A great tactic i picked up from some real guys is to have a strip of velcro on the torch to attach it onto your helmet. Its easiily accessible, adjustable and pretty secure. If it gets knocked it falls and doesnt rip your lid off, (not so much airsoft but important in real combat) it can also be removed an placed on a PC or in a pocket. Remeber a torch should rarely be used in a fire fight, it gives your position away and screws up your vison. Keep it only for doing tasks such as objectives, searching, repairing or restocking or treating casualties.

Yes we should. 166F is not considered enough to withstand 350fps at .2g that is clear, documented and tested vigorously by an independent entity who's only bias is safety. To argue otherwise is naive and moronic. Just because they say tactical and have pictures of uber l33oporor8rz does bit make them credible ballistic glasses. It's nothing more than marketing hype.

I recently placed an order for a Jefftron Active break Mosfet from AirsoftSpareParts.com and was very impressed, so here is a quick review. The guy running it used to hang around here selling vast quantities of parts through the classified, his name is Raffal86. He realised that boneyard guns and second hand spare bits and bobs is a niche that nobody seems to be filling so built a decent website and business around it. His prices are fairly competitive and what sold me was the postage. £5.50 all the way from Poland, less than most british retailers charge. I ordered a new Jefftron Active Break Mosfet, many people are selling them now, but what attracted me to AirsoftSpareParts.com was that he was offering to pre wire it, with a fuse, high quality cable, motor connections and new trigger contacts for an additional £11. I hate soldering with a passion so it really is a no-brainer, considering its going to cost close to that to buy all the wiring parts. I ordered on the 1st March and it arrived on the 12th March, 12 days to be custom built, posted and arrive into England. I am impressed at that. I have had Taiwangun orders take longer and they use UPS. Pay with paypal, good clear written English communication, and a pretty solid site. I would definitely recommend anyone to shop at AirsoftSpareParts.com and will be returning myself. I will throw together a Jefftron review of the actual mosfet once its fitted to the gun.

The box is a zci one so not originally vfc and the receiver is g&p No I can't see how it would work either but read some drivel on a muRican site, though best to check in with civilised folk. I have two more shells, but they won't take 16awg and don't want to go down to 18. May just have to bite the bullet and get another shell.

OK so the loop at the front of my gearbox that the mag release goes through erm ... "fell off" araldite failed to resolve the issue and now the gearbox is FUBAR. Now I understand VFC m4s don't use the little loop? Is it as simple as dropping a vfc mag catch in and pew pew pew?

I really do rate the Haley strategic D3. Light enough for being a light weight rig, combine with a belt kit for a heavier loadout, it can go over as many layers as you can muster and takes up no space in a kit bag. Pricey, yes and the emerson replica isn't anywhere near as good quality as a legitimate but it is £130 cheaper.
