Hello airsoft friends! Are these good RIFs to buy to win at airsoftwars battle maps? The pistol has 1.3 jewels, just like a watch, and the advanced future riflegun has pure polymer bushings in its bearings so should run very smoothelely!

If anyone suggested a swap to me and they had something I was actually interested in, they're 100% going to have to wait until theirs is in my hands, before mine's even packed for posting.

Yes, I knowingly bought them, on purpose and everything! Who presumably said "Never again!". They're sods to work on, it's gearbox-out just to get the hop and barrel out, with a bench full of screws and push pins, all different hex sizes. I'm going to run it cosmetically pimped but mechanically stock this weekend just for the chuckles, then see about sorting whatever doesn't survive or function. They really do have plastic bushings, and I've never seen such thin wiring.

The plan is to use it as the basis of something more theatrical, but it'll need calmed down as it's a bit spicy. On the other hand, the mags are feeble and it's struggling to get 20 shots from a fill even though it's NBB. Still, I'm sure I'll spend more on something worse at some point... Them's proper righteous.

Shouldn't take more than a minute really, as you dial it up (as the motor gets lifted up) it should gradually sound better and better until you hit the wall where it gets too tight which will be obvious, when you meet the wall, just go back a bit to where it last sounded best, trust your feeling In my head it is roughly like this:

Well a massive box was waiting for me when I got in from work today... I ordered the xl size in the hope that I wouldn't need to remove accessories (I'm lazy), I reckon I'm more likely to take my favourite pews to any game days which basically means a Scar-H or L & an AR15 derivative. My Mk18 is the longest AR I'm likely to take but I'll be measuring up for the XM177 too before I pick any foam out, all attachments will stay attached & all mags will be in my various sets of webbing so no need to fill gaps in the case (or add extra weight). While I was waiting on the postie I hollowed out the L85A3 case I had to fit some foam into it, prob a daft idea seeing as the case had formed spaces for an SA80 & seperate accessories but as I said earlier... I'm lazy & didn't want to remove accessories if I could help it. I'll probably buy some wave foam to do it properly but I had tonnes of padding foam in my shed & the wave foam that I do have is far too thick for this case.

Update... It's just been announced that the doors will open this event....

Never heard of them but a quick Google search shows quite a lot of negative reviews, not just for the time taken but for the quality of their work and customer service too. All in all I'd go elsewhere

One of my friends had them make him a Lee Enfield stock for a VSR receiver a few years ago and it was a year turnaround on that. I'd be hesitant to go with them on their response times as well, as I'd be unsure whether they're actually going to do it and I wouldn't be able to chase them up for updates if I got worried about the radio silence.

I've used one of these for years. It's just foam that compresses rather than jigsaw foam. It's mainly for an HFT rifle to protect the scope from being knocked waaaaay off zero, but I've had a bayonet collection, broadswords etc in it too. I tell the nosy that it's case for a percussion instrument. Not bought, but a buddy that worked at Spiritus for a few years in their earlier days was moving house and having a clear out; sent me these prototypes of what ended up as the LV-119 (oldest on the left, newest on the right).

Ooh, now that is nice. I'm sort of lucky that i only have 4 pews, for now, and dont really have anywhere to keep them in the house so putting thw3m in cases where i can then stash them out of the way makes sense. I do, as of Saturday, have a spare bedroom so I think that might become 'The Gun Room' with them on display. Then i can add more. 😁
