Some more bits for my svd, slowly getting there.. Went to Airsoftworld to get some ABS svd furniture, but was put off by the price (£40 not including the overpriced postage fees.) So, I went over to AirsoftPro.cz and bought: ABS furniture, current furniture is tatty. 27 euros New trigger pin, old one keeps falling out. 4 euros Sorbo pad. 3 euros After postage and VAT, it came to a total of £35 posted, not bad eh? Should be somewhat skirmishable at this point!3 points

Just bought the G&G SRL. It's been shipped and should be with me by Wednesday! I've done a fair amount of reading and know what i'm after. G&G appear to be very highly rated for their AEGs and the new SR line has been very highly received with the extras it comes with!2 points

Gun makes clicking noise when pulling trigger
Airsoft_Mr B and one other reacted to Sitting Duck for a topic
switch to auto and fire gun then it should cycle it is in its dead spot perhaps and trigger switch mechanism can't re-latch (releasing trigger too soon on semi is main reason) if not then it sounds worse like spring broke inside, or the switch stop snapped off (unlikely) it sounds daft but does it "feel" correct or not - DO NOT FORCE IT if it was simply just stuck in "dead zone" and you force it it may/will bust something2 points -

Glock Serpa Holster
Will Lewer reacted to TacMaster for a topic
Genuine Fobus holsters are one to look for as well. They make many models for pistols, so finding a Glock one should be easy. They have an adjusting screw which can loosen and tighten the holster's grip on a gun, so it may be able to accommodate a TM style Glock.1 point -

I had the same issue. Right, the genuine Blackhawk one is the best to have! All you need do is take about half an hour with a dremmel filing out the area mainly around the nozzle. It takes a bit to get it right but once done it's spot on! plus you have the BH quality that prevents the gun falling out. Worth noting, I tried one of the clones and although the fit was easier to achieve you can easily pull the gun out without the retention button being pressed. Also worth mentioning, If you want a good alternative, theres a company called Phoenix tactical, based in Barcelona and run by a guy called Tito Villalobos. He did me a custom Kydex holster for my Hicapa and it's bloody superb!1 point -
Definitely cheaper. It was like 16 euros for paypal and 14 euros for card payment.1 point

Well obviously they vary a lot by organiser and location, but I think if you boil it down end of the day it's just a skirmish that's snorted a mixture of gunpowder and roids. It's sort of like everything's magnified, the only real downside is you'll get the massive d-bags amongst the players who are even worse than the d-bags you get on your standard walk-on day. I never had anything more than a very mild, temporary disagreement with anybody throughout the event but I had to overhear a fair bit of shouting and BS both in our camping area and out on the field. But it boils down to grown adults who, like tiny toddlers, are unable to recognise when they're tired and tone down their response to things when an incident riles them up far worse than it should have. There's nothing specific to milsim about that though, anything I've ever done in the military where people have gotten tired they started being d***ks at inappropriate times because they lacked the maturity to control themselves. Luckily my squad was a really good bunch and we got really stuck in, but made sure to take plenty of rest whenever the opportunity arose as well. You're still playing with a bunch of untrained people and no plan survives contact with the enemy so it's never going to play out like in the movies, but the teamplay I experienced was overall far more cohesive than a skirmish day, which is the main thing you'll get out of a milsim. Tons and tons of pyro and wacky weapons systems floating around, so when things do kick off (and you'll spend very large amounts of time slowly patrolling and hiding in the undergrowth) they generally kick off big time. Never seen so much smoke and so many bangs. Realistically I could write pages and pages, but those were the things that stuck out to me. The Warzone Battle Sim guys certainly seemed to be a good bunch, I'd go to another of their events.1 point -

sell/return it and buy a glock22 holster instead, your TM glock will fit perfectly.1 point -
When BAC launched they came up against howls of protest and abuse. Have a look at the old posts on the subject. Whatever your thoughts and airsoft politics, I thought the chance to play at different sites and keep your defence intact was a good idea especially if you only play sporadically due to finance or family commitnents. I can understand why a lot of stakeholders in the industry wouldnt like this model though.1 point

I'm pretty sure that will be the same as all the other brands. Heavy BBs come from one or two chinese factories and everyone just rebrands them. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing though.1 point

Are you sure it cost you less? Almost all banks in the UK charge commission on converting your currency (even to Euros) and PayPal is actually far cheaper despite their less favourable exchange rate. I painstakingly tried all three checkout options and found PayPal overall was cheapest. Used to happen to me a lot last year with two separate banks because I was too dumb to switch AliExpress and DHGate over to GBP so it was converting to Dollars or Euros all the time. A lot of the time your exchange rate and commission charge won't even show on your statement until a few days after the payment too :S1 point

Hi their just thought i would put a quick review up of the Sawfly glasses from revision, i have had these for 3 years now and to this day they have performed brilliantly. After using or goggle and glasses i won a pair of these at a event, i was a bit sceptical of them as i had never heard of revision at the time. A few shots with a 500fps bolt action at point blanked proved that they would stop a bb, and as i found out of the years stop fogging aswell (completely). I have always been one to sweat and all the other brands i used (viper, ess, bolle) fogged up badly, these have never fogged up even in rain or even collected condensation near the nose piece. Which brings me onto the next point of the nose piece itself made out of a soft gel it sits very comfortably on the nose and doesnt leave red marks after. Last year i bought a spare clear lens as i already have a yellow lens, both are brilliant and at first the yellow may seem too bright but within 10 minutes your eyes get used to it and even in bright sun they are not too bright. You can pick a pair of these up for around £20 and the deluxe kit for around £50 their are a bit more expensive than other but when your paying extra and your getting no fogging high quality glasses then its worth it. Thanks1 point
