  1. That's fair enough but it is slightly unrealistic is to expect a second hand buyer to burden your initial "additional" outlay because it wasn't in stock so paid the rarity tax and you had to buy it in 2 tone when for barely anything more they can buy new in "real" colours now. As pointed out above, if you aim for around 60% of the CURRENT retail price you are probably in the right ball park. Congrats for not having a major diva strop though (many do) 😎
  2. Shorter carbine version is still £299 on fire support though, the RRP is how much the weapon is NOW not what the receipt says. Receipt going with the RIF to prove warranty? Mmmm dunno how that would work, if it does great good news for the potential buyer. The fact it's ready to paint just means someones purposely taken the finish off, so yeah I think a new and real RIF wins there. Cross advertising? No, this is where people look to see who's being a little too ambitious with their pricing. Throw whatever tongue in cheek positive spin on that you will but you'll find it's not beneficial to your sale in the long run. The people in this thread discussing this are your ideal candidates for constructive criticism, we're not biased in your favour and we sure as hell won't be buying your overpriced goods so will happily advise you to get to a sensible price point 🙂
  3. LMFAO they're £299 brand new with warranty. The balls some people have.
  4. Just placed an order with X-Fire for a new PDI barrel. Good times.
  5. Trolling me or have no grasp of sarcasm? This site is perfectly welcoming, join, converse, it's fine. Don't expect to join, list items for sale overpriced and everyone thank you for it. We look out for each other, people who get their threads mentioned either take the dose of reality and price realistically or have a fanny fit. Maybe if you'd gotten involved in a few conversations and got a feel for the community you'd have realised the worth of what you were selling and then not have tried to make yourself out the victim here.
  6. But he "claims" it is running 530fps, so that's enough to tick the box of "leave the f**k alone". To be honest I'm more inclined to take your word for the FPS it is producing compared to the rest of the dribble in the ad but meh, you were picking him up yourself on these falsities not 5 posts ago lol.
  7. You've upgraded a dozen to higher than what our limits state we can use? Responsible.
  8. Yes I am wrong on it not coming new. The rest of my statement is true, beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that 😂
  9. I doubt they ever came with a skin on like that. Most likely someones attempt to cover up a 2 tone in the first place. It's not something which adds value to be fair, it just reduces the amount of people who'd buy it as it's a bit garish to 50% of the population. Stuff like paint job etc really aren't anything that add value, just a bonus if the buyer can look at it without vomiting.
  10. Hello, I appreciate you may have some stock flow issues ATM but do you know when you'll be getting some more suppressors in? Really trying to get my hands on something 200mm long with a diameter 30-34mm?

Ordered a couple of bits from two different AliExpress sellers on the 28th of January, one dispatched pretty quickly and arrived on the 18th of February.  Notification that the other has been dispatched received two days ago.  Seems like some stuff is moving but it's very hit and miss.

Personally speaking, as long as it's not a return of bubonic plague (death toll 70-200 million) or Spanish flu (death toll 40-50 million) then I'm not too concerned.  The "regular" flu virus kills 300,000-500,000 people a year (source), current global death toll appears to be around 2,800 out of 82,000 reported cases (source), a mortality rate of 3.4%, this obviously does not take into account unreported cases of those people who felt a bit unwell for a couple of weeks, didn't bother seeing a doctor and recovered without an issue, resulting in figures giving more weight to the death toll.

Context is a wonderful thing but doesn't sell newspapers.  Either that or I've just become overly cynical following year after year after year of the latest "panic".

yeah I saw that with connector set & vice etc...

saw that this morning - nice dsg vid too

I was thinking of buying a Titan on my wish list with Seigetek etc...

After watching the vid I am even more determined to

      NOT buy a Titan

Good vid, amazing build - heck 7.4v would have done

but as Luke said he did it to prove a point

not he can't build it, but chooses NOT to build wanker guns

  13. Quick share, GSPEC mode activated. Using a new FAST hop with SBA 60 flat hop and a ZCI 380mm stainless @ak2m4 barrel, it does protrude into the suppressor a bit but wow does it feel more agile.
  14. I'll hold my hand up and say that firstly it was me who flagged up the ad, no salt is given, it's not us who won't sell a £130 pistol for £700. "Not jumping to conclusions without knowing anything", it's your sales ad, maybe you could have put more information in so personal conclusions weren't needed? I have never heard about tuning for accuracy on a gun, what is there you can actually affect other than the hop up? I appreciate you have gone to extensive lengths on the Capa but really do think you're going to struggle selling as a complete piece for the money you are doing. May have a lot more luck taking your time and splitting it down and the parts off and then the pistol in it's stock format. Yes you're leaving the sport and undoubtedly want a quick and easy out but I'm 99% certain you won't get that with what you're doing.
  15. Also has an advert for a VFC Avalon that has barely been used but hasn't missed a beat. Wouldn't expect it to if it hasn't been used that much.....
  16. OK so I'm not saying this is a "super-mega-ripoff-OMG" but surely something which is as custom as this is done to an individual taste so finding someone to buy it in the first place would be like a needle in a haystack but then for this amount of money? I appreciate the parts list is extensive but it still is marked as needing "accuracy tuning" 😐 If you were at the level where you'd be spending that much on a Hi-Capa wouldn't you likely want to be building your own anyway?
  17. Inconsiderate postman woke me at 7 with my Skirmshop order.

    AK2M4

Another order dropped in to AK2M4. Continual great service and honest pricing comes far above most other things. Had an awesome day with the "backup" yesterday so decided to treat it to a couple of small upgrades.
  19. Fog Stop review by a fat sweaty guy (no cringe video)

      Come on!

We want a parkinsons levels of shaky video review recorded in 480p, with lots of really heavy breathing!!

  20. Thought I'd sorted this but struck down at the start of the day, been chrono'ing fine, getting 2.2J but then when I tried to hop BB's (don't have a field to set up before hand). Either they were falling desperately short or jamming completely. Combination was the SBA 60 rubber along with the Tigra nub. So..... Will strip it and wait for RHop stuff to arrive and use the FOW nub and..... Ordered a G-Spec kit and extra FAST unit to use with a spare barrel I have to build up as a "hot swap" using the included SBA bucking and nub. Will likely order a PDI 6.05 in time for it but meh, that'll be once the credit card is cleared (again).
  21. Identical experiences then. Does imply nub problem. I'm looking forward to the FOW arriving then.
  22. Same, I went for a 60. I thought about buying a 70 but instead I've ordered an SBA 60 & 70 for spares as I'm having a tantrum at faceless lol Just head a brainfart moment. What nub did you use? The FOW wasn't in stock when I ordered so I went with a Stalker Tigra. I'm wondering if the pressure point was to long down the barrel as the FOW is more of a "thin" line across rather then a "pad" of pressure. I'm wondering if the Tigra applied pressure to close to the edges causing the rip. **May have just ordered a 60, 70 and FOW as well**
