Wow, lovely stuff. Props, or with shootable internals? I guess I'll re-shill my Imperial Guard kit since @Musica bumped the Load Out page 30 seconds after I posted it there. The helmet is just a MICH that needs some work. The armour and gun shell (around a G36 with an M4 magwell and short VN style mag) are EVA foam which turns out to be great for LARP airsoft use. Cheap, easy to work with, light, and takes all the sting out of hits while still giving a distinctive noise and feel that has allayed my initial concerns about accidental God Mode. What's interesting is just how much of the initial pattern I had to remove in order to make it usable. Big sections around the arms and neck, and that large side gap isn't accidental, it's to give sufficient movement between the front and back to stop the thing riding up when I bend and twist and shout. You'll see cosplayers with more complete armour including solid side plates, but they're mostly just posing in it, not moving and aiming.4 points

If they are putting it in an AR receiver block in the vice then you should be all good- if they are trying to put it straight in the vice then I’d be very worried.2 points

No no no, none of the above, only play insured recognised sites, sure two tones suck, but criminal records suck more. If you don't want to stand out at a site, mask the bright parts of your gun with a suitable camo tape, therefore you won't have broken any laws, & once your 18, you can spray it legally. Edit. Rocketdogbert pipped me by 5 seconds, obviously I'm not say disregard his post, just no playing in public places etc1 point

If they have a proper AR15 vice block no problem it’s what they are for. If not then no way, you would be better off buying a bench vice and receiver block yourself, as it would be cheaper than a new MWS receiver. A similar effect can be achieved with a bench vice some wooden blocks and an old towel, but it’s riskier and I would expect a professional to have the proper equipment especially when it’s relatively cheep and has so much utility.1 point -

I love these accounts, wait another few years and he will be really salty when he sees how much kit a motivated civilian buys with his hard earned when it’s to sustain a hobby. Take nods, I would need to sell a kidney if I wanted a pair but good luck to those who want to buy them. If he’s lucky he might see a pair on the quartermaster store’s shelf1 point -

Yeah he guy making them is pretty smart on the shipping front, they cost the exact same posted anywhere in the world. I'll not hawk my wares further in here but just PM me if you're interested, they're rather nicely made by a guy who actually designs gear for Eagle Industries. So I created and admin the group for spiritus systems and all of their kit is in crazy high demand. Most of what they make goes directly to mil and police then what goes up on their site for commercial sale all gets snapped up rapidly. As a result this one guy got super salty and put up a whole dedicated post in the group just to say how he'd been waiting ages for a PC to come in stock, he'd "finally" gotten "permission" from his wife to buy it but he believed all the stock had been bought up by 'fukin airsofters'. The greatest irony being he used to be an airsofter until very recently with airsoft posts visible on his account, but had since joined the US army, he was far from anything special though, was only a couple of weeks out of basic training. There were 150-odd comments under the post ripping in to him fuckin savagely and bear in mind this is a mostly US group full of largely mil/le/firearm guys with only a few airsofters.1 point -

remodelled my kfh a few times and this is the best one so far: and 3d printed (left one): Getting better and smoother with each print. Can't even see the layer lines anymore. Need to sort the vertical artifacts and tighten up the knurling part as it's a bit sloppy.1 point -

Hi new to this , wanting to know where a small group can use two tone rifles as we don’t want to turn up to a actual Airsoft and be the only ones using two tones , wanting to know where we can create our own private games Ive read a little about not being able to use them in public woods so hopefully someone can pony me in the right direction on legally finding somewhere to use them because where wanting just regular small private games , we are located in Preston any help would be brilliant thank you .0 points
