  1. Unlucky with the warranty my q2 started stating that it was over heating and shutting off as soon as it booted up. So far my new one hasn't dropped a beat, fingers crossed. Game wise, I'm loving alyx and I've picked up pavlov, superhot, lone echo, alien isolation (mother mod). Onward is on the list but I was put off with the steam reviews.
  2. If your having issues with the quest 2 I'd certainly get on to your retailer or oculus ASAP. I've recently had to go through it and I can say for certain it will be the last time I use John Lewis and oculus leave a lot to e desired when it comes to customer service. Having said that I am enjoying the quest functionality, as I've been taking it with me when working away from home.
  3. There probably aren't many rail systems which are compatible with the stock barrel nut, but you should be able to find a rail with its own barrel nut. I would just be case of emiving you stock rail and barrel nut then fitting the new nut and rail. I'd start with ak2m4.co.uk as they are good for parts, but I think the biggest issue right now is finding so.eqherw with the style you want in stock.
  4. You might not have to chanege the barrels, you should be able to change the rail system leaving them in place. Look for a rail system that includes the barrel nut and you you should be able to fit it and decide if you want a longer barrel, suppressor system extention or leave it as it is.
  5. There are a fair few bolt action rifs on the market which are gas driven but as Ed mentioned you will be better served looking at spring powered rifs unless you are looking to use hpa.
  6. That's not news that's nice to hear.
  7. I use 7.4 lipo in none mosfet rifs and keep an eye on the battery with a lipo alarm connected to the balance lead, works a treat.
  8. Maple leaf, it what I tend to go for, work well and I had great results with a feiends ares honey badger using a w hold rubber. I usually use ak2m4.co.uk for pets parts and such and have never disappointed, and they usually have a good selection of aeg rubbers.
  9. That is a disappointing thing to read. I hope that the guys from inrange find a new home and can mange to migrate the site rather than have to loose it completely.
  10. Smc9 seems to be a rif for tinkerers, as I've never seen a stock one run for very long before something goes wrong, and that's if it works from the box. Keep the mp7.
  11. Isdt and skyrc are the chargers I use. They have a mix of models to suit budget and desired spec/setup. Ive used them for many years on airsoft, rc crawlers and fpv quads and they have never missed a beat.
  12. Jumped in to follow along as I ordered one last weekend.
  13. Finished the mortar tube.
  14. I've had a simar issue. I use these leads with my sporttac. Like you k had a stereo lead for the when I'm using the headset at work and listening to my phone (audio books etc). The mics are often mono despite looking like a stereo plug and after switching to a mono cable when plugged into the mic it worked great. I wouldn't have been my first thought especially after opening the mic to check the wiring but I spoke to jci communication and the issue is on the peltor side. I now have a stereo lead in the van for work and a mono tied into my plate carrier for radio use.
  15. Basic mortar tube for shouldered use.
  16. Ouch. Where did you find geoffs .36s though.
  17. We have all suffered through covid, the site owner is no exception, but they aren't going about recovery if that is how they treat folk who choose to play at the site. Anyone who has decent leasure retail experience will tell you its not the one-offs that grow a business, its the repeat client. Once they go then things get very tricky. I know, as I'm sure others here do, that as self employed folk things are as hard now as ever as we have had to dip into savings, cut back, find cost saving where we can to survive. Slapping the faces of locals and regulars isn't the way to do it.
  18. I use wera tools for quite a few of my hand tools. So far they have been great and they have a diverse range so you should be able to find what you want.
  19. Like you I'm in the shorter leg category, but need to wear knee protection with work as well as play. I've found over the years there's no sub for good kit. I've moved most of my kit to clawgear of late, as they are tailored well and the knee protection is adjustable as to its position and fit. I appreciate it is not the cheapest of gear but I've found both the raider and operater to be great.
  20. I have the 308 variety of the tr16 and so far it's been great. Went 308 as the site I play want dmr in calibre greater than 5.56, meaning long m4 doesn't count. I have the parts to dmr it I just haven't done it yet as it was so good running it as a battle rifle. Size of mag well aside, they are more or less the same internally. Weak point would be the mosfet, but perun make an upgrade unit which is cheap and plugs straight in. The only other change I'd note is that the piston head isn't ported but not everyone wants ported. It hopped point 3s out of the box and ran about 338fps (on .2s). Would I buy it again. Yes.
  21. The lab run by first and only. Old dairy plant; lots of dark, lots of corners, twisted routes and a mix of floors and split levels.
  22. Unlikely. I have the 308 variant of the tr16 and a 1450 cell just slides into the slots. The cells would be too thick/square unless you changed the stock. Have a look for crane stock batteries and make sure you get/a good balance charger.
