Oh. Yes. Definitely. But I always covered the laser emitter; it was too dull to work as a beam, and the dot itself was always hard to find. Marginally more dangerous than a red laser, since it's invisible there's no blink reflex. That said, a class 1 IR laser is nominally eye safe in that short exposure will not cause any damage much like a class 1 red laser, staring into it isn't going to do you any good but what are the odds? How are you liking them?Really happy with them, they're not cheap but I'd rather pay that bit more for a higher quality product. The only thing to be aware of is that the knee pads don't come with them on is an additional expense but if they're something you like the look of I'd definitley recommend them.
