  7. S-Thunder pistol launchers are great fun. they dont add extra weight to rifles unlike ugls, and its very easy to move/ use due to its size. you can find some pistol holsters that will fit them - i got a large drop leg one for mine, and it allows me to carry a couple of spares grenades too. they are great in woodland too - firing a lcoud of bbs in the general direction of an assailant in the bushes, plus the nice loud bang. clearing building is good seeing people sh*t themselves at the bang and then shout it. i dont know about the B&T gl-06 but if you wanted to move onto using the AI grenades then the S-Thunder works wonders with those, chap at the site i go to uses them, wouldnt work in a longer barrel due to how the 'wings' on the projectiles from the AI grenades. got mine when Airsoftworld had a £20 flash sale - couldnt really say no.

Hey all, Been playing Airsoft for about a year now, thought it about time to join a forum and get connected. First time at my local field and i though it was good, got to know some guys and I've fallen in love with the sport. So far my loadout it based for protection (BB on bare skin in CQB is NOT nice). First gun was my G36C, compact easy to use highly upgradeable a very convenient for my setup. My main pride and joy is my head gear. Fast helmet with facemask attacked to the side clips and goggles underneath for a supreme fit. All my gear is tried and tested for Airsoft and I think I've found a decent setup. As for my baby (G36C) she's an Umarex with some upgrades, inner barrel, motor and M4 mag adapter for the Mid-Cap master race. Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

  10. It is the only site I have been to during my time in the sport. I started off renting guns from them, very nice about it all. good customer service and they seem to know what the're talking about. They do two types of days Pro-am and Bootcamp: Bootcamp is based towards newer players, they start by day playing a game with all the new players. They take you to the Village section (at least they did with me) and give you an in-depth overview of Airsoft and how to play safely as well as teaching you about the honor system. There are still a lot a regulars that show up on Bootcamp, I try to help them out whenever I can. They also hold a raffle on some Bootcamp days( not too sure, correct if wrong) 1st prize is a pistol, 2nd is some form of optic and 3rd prize is some consumables such as BB's and grenades. Pro-am for the more advanced player: Don't have the pre-game newbie game get through safety briefing and then onto the first game. Always played on Hill 60 (the bunker by the starting area) after that they have a number of different games played in the CQB area and across different areas of the playing field. CTF, defend the base and some special games they make on the day. The field is HUGE and they do provide maps on the area the are okay (not the best) but you get used to the field after a time (still don't know all the names of areas myself) TLDR: Great field, friendly to new player and also suited for advanced players. 11. Here's my new CQB loadout (currently working on it). It's being designed to look like the 3E Urban Tracker uniform (variant #2) from Splinter Cell Conviction. This thread will basically be me posting with pics as I get the loadout made. First things first, here's a few "concept" pictures for the game showing you what I intend it to look like by the time that it is done. Here's the gear which I already have: Assault belt (with pistol holster, pistol and UMP mag pouches)- sidenote, I'll probably use my drop leg holster instead of the one seen on the belt at the moment. G&G UMG- I'll be picking up the G&G made mock silencer for it soon, as well as a red laser for the right hand side rail (as seen in the first screenshot) WE G17- see *1 As you can probably guess, the most difficult part of this whole design will be making the Sonar Goggles (pictured below). I've got a few ideas at the moment. I'll update here to let you guys know how they turn out okay, so you're probably wondering what this *1 that I keep referring to means. Well, my issue is that the G17, or any type of Glock for that matter, has never appeared in any of the games in the Splinter Cell series. I might invest in a Marui Five Seven soon- they are the preferred pistol of the Splinter Cell units in the series- but getting my hands on one might be a bit difficult. Let me know what you think of the idea. I'll update this thread with pictures as this becomes more of a reality.

  14. Snipers would be one thing you will encounter Tripping ar$e over tit as you navigate maybe the less direct route to objective maybe more non-hit takers and people learn their guns aren't as long range as they thought Become a tree hugger - nigh on your main cover so peek left as well as right & high/low - they will be learn to communicate - quietly/signals but if you do break silence remember: "he's behind that tree" is not very informative but "behind tree @ 11o'clock" is better (if I had a £1 for the above line I could pay for my walk on fees) watch & learn from the regulars/pro's especially when you first arrive if things are not working out by lunchtime then maybe suggest a change of plan but the regs will maybe have an idea on what works & what don't (a proper team or a few organised squads are much more effective than 25 lone wolfs) Above all call ya hits, don't get stressed and just enjoy it

  17. Welcome to the forums mate! Would love to see the ghillie when it's complete, something I need to do soon for when I start sniping myself (got an A&K M24 but haven't skirmished it yet) Just a word of advice on the SR25, DMRs won't perform very good (or probably as you'd expect for a DMR) straight out the box. I'm afraid they take a lot of upgrading which you might not want to to do. I personally just like to say because they are expensive but internally just a standard AEG as far as I know and like a bolt action it will need work before they perform at least for you to really have a significant advantage over AEGs because out of the box they will generally have about the same performance except you're limited to bolt action / semi and less rounds.

I've got a walkera quadcopter which i find hard to fly. i've got prop guards on it as well and seem to hit everything in sight. Already broken one shell and one set of props.

  21. Obviously anyone with even the remotest sense of decency would wish to extend their sympathies to the families of those concerned. Having worked as a cartoonist and a writer for several news publications myself, I most sincerely do, in fact, I actually left the newspaper business over an issue I had with not being allowed to publish the truth about something, so I feel an affinity with those who unashamedly and bravely do so. But my sorrow is not only for the attack at the CH Office the other day, but also the attack this morning in which a French policewoman was killed. I think all that goes without saying really. I do also think however, that we risk such a thread as this going rapidly downhill, and I'll tell you why: The incident in question was ultimately about censorship and freedom of expression. There can be little doubt that our feelings will run strong on this matter, yet on such a thread as this, ironically enough we are somewhat forced to suppress and indeed self-censor the expression of any feelings of anger or outrage we might have about the matter. I do know that if i really expressed how I felt about the matter, not only would it probably take up several pages, but it would also no doubt get the thread locked.

Oh yeah, the fact that i can sew definitely casts aspersions on my sexuality but £30-ish posted from fleabay and you can't go wrong: ...you need needles made for sewing jeans to cope with webbing and self threading hand sewing needles make it easier to tidy up the loose ends in a way which will not come undone; few pins; you should get a seam ripper with a machine but even if you have to buy one, they're not dear, and they do work much better than scissors.
