  1. Evening all. I'm going to be based in the Birmingham area for work over the next few months and I'd like to know if anyone knows of weekday evening games, bravo one used to do them but they have folded thanks to covid, as far as I know. So is there anywhere that anyone know of or could at least suggest I look?
  2. I'd suggest it's almost there with what's been done. Personally I wouldn't have gone for the titan as the perun units and the stock etu work really well. I'd suggest if you want to change something swap the barrel for a zci stainless steel tight bore. If memory serves the mbr variant inner barrel is 407mm and works well with the stock cylinder volume, though you need a outer barrel extension to cover it. I have the tr16 308 mbr, which I think is a 14.5" outer barrel which covers very nearly all of the 407mm inner.
  3. Just buy which ever uzi fits the dimensions required. Scratch build a buck and vac-form a shell. Wrap the rif. Making thing overly complex will only drive the budget up.
  4. We have all suffered through covid, the site owner is no exception, but they aren't going about recovery if that is how they treat folk who choose to play at the site. Anyone who has decent leasure retail experience will tell you its not the one-offs that grow a business, its the repeat client. Once they go then things get very tricky. I know, as I'm sure others here do, that as self employed folk things are as hard now as ever as we have had to dip into savings, cut back, find cost saving where we can to survive. Slapping the faces of locals and regulars isn't the way to do it.
  5. As you have changed the barrel I'd start by checking the air seal of the hop rubber to the barrel and into the hop unit. If any seals a bleeding air then you'll be dropping the fps. Then ehen you reassemble make sure the barrel and hop unit are pushing back to seat on the nozzle correctly.
  6. It's going for that s25 vibe. If you like it run it.
  7. I've found the pts epg variety of grips comfy after coming from the g&g contoured grip on m4 platforms. As a quick fix I found a wrapped of material tape and a glock grip sleeve worked well on my g36 as I found that grip too shallow, front to back.
  8. I use wera tools for quite a few of my hand tools. So far they have been great and they have a diverse range so you should be able to find what you want.
  9. I'd suggest negative airaoft too, but the mp9 is fairly straight forward, there is also an assembly video from negative airsoft if I remember correctly. I seem to remember only one screw needs undoing then the buffer rod needs pressing and the rest then it comes apart.
  10. Option 1. Do as speedbird suggests, bucket of salt water will discharge them completely over time. Option 2. Take them outside and hit them with an axe. Two two two.
  11. Straight out the box I ran with .3g hopped them fine. Though I have dmr'd it now I ran it as is came initially, just cleaned the barrel and set the hop. It felt good. Responsive, solid not silly rate of fire, 328fps on a .2g could lift .3s
  12. It will depend in the sites you play really. My local wants dmr to be 7.62 or other larger calibre rifs, they state no m4s with the fps pumped up but others are less fussy. Personally it's not an issue as I have a g&g 308 so i can run it dmr or assault rifle category.
  13. As other have mentioned it should just help the seal and fitment.
  14. Got hit in the head with trmr that some tit decided to throw. Had to sit out a few games until the world straightened out.
  15. Bang rules are dumb, too much ambiguity. If you're that worried about getting hurt run the site with a lower fps. There have been a few uk based cqb site I've played at that require a lower fps and semi only and some that didn't allow grenade use simply as they were in a highly urban area. Surrender options. Fine. You call it and they have to option to take it, in the knowledge that of they don't they could be getting hit at the mich closer closer range. Giving players that choice can make for some quite memorable moments, I know I've had few. Dummy grenades. If it doesn't go off it does fire so it's a dud. I know I've used my bfg when it's not primed. Roll it in and when they are running for the exits follow it in and shoot them as they flee. Knives. After covid we'll have to see how things go. But they should be allowed. It should be a silent option. A tap on the shoulder, a whispered knife kill, no hit call out, just take it and walk away, if someone has been sneaky enough to creep through then they should be able to continue that advance.
  16. Like you I'm in the shorter leg category, but need to wear knee protection with work as well as play. I've found over the years there's no sub for good kit. I've moved most of my kit to clawgear of late, as they are tailored well and the knee protection is adjustable as to its position and fit. I appreciate it is not the cheapest of gear but I've found both the raider and operater to be great.
  17. I have the 308 variety of the tr16 and so far it's been great. Went 308 as the site I play want dmr in calibre greater than 5.56, meaning long m4 doesn't count. I have the parts to dmr it I just haven't done it yet as it was so good running it as a battle rifle. Size of mag well aside, they are more or less the same internally. Weak point would be the mosfet, but perun make an upgrade unit which is cheap and plugs straight in. The only other change I'd note is that the piston head isn't ported but not everyone wants ported. It hopped point 3s out of the box and ran about 338fps (on .2s). Would I buy it again. Yes.
  18. The lab run by first and only. Old dairy plant; lots of dark, lots of corners, twisted routes and a mix of floors and split levels.
  19. Unlikely. I have the 308 variant of the tr16 and a 1450 cell just slides into the slots. The cells would be too thick/square unless you changed the stock. Have a look for crane stock batteries and make sure you get/a good balance charger.
