Pistol loaders are the way, always carry 2 with me on top of 4 mags, never ran out in a game even when feeling trigger happy or flicking the giggle switch.

Is the gearbox another Ares? If it’s not, chances are you have a misaligned gearbox, as boxes are absolutely not made to spec, especially Ares. Get an adjustable nozzle to check for nozzle length issues. Make sure your cylinder sits tight in the shell. Is this happening on full auto, semi, or both? What’s the ROF?

Just means how much further you can pull the trigger once it has got past the break point. If you want to have a super short trigger pull with a hard stop then you can use the grub screw to do that, if you leave the grub screw out then it just means you have more travel left in the trigger once you have tripped the hammer before there is a physical stop to the trigger movement. This doesn't affect the take up in the trigger before the break point so doesn't impact the trigger response on a single shot. Only if you are spamming in semi auto it may decrease the reset time between shots but it is pretty much just a personal preference thing.

I'll have you know that I was victorious! - Gonk's SnotHunters defeated the evil forces of the Black Assassins when Snotgrass the Green (notice a theme here?) caused catastrophic damage with his longbow whilst Gonk and his cohorts rushed in to the fray with their melee weapons. Seriously though - my son loved it. Being able to create characters and a simple, but scalable, set of rules meant that the games were fast and more importantly - fun. It might not suit more advanced players, but for kids and their (non gamer) parents it's a pretty good place to start, especially with the YT videos that the author posted. I've ordered a rolled Terrain mat and my son has started scribbling ideas for scenery. He's been watching loads of YT vids on making various ruined buildings and rocks etc. As someone that does a bit of model making (of the static but mostly the RC Plane kind) I've got a few XPS foam sheets to hack up, roll tin foil over, texture/seal and then paint.

Gotcha, you could absolutely lose the suppressor and use a barrel extension as you suggest but if you're dead set on having the look of the ARP9 then yeah, shorten the barrel. You may need to bump up the spring but I'd try swapping the barrel out first and see if it actually makes for much of a power loss.

Not a daft question at all. Loading GBBR mags can be something of a dark art. Using a pistol loader with adapter is good. The TM M4 mag-style loader has the adapter attached, and is what I used for my MWS for a while. With either of these options, as you've discovered, the angle you hold the speedloader is key. Now I use an Airtac adapter for my Odin and it's a gamechanger. Literally three turns and the mag's full. I know Odin's aren't cheap but it's definitely up there as the best £50 I've spent for airsoft. Sensible thinking.👍 As you go along and meet and talk to people you will pick up more knowledge and then the inner workings of an Airsoft gun will loose some of its scariness(?) Watching tube vids will help. If you can use a soldering iron then the deans conversion is a doddle so long as you are careful and make sure the + and - are on the right pins.Again tube vids will help. Regards

OK, I'd ask myself why the last owner felt the need to extend the barrel. Have you actually run it in a game as is?

To a point. Once you get below 200mm it can start having an effect. To be fair, at CQB distances it's less of a problem but for example my MP5K is far less accurate than my MP5A3 both have the same hop rubber and similar quality of barrel. Personally, if your looking to modify the sa-e07 you have in your profile description I'd just swap out the handguard for something shorter and ditch the extra length of the amplifier etc. 200mm is plenty short for CQB.

At 200mm it's already a good length for CQB. Going that short you're more likely to notice the complete lack of accuracy than a drop in FPS!

Make it a patch. In fact, new rule - all HPA users must wear Ghostbusters cosplay. It's basically ALICE webbing and grey coveralls so that's easy and they already have the proton pack.
