Another classic British weapon to add to the collection. A few bits to address like the fake bolt and a real sling etc.

Version 1 is more or less done. Im probably gonna change around the grip texture and the non reciprocating charging handle needs something to hold it forwards while the gun is running but its fully useable as is. Minus the fact its missing a few bolts but its too late at night for me to want to fire up the soldering iron and put the threaded inserts in.

So ive wanted a little pdw / smg for a while but when I eventually grabbed a kwa mp7 I wasn't best pleased with the performance and I dislike having guns that use proprietary parts as I like to keep spares on hand for all my stuff. So I decided to design this little thing. Everything that isnt 3d printed came from a we tech glock 19 (with the exception of the recoil spring which is a raven g17 one and the inner barrel which is 120mm maple leaf one). It is lovely and snappy as the bolt weighs very little. Ill stick it on some scales alongside the original metal slide at some point. As it is it is fully working. There are some things Id like to improve like the last round hold open as currently that just catches on the front of the bolt which puts a little too much force into it for my liking. Made this one have a grip that can take glock 19 mags as that's what I have and now its on to aesthetics. Obviously it will have a fully enclosed upper receiver For my personal version ill probably just have an rmr mount but ill inevitably make a railed version too at some point. Right now im trying to decide what grip texture to put on it.

Awe thanks. The factory did a cock up so I'm always more than happy to pass on those products at a super knockdown price. Even offering no questions asked return, just want to give people the option of trying a super tight bore for peanuts. Next week I'm hopefully going to test out some MRs with 5.5mm long nubs which I think will maximise the bucking. I had all the intentions of upgrading the website but soon realised was going to probably take me 4-6 weeks instead 😀 migrating all the data was a huge pita. Hopefully soon going to be offering £1.50 shipping again on large letter products under £12.50, I'll be trialling it for 6 weeks.

Watch out, there's quite a difference between the various Holy Warrior sights... most of them are on a par with the Sotac (that I own), it's just the more expensive S1 that is a level above. I had a thread about the various Eotech clones, where the debate didn't quite get heated as such, but rose above room temperature, where the main bone of contention was the acceptable level of parallax on a sight. I contend(ed) that parallax might look horrible at short range, but once you're at 15m+ then it's really not worth worrying about given the inherent accuracy limits of our BB guns. I empirically remain 'unfussed' as the camo-painted-to-match-the-gun sight on my fave AEG is an £8 Eotech knock-off from Action Hobbies' boneyard! But I have noticed at least one of my red dots isn't great when shifting viewpoint vertically, even when focusing out at distance. So ... something to bear in mind. Good video here... Ok, problem solved! A bit of a roundabout way to get there, but I ended up buying a WE Glock17 Gen 3, and then fitting the army Armament R34 slide to it (fits perfectly), hand stippling the WE lower to match the Taran Tactical/JW2 look with a soldering iron (dead easy, and looks really good), and fitting the flared magwell from the Army Armament to the WE (again, fits perfectly). Pistol now works well with all mag types - highest FPS with WE and Action Army/AAP, slightly lower with army armament magazines. The magazines mostly have flat routers, and the BBU is curved as the original mags have curved routers, but this doesn't seem to be an issue as far as I can tell.

A friendly neighbourhood member may be near enough to lend an hand (and become a new airsoft friend) For the cost of paying a tech to do the job, you could manage to buy a ‘good enough’ drill to do the job and still have it for future tasks (above members have highlighted the benefits of better tools, and extraction can be a worry - but care and some familiarisation with videos and ideally a practice run on something else will usually get the job done) There could be a local group such as Men’s Shed which are workshop facilities and could have someone willing to give the help to do something like this — complete with many ranges of tools and experienced problem solvers https://menssheds.org.uk/find-a-shed/ PS - Do of course think ahead about not just turning up with a gun looking thing ! It is a fake, look at the R, it has rounded corners, legit have hard, square corners. Probably why the other side isn't shown at all, as all the repro's and fakes mess up the 5 and make it look like an S.

I’ve got the Vortex Crossfire II LPVO and I can really recommend it. Not the red dot you are after but you can use it as one with the 1 times magnification.

My first try at Camo painting. I’ve tried the sponge technique, worked out quite well. What do you think? The green isn’t quite as bright as in the picture.

The vortex crossfire red dot is a great red dot. You can get the holy warrior T2 with a nice mount for around 50% of the price and it's very good as well. If you like the eotech size window then the holy warrior S1 is great. Holy warrior is much cheaper if imported, mine came in around £40 including the scalar works clone mount and postage and I've see UK retailers charging £75. Another option would be an lpvo with a red dot mounted directly on top, check out the new ks1 optic that is being issued to special forces as an example, there are Airsoft clones of similar available. Other than for PID, magnification ok optics in Airsoft for me is a bit pointless.

Just a few bits for me as I'm hoping to get out a bit more this year having been doing life stuff most of last year, a Crye SPS frag pouch (the inserts mean it can carry everything from pistol mags to 12g shells) and a replica scalar leap aimpoint mount for my MCX(the holy warrior version) and the build quality on that is amazing 👌

Holy Warrior is probably one of the best Eotech clone out there so I'd say it's a good investment overall. For half of the price you could try a Sotac instead.

The physics behind it is fairly simple, Heavier BB's conserve their energy better. Assume you have a Mini cooper going 100mph and a Truck going 60 down an infinite straight road, If you just let both of them go - no accel no braking - the mini stops LONG before the Truck, even in spite of the speed advantage, because the Truck is way heavier. Same principle for BBs, Light 'mini' BB may be faster at first, but that Heavy 'Truck' BB is still gonna be at a solid 30-20mph by the time that mini stops. (This is an Analogy, i dont actually know how accurate my waffle about Trucks and Minis is here)
