  1. I use the omega nubs in a few rifs, and I've been using maple leaf rubers with them. The new MR rubber and the older style too. They've been great.
  2. A pistol lanyard would be a better option that a spiral cable. You can do it in a paracord sleeve with a core to prevent snagging and yanking on the cable. I've done a few for lights, switches and some that include a step down for running 4s lipos in 2s systems (fpv goggles) Have a good silicon shield cable slightly longer than the paracord outer, I use 550, then feed the cable as a fine paracord through the middle. Once the all threaded through melt the paracords together and add a little heat shrink. Then its just soldering the wiring together. And the battery goes in a pocket/pouch next to the lanyard fix point.
  3. That's great thanks. I think fold point is going to be next on my list, now I've gettingbthere with the new 308 build.
  4. What's the folding adaptor on the m4?
  5. It could be that the ptt output is mono and the adapter is stereo. The mismatch means very low volume. I had it when I connected my sporttacs to a baofeng fist mic using a stereo cable connection. Once I changed it to a mono cable connection all was resolved.
  6. How are you connecting them? Is it a 3.5mm jack?
  7. I'd solder a new connector, xt or deans would be much better than tamiya. Which ever you can match with your chargers/other batteries.
  8. Another vote for the 5r, I used mine with the standard and fist mic and ear piece for a while then swapped out the ear piece for my sporttac ear Pro. I don't have the boom mic as I'm not a fan of them in general use as I always seem to get them hooked on things.
  9. Another vote for a name tag. I have mine on the back of carrier. Easy to see if youre looking at my back and it's short, easy to yell.
  10. Bin it. A good charger can be the difference between ashes and a home.
  11. It'll be the bbs causing it, the cheap bbs are usually poor. Stick to better quality bbs and you'll have fewer issues I'm sure. Good good getting everything cleared.
  12. I've seen the rules in the past and in the end I just didn't play those sites. It seems stupid idea in my opinion. Hpa has tournament lockable regulators etc, just require those. As for co2 being over anything has the potential to be over if you adjust/build/modify it that way. I have a co2 m9 I've used for winter and have done for years simply as it's much better at dealing with the cold than my green gas pistols at the time. All I'd have suggested is that you contact them and ask for clarification and then vote with your feet/wallet one way or the other. Not all site owners/operators are the sharpest of tools or brightest of lights.
  13. Thanks, I'll have a look. So ive found that of I go for a wolverine I can use the g&g g2h gear box and mod the wiring loom I can put the electrical cut off into the fcu circuit. I haven't had the funds to brave it yet but here's hoping for some project money....
  14. You can't have both really. The hybrid replaces trigger contacts and uses optical and magnetic switches. The etu++ has all the same settings/features, bar trigger depth and sensitivity, but as it uses the g&g electronic trigger unit you retain the stop on empty, have a much easier fitting (just plug it in to the g&g loom) and it's two thirds of the price.
  15. Nice loadout. I'd guess the pic was taken at the gaol.
  16. All good then, carry on. It might be worth trying the stock motor, it's not bad and I'd swap the stock mosfet for the perun etu++ unit. More setting adjustment and more robust.
  17. Check your inner barrel length, so you don't go longer than stock, as the cylinder is ported and the gears are short stroked to match.
  18. I think first and only in Wrexham were doing one on a regular basis, if that's any help.
  19. Do you have the additional spacer for the WAS holster. A lot of the second hand sale seem to ot have it included. If you don't it might be worth seeing if you can find one, old make the difference.
  20. Asomodai, have you tried using a uv security mark. Something we used to do when selling high value items was to place a UV security mark on the disk. And something I do when selling vinyl is to close up image all of the pressing numbers so disc switching is extremely difficult to do. Beyond that I'm glad you got at least a better result than I'd have through likely with the state of ebay of late.
  21. Rubber on to barrel dry and gentle, then a wipe of silicon lube on the outer, away from the lip, to ease it all into the hop unit. I found it helps if units are a little tight, and stops the rubber from being distorted or torn.
  22. Bang on. Its the players which make or break the dayon a site and if anyone is acting like a like a prick with an extreme rate of fire it should be the marshals who have a word and make it known that they need to curb it or leave.
  23. Your best bet would be to continue to play and if your parent was willing, talk to the shop on site, as they would be fully aware of your participation and that would be the defence. Ukara attemps to prove intended use and participation for retailers; to sell to a buyer who isn't present, I.e. over the Internet or who has walked into a physical retail store, rather than somebody who is on site and has an active history on that site. If your site doesn't have a sensible shop then you'll likely out of luck.
  24. If they wanted to sub an out of stock item they have to agree it with you before they do it, unless it's in the t&c. If you don't want it as uts not the ratio you ordered make them pay to get it back or take it up with PayPal etc.
  25. Looks about right, with the mags standing away from the body.
