Why does that not surprise me...?

That man has made a fortune from the PTW fashionistas.

Bit of a different kind of dreamer today. Just had someone ask if I still have a pistol I put up nearly 5 years ago for way less than it was worth. I admire the optimism.

14 years of ownership.

Been services 3 times.

Replaced the motor and piston once.

I have a very heavy trigger finger.

TCO it has been the cheapest AEG I have ever owned.

Bullshit called, that can't be a PTW - your face isn't blurred. :P

Myself and @quango2k are one of the few owners of Systemas that realise that airsoft is a game.

Tbh that is a REALLY bad photo of me too that a blur would be a massive improvement.

Shame many PTW owners (mainly) past and present cannot report the same. I'm not talking about the A&K knockoffs either, having to send a £1k+ Systema off to be 'Tackleberried' in the first place is just wrong.

It's a dying platform, Systema don't give a fuck anymore, they have been too busy selling Type 89 PTWs to the JSDF and forgot the market that allowed them flourish in the first place. In the mean time the Airsoft world moved on.

Which again raises the question :

"why the other guy gets his serviced monthly ffs"

Yes he's spent an arm & a leg on it, probably mostly in servicing costs lol, but that's clearly his slightly ocd choice, not something a potential new owner should have to cover.

Perhaps it just sounds good and shows this weapon has received a level of love not usually bestowed upon a toy. Thus greatly increasing its worth.

How many for sale adds say "recently serviced" . Which lets be honest is 90% bullshit and completely impossible to prove it wasn't.

What does a systema do that a short  stroked Cyma and a mosfet doesn’t?

Now... not as big a margin but it still feels different and better.
The dimensions of the grip are skinner too, which feels nice.
The sound is again different and so good.
Just owning one makes your penis 4" longer.

All in all, still the best there is.

What he said.

They just feel different. If you tried one for the day, everything else seems like junk.

Then, when they go wrong, you want to burn them and hate them with every part of your being.

I sold my recoils, they just feel cheap and both of them broke ( they were "modified") . The ptw is 14 years old and pretty sure it's never been serviced...it will break now I said this.

He's updated the advert but not the price.

Although it's still up as a 'high cycle'. ?

And still asking £250 for a defective example of a toy that's £200 new, in stock at Patrol Base.

I wonder if the seller calls hits to his solid brass neck.

Heheh, he's just dropped it to a bargain £170.  I've updated the question. ?

Apparently it "works perfectly excluding the safety".

Like, my car is perfect, except don't park it on a hill, because the handbrake doesn't work.

Obviously I never intentionally inferred that in my question ?

To be fair to him he's taken it on the chin and dropped the price to £110
