My Soviet Paratrooper loadout: KIT LIST: Berezka bandana Customised ESS Advancer V12 (mesh replacement lenses) boooo hissssssssssss! Berezka KZS 2 piece suit VDV Telnyashka (striped vest) RD-54 (backpack & harness) Soviet prototype pig's bladder hydration system Faux leather Soviet soldiers' belt VDV 4 cell AK mag case (carrying 4 plum AK-74 midcaps + 1 more in gun) 2 cell + pocket 1st aid pouch (holding Thunder B CO2 grenade, smoke bomb, Cook's Matches striker & spare shotgun primers) Customised GP-7 respirator bag (dump pouch) Leather Pistolet Makarova holster Soviet prototype yak hair seat pad Warsaw Pact cold weather liner pants & braces Soviet prototype bakelite kneepads (Hatch Centurion under KZS kecks) German para boots (smuggled across the Berlin Wall) Morena my modified CYMA CM.048 AK-74 Umarex Makarov with PPS refillable bulb approx 355FPS when filled with CO2 only, which is fine at Skirmish (368FPS hard limit without MED) Ohshiboom impact BFG w/ shotgun primer adapter (in 1 cell of RD-54 grenade pouch / lighter and sweeties in other cell) Bunch of MK5 pyros in 1 cell of RD-54's 2 cell AK mag pouch (couldn't get NH_Shooter's MK5 holders to look right on this rig, so just used the striker on a bit of velcro around the left RD-54 shoulder strap) CYMA AK-74 flash mag hicap in the other cell of the RD-54's mag pouch Bubblewrap filling the side pockets of the RD-54 to bulk it out. Unknown make modified mesh 1/2 face mask. Modified knock off Oakley gloves. This loadout really needs a rubber AK-74 bayonet. A rubber spade would be even better, but this RD-54 does not have the upside down spade pouch on the back, although I expect I could sew one of the normal Soviet spade covers onto it.3 points -

It's because its below the proof required to be classed as a bourbon (40%). Also, the lack of colour supposedly suggests a lack of whiskey, or a young whiskey. I think it's more of a young whiskey rather than a lack of it, but I reckon it tastes nice whatever it is! BTW, with Dr pepper it is lovely. You'd struggle to tell there was any alcohol in it at all mate1 point -

I think its only classed as a liqueur as its infused with maple flavour as opposed to the flavour coming from the cask, so technically it can't be classed as a bourbon, but effectively thats what it is. Jim Beam also do cherry and an apricot flavoured liqueur versions too. Bloody nice stuff though!1 point -

G36C handle/scope fit
Karljohnmason reacted to Ian_Gere for a topic
I just measured mine to check for you. There are 2 problems: 1) the shape of the attaching-flanges is for a simple dovetail, not an offset 90° angle like a Picatinny rail, and 2) it's only 18mm wide. You would be able to file the right shape and width into the front of the carry handle, but not the rear because it's too thin, there would not be enough width left for strength. The only way to overcome that problem would be to glue some aluminium or steel plates to the sides just under the scope and then proceed with the file. You could use a power tool if you had the right shape cutting wheel and, if not, i would try to find someone who does, because doing it by hand with needle files would be extremely tedious.1 point -
God, Port, lethal stuff, far too moreish lol! Lost several hours of my life one evening drinking a bottle with a mate lol!1 point

Mate I have 2 Pandora shops within easy travel distance! There's talk of another one too! Problem I have with Pandora is that you spend £50 on a charm that is bloody tiny. The wife's natural reaction is "So what else you got me?". As a bloke we're so much easier, make sure it's got a big box (Fnar, Fnar)...1 point -
Got a lovely metal S-Thunder grenade launcher with gas, an SHS Moscart and a Condor OD double '40 pouch. Very satisfying ''thunk!' when it fires1 point

AK-74 rubber bayonet
ForestFighter reacted to Ian_Gere for a topic
It depends on the site. Recently @Skirmish The Stan i went into battle with a Cold Steel Black Bear training knife against someone with a Cold Steel tomahawk... killed him with a tap on the shoulder... and was killed by someone with the standard M9 plastic M4 bayonet... I've seen 29.5" Cold Steel bokkens at Ground Zero and their gladius at Skirmish Woodland, Budby, where I have used a 2' hollow plastic machete. I've also seen a hollow plastic baseball bat at Tac House Spartan and taken a hard plastic telescopic lightsaber to MCG The Gaol. Weekend just gone Bottledtorment used a mannequin arm to get a kill at Combat Ready, Derby and before that he has used a bar of soap at MCG The Gaol, although the victim declined to take that hit. But some sites are very strict on the flexibility of any blade and the shape of any point. The rule is always that a kill is achieved by a light tap on the shoulder/some other part of the body and whisper "knife kill" whereupon the victim is supposed to put their hand up and walk off to regen silently, ie without shouting "hit!" and giving away the knife killer's position. So since we are all wearing eyepro and nobody should be wielding it anywhere near the face, risking knocking someone's eyepro off, it makes sense that Cold Steel trainers are allowed, because although you could in theory hurt somebody with one, if you whacked or jabbed your victim really hard, you could do that to them with an AEG... my point being that that is not how you use an AEG and nor is it how you use a melee weapon in game. Edit to add: thanks for the link. I ordered one, but they are not in stock they have to get them in so it will be 4-6 weeks and then they send an email with the payment details. in total it will be about 2700 Yen including Registered Airmail, or about £14.50 happy days!1 point -

Got a shiny new IMAX B6 charger off my ex missus (yes, we are still good friends bizarrely for an ex marriage partner). Mind you, I got her some perfume which cost a crapload more than that charger did; season of goodwill and all that bollox, although - top tip here - if you are going to buy your ex missus an expensive present, you best make damn sure you buy something which costs at least twice as much as that present, for your girlfriend. Practically bankrupted myself in that Pandora shop whilst on that mission1 point -
