  1. Afternoon all, I've joined the app-01 club, couldn't resist 20% off. First test shot and its lifting .3g nicely. Now I need some mags and such to make it game ready. As I understand stand, after reading the thread, it's WE g18 mags for best results and I have a question you lovely folks might be able to answer, regarding holsters. I've just tried it in my warrior holster which takes almost everything but the enlarged mag release sometimes catches the holster release, making the magaine come loose. How thick is the stock magazine release? Iis there enough meat there to dremel off the top and stipple the release?
  2. First and only have sites in Wigan and Bury.
  3. The parts to make up that harness are dirt cheap and it's easy to do if you have a solder iron. If you don't fancy that you should be able to buy an off the shelf 2s parallel board which will work to. I've made a few different sets for using different batteries a rifs and still matching my charger, personally I prefer xt connectors over deans, I found they handle weather better.
  4. I fitted the xcortech pistol tracer inside a suppressor, removed the first few sections of foam to make space. Centralise by either an outer brace (3d print a sleeve or oring and heat shrink) or an internal thread extention.
  5. Kinetic on a paracord strap which I wear for work has become my airsoft watch. Its been great for getting messed up and then cleaned up.
  6. Lipo Storage, I use an ammo tin with the rubber removed. Works well as it clamps shut but if anything we're to go pop it doesn't become a potential pressure pot.
  7. I run a single through a shoulder strap on my pc when using my mp9, but it's a ops plate carrier sling, so only a single strap of webbing. Other than that it's a quick action2 point (5.11 vtac padded)
  8. Chair and cool box are a good shout, I'd also add a tarp and some paracord. If it's raining and you fancy a bit of cover it great, i know I don't like to sit in muddy kit in the car if it's a long lunch breaks that some sites like
  9. Unlucky with the warranty my q2 started stating that it was over heating and shutting off as soon as it booted up. So far my new one hasn't dropped a beat, fingers crossed. Game wise, I'm loving alyx and I've picked up pavlov, superhot, lone echo, alien isolation (mother mod). Onward is on the list but I was put off with the steam reviews.
  10. If your having issues with the quest 2 I'd certainly get on to your retailer or oculus ASAP. I've recently had to go through it and I can say for certain it will be the last time I use John Lewis and oculus leave a lot to e desired when it comes to customer service. Having said that I am enjoying the quest functionality, as I've been taking it with me when working away from home.
  11. There probably aren't many rail systems which are compatible with the stock barrel nut, but you should be able to find a rail with its own barrel nut. I would just be case of emiving you stock rail and barrel nut then fitting the new nut and rail. I'd start with ak2m4.co.uk as they are good for parts, but I think the biggest issue right now is finding so.eqherw with the style you want in stock.
  12. You might not have to chanege the barrels, you should be able to change the rail system leaving them in place. Look for a rail system that includes the barrel nut and you you should be able to fit it and decide if you want a longer barrel, suppressor system extention or leave it as it is.
  13. There are a fair few bolt action rifs on the market which are gas driven but as Ed mentioned you will be better served looking at spring powered rifs unless you are looking to use hpa.
  14. I use 7.4 lipo in none mosfet rifs and keep an eye on the battery with a lipo alarm connected to the balance lead, works a treat.
  15. Maple leaf, it what I tend to go for, work well and I had great results with a feiends ares honey badger using a w hold rubber. I usually use ak2m4.co.uk for pets parts and such and have never disappointed, and they usually have a good selection of aeg rubbers.
  16. That is a disappointing thing to read. I hope that the guys from inrange find a new home and can mange to migrate the site rather than have to loose it completely.
  17. Smc9 seems to be a rif for tinkerers, as I've never seen a stock one run for very long before something goes wrong, and that's if it works from the box. Keep the mp7.
  18. Isdt and skyrc are the chargers I use. They have a mix of models to suit budget and desired spec/setup. Ive used them for many years on airsoft, rc crawlers and fpv quads and they have never missed a beat.
  19. Jumped in to follow along as I ordered one last weekend.
  20. As Hamster mentions, it sounds like you are pulling too many amps for that particular battery. If your battery compartment isn't big enough for the 2000mah 7.5v then you can either change the motor for a higher torque, fewer revs and pull less juice from the pack or use higher c batteries which are smaller but use more of them over the course of the day.
  21. I've had a simar issue. I use these leads with my sporttac. Like you k had a stereo lead for the when I'm using the headset at work and listening to my phone (audio books etc). The mics are often mono despite looking like a stereo plug and after switching to a mono cable when plugged into the mic it worked great. I wouldn't have been my first thought especially after opening the mic to check the wiring but I spoke to jci communication and the issue is on the peltor side. I now have a stereo lead in the van for work and a mono tied into my plate carrier for radio use.
  22. I get a fair few of mine from hobby rc, admittedly they are unlikely to have stick or crane type batteries.
