etc coz I don't have one of these yet.1 point -
