Just purchased a second ASG Scorpion Evo + the EvoTek expert kit :). Why two you may wonder because they're awesome and should one go down I have another as a backup.

So update time. Blackhawk holster arrived. Also managed to snag a cheap second hand knife/scabbard. A black base layer and cheap carabiner. Much fiddling later and I still need to tape up all the loose straps and zip tie the knife down securely. But it’s coming along. Just comms, pistol pouches, weapons and some black boots and gloves to go. That’s gonna be the long slog side. Thinking cheap clone throat mic headset and radio. Asg mk23 with all the snazzy upgrades and maybe a gen2 bolt recoil or a kwa erg 3 or tm m4 for a main. Would love the mws. But don’t think it would work with the limited mag Carry space on the loadout (4 mags). Any how pics (I will tape up all the loose straps I promise. My ocd with webbing guarantees that) Edit. Heh, I spotted that while you were replying. I'd be tempted to give them a chance for that difference in price. The reason I was particularly hacked off is that I was specifically after one for the next weekend, but by the time it was sorted, I'd already lost two weekend's worth of play. If you're not in a hurry, it'd be a rational gamble. You're not going to lose your money even if they do mess it up. Buy it, buy it, buy it.

I am hopping rodgerborgs experience was a blip. I have bought from gunfire several times and generally they have been quicker than UK based retailers.

Programmable 'burst' control thingy. Has a low battery warning which is handy and programmable burst from 1 to 12. Got it set at 5 at the mo but only takes seconds to change. Installed it in my XR5 which has a HUGE battery compartment, I run it with a 4400 mah lipo, and it all tucks in nicely. First impressions are very good. Will try it next time out and see how it does.
